What‘s your opinion about e liquid made in China?

E cigarette and e liquid firstly started from China and now spread over the world. E cigarette production now mainly still in China. But e liquid production is booming over the world. The competition is larger every moment. Expecially for Chinese e liquid manufacture. It is not only the reason of many of e liquid manufacture and DIY maker come out oversea, but also people don't like e liquid made in China, expecially e liquid without famous brand. What's your opinion about e liquid made in China? Would you buy them in your local shop?

No, I don't even trust the local shops, that's why I DIY. I didn't like that they usually go behind a curtain and "mix your order" I know most of them get a bottle of 24mg nic and a bottle of 0mg and guesstmate for the level you request. I get my supplies from Heartlandvapes here in Oklahoma City and mix for myself and friends.

DIY ,,,,buying supplies from reputable dealers is the only way to go in my opinion
if your supplies are good quality, then you know precisely whats in your juice !!!

An item assambled or made in USA doesnt make that item pure USA.
All of the ingredients might be coming from China. Even the ingredients in the flavourings which we use in DIY may contain China manufactured bits.

If you don't mind vaping pencil shavings and cat piss, go for it. :)

China was the original, but there is a reason we now have U.S shops and suppliers. Just my opinion, take it as law or with a grain of salt. That just what I do. I DIY myself and buy from mixing stuff from a shop I know I can trust.

It doesnt have to make sense. I dont feel comfortable with china manufacturers making my juice because i believe that some will cut corners that may do me harm. Would i buy eliquid from gas station which where most of chinese juice I have seen is sold...the answer is no. When i first started vaping i did try a few juices made in china that i purchaced and sold at shops. It was awful and not just the taste something wasnt right with it when you vaped it. Seemed more of chemical smell. Bottom line i just dont trust the products enough to use them. Maybe after the fda creates and inforces regulations.

My biggest concern with Chinese made juice, is lead and harmful additives. WTF is it with China and lead? Is it the national food? Why is lead ending up in products over here?

I'll pass on China made juice. Thanks anyway.

While it is possible the Chinese could create the best juice and sell it for the best price, I just don’t trust them. Most recent example is the all “stainless steel” nautilus that turns out to have a brass chimney.

They have a history of using lead as filler in everything. Including plastics.

I did use Chinese Tsunami juice my first week of vaping.
Because it was the only thing available local and I was committed to stop smoking.
It tasted like candle wax and chemicals. I feel ill whenever I look at a bottle.

When I started vaping with a 510 automatic battery and a cartomizer, all the juice was Dekang or Hangsen. Some of it tasted like shit, some like the melon vapes was ok. Now I make the majority of what I vape, with some exceptions like Bobas, or Kringle. I used to really like the Dekang 555 blend, now it tastes like chemicals to me.

The mixing plants are not my concern. That is a very nice facility. My issue is what apemustnotkillvape said. Lead, and other ingredients that are either intentionally used, or just not removed in the actual juice. Read this: Still think the eLiquid is safe?

Good point. Wasn't thinking of it like that. Kinda like all those childrens toys that still had lead paint used on them.

In 1963, Herbert Gilbert patented "a smokeless non-tobacco cigarette". In his patent Gilbert described how his device worked, by "replacing burning tobacco and paper with heated, moist, flavored air." Gilbert's device involved no nicotine, smokers of Gilbert's device enjoyed flavored steam. Attempts to commercialize Gilbert's invention failed and his product fell into obscurity. However, it deserves a mention as the earliest patent for an electronic cigarette.
Better known is the the invention of Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik, who patented the first nicotine based electronic cigarette in 2003. The following year, Hon Lik was the first person to manufacture and sell such a product, first in the Chinese market and then internationally.
I guess the American that invented the e cig invented it at the wrong time in 1963 we had more freedom and Government could care less if we smoked so the demand just was not there.

We are talking about a place where the milk wholesalers added melamine to the milk and watered it down to fool the protein assay testing. Lots of babies died and were blinded/poisoned by melamine tainted formula, now western baby formula flies off the shelves as soon as it comes in.

If it took 2+ weeks to have it mailed to me, forget it. lol

As for actually buying it locally, no clue. I wouldn't be against trying it.
Despite all the controversy over health issues relating to china. Most stuff comes from china already anyway.

I will not purchase ANYTHING to be used or consumed, inside MY body, or that of my pets, that comes from China.

And yes, I DO read the labels and do background research.

For the record most juice doesnt come from china unless your buying from gas station. Sure there are local shops that have questionable juice around the US. But seriously why take the risk? everyone I have met that tried china juice ....found usualy in those rediculously small bottles regreted it. Personally if i walk into a shop that sells juice from china its an automic fail and i exit as quickly as possible. I just cant take them seriously. Just my two cents.

I would never "consume" any product from China knowingly. I seen enough with the "Lead Paint" for kids projects

Yet those are the juices they base their anti-vaping "studies" on. There's the bad rep right there.

What the difference? You would be vaping it anyway with China made liquid....

You don't have to buy China based vaping liquid... I have a good friend who makes boatloads of money in his shop with Chinese made liquid. I don't buy from him... He doesn't even Vape it. He buys craft liquids... All usa made in Cali or some from the east coast from people he knows...

If you do your research you can find clean USP Kosher grade hand crafted stuff.. Sure it costs more- but id rather support a local American business than a business in it for the $$ with no regard for the end user.

Yes, the products are predominantly Chinese that we use these liquids in- but minimize the risks As much as you can while you're at it...

Just bought some ejuice called curl up from a Chinese store, it's not bad in the sense that you can't taste any chemicals in it but the flavors are horrible, got cherry and Red Bull and they taste nothing like any of the above mentioned flavors, they actually taste like sweet air to be honest, the smell aswell is not as is mentioned either, Just horrible through and through the packaging is sketchy and they have no other info on there about where it's made, VG/PG ratio, and other important things, first and last time I'll ever buy Chinese e juice, save yourselves the trouble and just don't buy anything that matches the description I have left above...

Friends don't let friends vape Chinese juice.
Indeed, I wonder if somewhere out there, there are people on a thread like this but instead are praising Chinese juice and recommending it to others...

This is no joke though, I hope everyone looking for an opinion on Chinese juice finds this thread and will be persuaded by most of our bad experiences so he/she will not even think of buying some, like really I'd rather put orange and all sorts of drinking juice in my atty and vape that(dont but if you're desperate for e juice then you might as well)

When I started vaping in 2011 most of the juice was either Chinese or made from Chinese nicotine. It always had the same back flavor....A very good Friend of mine coined a phrase I think best describes it. "Tastes like sweaty Monkeys ballz."
