Is this okay? I read the rules and didn't see anything about firearms.

I know I'm not the only wackjob bigot who clings to my guns!

I found this used glock 19, and 3 holsters I will probably never use, a couple weeks ago for $425. The price was so fair I didn't even try talking him down to $400. I wanted a spare for my EDC and had been browsing a local gun forum's classified for a few weeks and most people were asking 500 - 525 without any of the extras this bundle had. Now I just need to toss a set of night sights on it and it will be good to go.

That is excess gun oil on the slide from it laying on it's side in the safe, not holster wear or worse.

oy, please don't make me wish we had a whole Guns subforum..

I been sublimating my desire to order a win-style safety for my GSA mauser 30-06.. I can't find anyone willing to mill the two bits of the bolt to install for less than the damned cost of the rifle. arrgh

My most recent acquisition, a Glock 22 gen4 40, I thought would be a blank canvas. I dreamed of American flag logos, Punisher skulls, decked out custom cut slides and all sorts of fun stuff.

But the more I read, the more I found out that people having to legitimately use their tools to save their lives, but had a bunch of "style" shit plastered all over it, were getting that stuff used against them. Brandishing things like 'Deus Vult' and Christian Crosses was being used to paint a picture of someone looking to hopefully, one day, get the chance to kill them some insert whatever here. Taking away from the self defense portion, and dipping more into the 'going out and looking for trouble' category.

The Glock sits today the same as when I cracked the case open for the first time at the store, and so it shall for the remainder of days it stays in my hands. (should be a long, long time, knock on wood)

So as funny as it is to have a logo'd or phrase-embossed compensator, I'll throw that little tid bit out there for ya'll to slide into their back pockets for later.

Hell as far as I'm concerned, adorn your Righteous Extension of the Good Lord's Law with whatever you want - the gaudier the better to tacticool out that Glockazine AR 47 sniper machine gun. But reading a couple accounts on that made me realize that I'm probably going to err on the side caution and keep this one stock.

Means I need another one. Then I can yell out Break Yo'self, FOO and grab my crotch. It's the only way.

Go in peace, love each other. Enjoy life, fellow niche gun nuts -slash- vape enthusiasts. A rare slice of an even more rare breed.

Yep, that kinda thing is all well and good for a range gun, but not for a carry gun.
