What If somebody got 2 brand new LG HG2's from different Wild Bill stores (boxes different but batteries appear utterly identical except charge levels 30% different) and wants to charge them in a Smok Proclor because he can't afford a charger right now?
Thanks

Will it hurt anything to charge them to even in the mod the first time?

I seriously doubt it would be a problem but do not hit it for a puff before both batteries are equally charged. You will encounter many who say to not charge in the MOD using USB but I do it all the time even with 2 4 bay chargers I need more charging bays.

I can't add to anything @SteveS45 said but I just wanted to ask:

You are in Michigan too eh?
I am indeed. Sir. Detroit as I type this.

Thank you both for the replies. What would be the problem of using it while it's charging that way just out of curiosity.

If the MOD has Pass Thru Charging it is not a problem as long as BOTH BATTERIES ARE EQUALLY charged or discharged. Do not hit the MOD with unbalanced cells~!!!!

I do not own a Pro Color but my Aliens charge fine and balanced. I would have to look up if it has Pass Thru Charging but you can look in your manual. Most these days do though.

I admit that I got impatient and hit it a few times. I hope I didn't damage anything. I should know better being a computer technician, but I am new to vaping. The pro color does have pass-through USB charging according to the website.

Hitting it with different state of charge in the batteries probably would not damage the MOD but will stress the batteries.

Since you only have 2 batteries you should pick up another set and a charger so you are never in the situation where your batteries are not charged and you are dying to vape.

Hopefully those few times didn't hurt the batteries too bad.
I do very much appreciate your help.

A few times should not hurt them.
But i do not recommend charging batteries in a multiple battery mod as most all of them do NOT have balanced charging.

Heard this BS so often I once tested my Smok Alien to see exactly what voltage it shuts down with and charge it all the time seeing a 1% difference in the cells as they charge and both achieve 100% in the MOD. My Nitecore doesn't charge as efficiently and as balanced as the Alien does.

I have almost completely broken the habit of referring to e-juice as "oil" Steve.

Still slips out every once in a great while. :)

Who is this statement meant for? Steve who? :vino:
You.

You're the guy who gave me a hard time about referring to vape juice as "oil" a couple months ago when another guy was asking about subohming salts. You probably don't remember, but that's cool. I went out of my way to revise my vocabulary in this regard.
