Sure, please keep in mind tho, that when it comes to hardware and juices everybody have different preferences, however I'm going to list a couple of items that helped me as I started and wished somebody would have mentioned. But just because I like it won't mean its the same for you. You still would have to do some research via forum or YouTube about wicking, coils in general. As well as what's an RBA, RTA and Rdta . either way all of them fall under the main category rebuildables and do save you money in the long run, as well as giving you a more customable vaping experience.
I would highly suggest a RTA or RDTA at the beginning, with a decent sized built deck (22 or 24 mm) that's velocity style. Its very easy to build on and won't be as frustrating, while learning. RDTA is great if you're mostly vaping at home, while some newer models might not have that issue, my experience was that this is not something you want when being on the road. Most will leak when not placed up in a static position, due to the fact that most of them have a side airflow. They do need to be refilled more often as well, but its no hassle at home.
RTA on the other hand is my go to tank, I can take it everywhere I go and even throw it in my purse or jacket, its more forgivable when it comes to storage. My absolute favorite is the Aromamizer by steam crave, its older but affordable, downside you need to refill it from the bottom. But with a 6ml tank you barely need to refill it in comparison to other setups. Most importantly is flavor to me, this thing delivers and in fact is actually far up on a list, especially for being an older model/tank. You can get it at for already $5
here, and at that price you won't feel bad if you don't like it lol.
If we looking at newer and more pricier but way superior rta's, nothing beats vandy vapes kensei. But its around 35-45 bucks and since its new, lots of places are out of stock. I would check if interested in these items places like element vapes, breazy, vaporDNA. These are US based vendors, I won't recommend Chinese vendors because its hit or miss with them.
For wire my go to place is advanced vape supplies, and I would recommend stainless steel. You can either buy spools of wire there or already build coils you only need to install into your rta. You wouldn't have to get coil jigs and all that if getting the already made ones, spools would be cheaper tho, but again there's nothing wrong with already built. Gives you also the possibility to test and experiment with their different coils/wires and gauges. If you ask me, i would pick fused Clapton's because they are great for flavor. If building yourself aka getting spools, you still could get them but watch a video first, easier would be just their simple round wire, way cheaper but also different flavor ranges you'll archive with these. Great when learning and understanding building your own coils. When using the fused Clapton spools you will need a bit practice and patient but pays off. Price range is around $12-17 for the spools of Clapton's, $2.50 $5 for spools of round wire and their already wrapped coils are around $6.99 -9.99 I believe for 10 of them. Sorry I'm at work so I can't really load the page right now.
Then you will need wicking material, again do some research since there's different materials. I personally use Kendo Vape cotton, but its not very simple to wick with. Easier is cotton bacon or unbleached Japanese cotton pads you can get everywhere including amazon.
I hope it helps, I'll expand my post when home from work later tonight, might include some things I've forgotten etc. Please do take a look at the builder section here on the forums, lots of members made great guides on building your own coils and more suggestion's.
