Voice control functions for a mod? I gotta admit it sounds kinda gimmicky, but the geek inside me is kinda curious......:) The mod looks nice, comes in a bunch of colors and does look like it would be fun to tinker with. It's compatible with 20700 and 18650 batteries and capable of handling even larger attys, which is always a plus. I should be getting the IJoy Avenger from Heaven Gifts to try out and will report back with my impressions. I have a couple other IJoy mods and they have been very durable and have held up well, so looking forward to trying the Avenger out.

I've got it, and it's a nice mod. The voice system is functional, but limited and a touch glitchy... Sometimes it takes speaking (shouting) the command several times. Additionally, it's only functional in power (wattage) mode. The device is firmware upgradable, so I'm hoping more comes later. Even if it doesn't, it works fine without voice control.

I vape in power mode most of the time, so that's fine. Hopefully there will be an update, it does look promising. I'm brushing up on some accents to test when I talk to it. :p

I received my IJoy Avenger270 Kit from Heaven Gifts and have been using it for about a week. I've been enjoying it and keeping with the Avengers theme, I've nicknamed it "Spiderman" since it kinds looks Spidermanish in the mirror blue and red finish, very nice looking mod. Feels pretty solid, feels nice in the hand too, no rattles, the fire bar works well, the battery door fits flush with no play or wiggle. Nice big screen, very easy to read, very easy to navigate the menu and adjust settings. Fires quick.

I've been walking around talking to the mod and listens to me most of the time and I wish it would listen and do more, but I'm used to that. No one listens to everything I say and tell them to do anyway........ :D I've been playing around talking to it with different accents and stuff and for the most part follows the commands. The lights are fun for awhile, the reactive lighting is kinda cool, but the novelty wears off, but they're easy to turn off with voice control or from the mod. It would be nice if there were more functions and commands that were voice controlled, but I suspect we'll see more advanced voice controlled mods in the future with expanded capabilities. If someone gets it purely for the voice control feature, they would probably be disappointed, but the mod itself works great. It looks good, works great and has the flexibility of 18650 or 20700 batteries.

I got the kit which includes the IJoy Avenger sub-ohm tank and though I usually use rebuildables, I've been pleasantly pleased with the tank and coils. I've been using the mesh coils and they work great, I really like these mesh coils. Airflow is smooth, the flavor is good, wicks really well and I haven't had any leaking or seeping. The tank seems pretty well made, nice fit and easy to fill. I would definitely recommend if anyone was getting the kit, to get the version that includes the batteries. It's only a few dollars more for a pair of pretty good IJoy 20700s, much less than you would spend buying batts separately and you can never have enough batteries. Overall, I like the whole kit, the voice stuff was underwhelming, but it's just kinda something to play around with. Just gotta figure out when I would ever use the romantic lighting option on a mod? o_O

I got the black and white version. Like you, I wish the voice controls did more, or had logical commands (Power high? Really?), but as it's firmware upgradeable, I figure new commands may come in due course.

I was also pleased with the tank, but found that it's not as warm as I'd like it, and if I crank it up to where it's as warm as I'd like it, it starts to taste dry-ish. There is an RBA section available for this tank, and I will be buying it when the coils are gone.

Since I got the kit locally, I did get the version with batteries. You're right... Ijoy puts out some decent 20700s (and 26650s). Make sure they have 5 legs on the positive side. There were some with 4 legs IIRC that were not as good.

These mesh coils surprised me, much better than I expected. I have been vaping mostly fruit flavors in it, ones that I don't like to get to too warm. I've got some peach ice cream in it right now and it's pretty delicious. My kit came with the 5 leg batts, I remember hearing about the 4 legged ones a while back and hopefully those are all gone by now. Definitely worth the price with the batts though, the price difference is about half of what one batt alone would normally cost.

Does it require a learning session like most Voice activated systems? Like reading Mark Twain because it contains most spoken words?
Nope. Right out of the box, it'll recognize your voice. The glitchiness is more a case of odd commands like power high or power low (power up would make sense, right? And power down, too).

I being a Technophile has to think it has a learning curve and starts to learn your commands. How long have you had it and use it is it getting better?

There really isn't much of a learning curve, it understood my voice commands right away. The only learning curve, like Shawn mentioned, is just using the proper phrasing for the commands. I tried using different accents and it worked for the most part, it may not work if you have a really, really thick accent. I'm from Texas, so I do have a bit of an accent, but it responded right away with no problems. The deal is, there just isn't a lot of commands or adjustments that are voice controlled. In the future, voice control can be more useful once they expand the voice recognized capabilities. Right now, it's just fun to tinker with than it is useful, but the mod/kit itself is really nice in the old fashioned manual mode.

I've had it about two weeks, but with my collection, it doesn't get that much use...
