I used lean ground turkey. I think pork would have been a touch better but we ate it.

Ground pork is really good to keep around the house. It makes great "hamburger steak," just grilled or fried in soy sauce, butter, and red pepper. Makes a great soup with potatoes or noodles, baby carrots, Italian seasoning in peppery chicken broth. I love the stuff. That deconstructed egg roll dish looks amazing. I would add some grated carrots and a bunch of black pepper.

ETA: Good morning, Pharts! So great to hear from @Jimi !

ETA2: That Chinese dish sounds very similar to Moo Shu Pork. I was trying to think of the name of the dish earlier, and it just wouldn't come to me. Love Moo Shu Pork, but haven't had it in a long time. Yum.

Evening, OPs. How is everyone? Rich, are you snowed in again?

This has been one waste of a day at my house. Storms outside and heavy rain, we even have a tornado watch until about 7 pm. Guess it's getting to be the time of year for that. One of my knees is giving me a fit so I've been a lazy waste of space today. Mixed up more juice yesterday and today than I can vape in six months. Well, that may be an exaggeration, but not by much.

Not in the mood to watch TV, not in the mood to read, don't want to talk to anybody, so I'm just bored and whiny. So I came here. Aren't you happy? o_O

Hubbs is about to go to the convenience store up the road, and he is bringing back :pizza: and a Diet Pepsi. Perhaps that will improve the day.

Most people do :vino:but I do :pizza:. Oh well. At least I don't smoke.

Good news is that Cromwell's Custard is awesome, and I have a new keeper juice. I'm really happy about that, because I'd been trying different recipes, attempting to come up with a clone of the Vanilla Clouds I got from Vape Wild. I think the CC is going to do the trick. Thanks again @The Cromwell ! (He's gonna get sick of me thanking him. 'Nuf already. Gotcha.)

Hope everyone is well and happy.

Cool (for me) is 60 to 70° for this time of year. In a few months, I'd refer to the same temps as cold.

I am not a fan of August. It'll be about getting done whatever has to be done outside by 10:00 AM, and then staying inside with the air conditioner for the rest of the day.

I lived in FL for 7 years.
It is just the reverse of KY. In Fl you are out in the winter and hide in the AC from June to October.
In Ky it is the other way around.

My part of Texas gets much hotter than Florida, but we don't get their awful humidity. the Texan version of Florida is called Houston, and I am glad I don't live around there.

I am hoping this nasty weather holds out for awhile till it heals up enough to till my garden, got to have my veggies.
Not sure we're even going to be able to have a garden this year. Last year, the garden was ready to plant mid-March. This is the middle of April and there is still about a foot of snow covering the entire garden. If the seasons shifted (winter seems to have lasted two months longer than normal) and next Fall arrives two months later, then a garden might still be viable, but if Fall comes at its normal time (first freeze in September), then we don't have time to grow much this year.

I hope it's a late fall them my friend, I couldn't do without my fresh veggies. they are the only ones I can count on being true organic. You could get some short run veggies in anyway.

Hoping for some rain here. We only have about 150 gallons of rain water left for our garden. That will be gone in just a few weeks.
The municipal water has so many minerals in it, that our garden would suffer if we have to use it.

I have a 10,000 gallon cistern 1/2 full of rainwater for a garden. But no time this year for a garden...
Maybe I could 'stream' my water to you over the net?
