why is it that when my wick gets almost dry the flavor intensifies? im using rabies atty right now and i know it isn't an atty for flavor chasing, I'm planning to get wasp nano soon. but i hope you could enlighten me about this are you guys getting the same issue?

im using dual micro coil 26g @ 0.38ohms

Definitely not the case for me. I can tell when the wick is getting dry, but I think it makes the flavor worse. My first thought was that it's a bad wick job. Are you new to building? Maybe others will chime in if I'm wrong, or if they have other thoughts

May be the reason is by the time you get to a drier wick the coil is heated more from multiple toots. Coil possibly not cooled before the next toot. Other than that not sure. If I aim the drip tip towards my tounge rather than no general direction I get batter flavor

But that doesn't explain why you were getting better flavor right before running out of liquid

its because @ lower watts the flavor gets absorbed by the cotton instead of going with the vapor, and when its almost dried up the flavor is the one that's being vaporized.

Doesn't make sense to me, but as long as you're good now that's all that matters

A wet coil not getting enough power is not vaporizing the e-Liquid. When it dries out a bit there is enough power to vaporize it from the entire coil. Want to experiment use an RDA and try it out.

Yea I understand all of that, just that something doesn't seem to add up. But as long as he's got the issue solved then that's great, I don't wanna drag him into a lengthy discussion about it.
I use multiple RDAs and have been vaping for years, so I really do have a decent grasp on what's going on and how everything works. I just wanted to make sure the info that the onlookers read is all correct and capable of helping them solve their issue as well. I'll message you in minute

Then why does it not make sense to you?

I've noticed this before with my rda's as well and agree this is exactly what happens. If I over drip, which happens a lot, I turn up the power a bit and as the juice is vaped I adjust the power slowly back down. I kinda find it fun.

Now this is a person who proves it isn't the tool it is the person using it! My compliments buddy!

It has to coil heat production... A drier coil transmits more of it heat to the air flowing through the attie.. Juice acts as a coolant and absorbs allot of the heat from the coil. You have to heat juice before it vaporizes.

OP fixed issue by increasing coil heat adding wattage. to overcome the cooling affects juice and air..

I was gonna suggest higher watts too but looks like I'm late to the thread but I definitely recommend the Wasp Nano you mentioned. It's definitely a flavor RDA & is so cheap. For $15.00 you can get a couple an rotate different flavours

i was torn between le supersonic, le concorde and the wasp but i prefer tight draws, le supersonic(clone) wasn't available yet on most vapeshops around me and i found le concorde(clone) so i ordered it. im so excited to try it out lol. tried the nano a friend of mine has it but its a bit airy imo. i hope the le concorde fits my vaping style.

I like a restricted draw too, so much so that I've gone back to MTL :)

yeah, that's why i decided to get it instead of a nano. I wanted vaping to feel just like smoking as sometimes i think about smoking just to get that smooth MTL feel, but no more stinkies for me it taste really bad. after my first week of vaping i tried smoking then before i could get 3 puffs i throw the stick away lol. Im already off the stinkies for more than a year.

That's great, keep it up :) I've only just quit, I quit for 3 years then started again last year and after a couple sub ohm setups I went back to MTL and I've quit again. Don't find sub ohm satisfying. If you want a good MTL atty check out the Berserker
