Yup twist 2 sets same direction where let's say a 12" shrinks to about 9" then twist those 2 sets opposite direction to the desired look of a chain link.

Totally doable by hand, but pass on doing it by hand.

Yep, zactly ... turn one looped length of 28 awg clockwise, repeat with another loop

then put the two together parallel and twist them counterclock, leave them together

i'm using vice pliers and the swivels from the daedalus kit to turn them, works okay until i can get a keyless chuck ... don't ask *grin*

10% off at FT folks. Code KUNGHEI

Weeeeak-ass discount.
Even with the 15% off $150 or more.
Add on the over one-month wait and I'm out.
Full price, authentic and quick FTW
; )

Edit: what's worse is they don't discount something discounted. i.e.: buying 5 or more drip tips. I sure remember fasttech CNY sales being a bigger deal. Or maybe I'm just old and cynical now!

Dang - I'd probably spend $100 there if all his caps didn't have integrated tips.
I'd love Delrin or Ultem for my Flave or Haku - but I like putting bigger tips on anything I can...
Still might get ONE...just can't make up my mind.

NeverNormalz.com just opened there online store for caps and he has black delrin red and glow caps for the wasp nano check out the site theres some stuff but not full yet

Same here bro.
Not a fan of integrated tips on topcaps at all.
Although that Flave22 in grey is calling out to me... I'm pretending not to hear it
For now.

Guess some of you folks need reminding: It is against the Squonkers Code of Conduct to miss a FastTech sale - even if you have to wait several months to get the order

Oh no! Had no idea there was a sale. Got a valid excuse, none of that credit money on my stipend card. Not paying Attention, he wants too much for spooning, his twin sister Oblivion she does it for free.

I'll go take my forty lashes, oh wait it was decided I don't get that. *sighs* No, not the Oprah marathon again! *scurries off to hide* Sometimes it doesn't pay being a masochist. *smh*

I did watch it, dude! By twisting them together in the opposite direction they were twisted initially, you are in effect unwinding them and forcing them to lock in place.

Been looking, reading ... looking some more. Can see your perspective and I guess that yeah, in a way that is how it works out. I was misunderstanding at first and thought you meant to fully unwind each pitch of wire. Took me a bit as my knuckles were dragging the ground too much yesterday, needed some noggin scratching and puzzling over it.

I near popped my father in law in his gob last evening. He got real snippy and mean with the mother in law. It wasn't what was said, well a combination of it and the tone in which it was said. I was surprised she didn't pop him one. Oh but the lovely thrill of being Appalachian and father in laws running dry on money.

We had gone over for Sunday supper, which ironically wasn't much of either. I know they keep plenty on hand to eat. Dirt poor sure, but go hungry it's your own fault. Well, I'll digress and quit letting my critter self think much on it, gets all kinds of foggy.

what i did, was mix one part rit dyemore for synthetic to 3 parts water, submerged delrin, bought it to boil on stove while turning every 3 to 5 minutes

then reduced heat to minimum, and simmered for 25 minutes, continuing to stir and flip

unsure about the tone, but it's ok

difficult part next

I see where you might think that. However you might be wrong.I'd need a very good micro-lens to prove my theory.
Problem is that would cost about 3k just for the optic glass. And another 10k to have the lens built to specs.
But rather than me doing any of that...Just watch the video again.
You can clearly see that the coil strands never separate.
The wraps just wrap around each other...Simple.

I'd hate to have to mark you down with a deficiency - it goes on your permanent record
However!

Ecclesiastes Ch 1 Vr 2-4
2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

In other words nothing is permanent...Cheers!

Actually it pays quite well.
Especially if you write a book about it!

Thanks again @So619Cal for the fun-pak, if only all shipping could be so lightning fast. You should get a job at Fasttech dude

And speaking of, curse you @JuicyLucy !
I've got a FT cart going with a sh!tton of crap I don't even need. I had dumped my wish-list stuff so had to start from scratch.
Good thing the sale is going for awhile so I have time to make some sense of it all, not gonna break the holy Bonkers code luv..

Mine is alumide but turned out nice after it dried. I'll post more later with the door and all for contrast difference.

my 16awg has really fat silicone, too fat. Will need less insulated to fit it in

and turns out neither of my chargers fit 20700

so on hold until payday

Thanks man. Shapeways has the body but you'll have to get internals elsewhere. I'm not sure where though. I don't make them I just buy them .
