THESE VENDORS / MANUFACTURERS ARE PUTTING THE FUTURE OF VAPING AS WE KNOW IT IN DANGER.

Many must know what they are doing is at least morally wrong if not outright illegal.

You will notice that you most likely have never even heard of a lot of these manufacturers names.
You will also notice names that you would never expect to be on a product.

If these manufacturers were 100% certain that these products were not going to be a problem then why didn't many bother to put their actual company name on the label?

It almost seems as if they know they are going to get shut down but are too greedy to care.
Some even make what IMO is "shell companies" like "One Mad Hit" (One Hit Wonder / MadHatter colab "JuiceBox Eliquid") so as soon as the money comes in to "OneMadHit" it could be funneled out into the two vendors accounts for when the FDA decided to shut them down and confiscate assets / product.

That doesn't sound like a company that stands behind their product or the vaping community, does it?

I would like to suggest a boycott on EACH and EVERY E-liquid manufacturer on this list.

40 Million Adult Smokers and the millions of Adult Ex-smoking vapers need different flavors to quit and/or stay off of cigarettes for good

These companies are putting the lives of 45,000,000 Americans in jepordy.

FOR A LITTLE FUCKING MONEY

Post one of ? (list starts in next post)

Vape shops ID people, though. I got ID’d last night when I picked up some juice and I’m 30 years old, lol! Are these kids stealing their parents credit cards and ordering vape juice? Lmao. Parents need to take better care of their kids. IMO, this has nothing to do with these companies.

This has EVERYTHING to do with these companies and absolutely nothing to do with ID, parents, kids, or credit cards.

These eliquid brands look EXACTLY like food products that are sold here (to children).

As a matter of fact most look so closely to the food product's design and logo that it's called infringement.

That is a crime here.

Shady fuckers who steal logos, designs, and trademarked images to sell something quickly before the FDA deeming Regulations kick in so they can make a fast buck then get out.

The problem is that the eliquid vaping industry is only as honest and "good" as their most shadyest, scumbag, dirtbag, weasel vendor.

So the FDA looks at all of us as if we were acting like these manufacturers above and next thing you know the only legal flavors on the market will be tobacco, menthol, mint, and wintergreen. If you are lucky.

If you look closely at "food product" (they have the trademark on the images and logo's on the products) and "eliquid" (Stolen designs, logo's images, etc...) you will clearly see the imaging is strikingly similar.

If an eliquid maker needs to exploit another product to sell theirs than the juice usually tastes like shit

Who wouldn't rather have bangin' juice in a plain bottle instead of utter shit in a fancy package?

Dude, seeing them side by side like that is wild. I personally never put much thought into the packaging as I tend to be numb to that kind of stuff but the cute packaging at this point needs to stop across the board if for no other reason than to save face and eliquid manufacturers need to start being a little more community conscious.

I am going to kick this PSA into gear and start sending emails to the vendors on this list as well as look through my juice stash and contact any other that looks cute or commercial and let them know they are actively committing murder/suicide of the vape communities future. Maybe a strong coordinated email and calling campaign will let some of these people know we are watching and if a boycott is merited we must be steadfast and committed.

Maybe a coordinated effort coming from a lot of people will get these companies at attention. Below is a draft, lets get our message out and start annoying people.

Dear XXXX,

I am writing you today to discuss the packaging of your product. As an advocate for vaping and the future of its existence, I feel it is necessary to bring to your attention that the packaging of your e-liquids and marketing strategies are irresponsible for the time we live in with impending regulations and an FDA that wants vaping eliminated, we in the vaping community who will be most affected by these regulations feel it is absolutely necessary to stop using childish labeling and blatant copyright infringements however vague. We are asking you plainly to stop giving regulators the ammunition they want to destroy the vaping industry as we know it.

If you truly care for the vaping community that you serve and profit from, a bit of social responsibility is not beyond the realm of reason to ensure you have a market to sell to in the coming years. As you are aware the FDA is cracking down on vape shops, vendors, manufacturers and the impending regulations of laws now on the book are far reaching and affect many more people than yourself. You have a responsibility as a product manufacturer to do everything you can if for no other reason than self preservation, preservation of the vape stores that sell your products and preservation of the lifeline for so many who have used vaping to quit smoking, are now beginning to use vaping as a means to quit smoking and guarantee an opportunity of those in the future who who will use it to quit smoking.

We in the vaping community are writing to let you know that if you do not cease product packaging and marketing strategies that can be considered enticing to children and other blatant copyright infringements, we the vaping community will be the ones to put you out of business long before the impending regulations through boycotting your products, the products of your shell companies and we will not protect you or patron your vendors who will in turn drop your products for those of companies who do wish to see a future for vaping.

We are asking politely for now that you begin making arrangements to fix product packaging for future runs as your present product stock runs out and we want you to do this visibly so we and the watching enemies of vaping know that you are making changes to be more socially responsible and want to exist beyond 2022. We will be watching with some patience for now so you have time to make arrangements, but should you decide to ignore our calls to action we will collectively see to it that your product sales decline and it breaks you financially. This is not a position any of us want to have to take, or a call to action any of us wanted to have to be a part of but this is the position we are in and we all have to adapt or there is no future for vaping.

These are the products which need to be addressed from our opinion:
****Insert childish labels and copyright infringement products here.****

We do wish you the best and do very much hope that you hear our voice on this matter. If you have any questions, or wish to speak on this matter please reach out. We will be sharing your comments or lack thereof and making decisions as a community on whom we wish to patron since we as responsible members of the vaping world want to ensure it has a future.

Regards,
XXXXXXX

Maybe we need a section on the forum somewhere so we can organize and campaign against some of these companies who are harmful to our vaping futures as well as a place to champion for those who are doing what is "right" (more specifically what is necessary to survive).

I think that these companies targeting children in advertising don't give a shit if we wish them well. Their thought is to sell sell sell, with no moral concern to us or anyone else so why have any concern for them.

Just give me what I like in a plain 'ol wrapper. It gets moved to amber anyways. Could pass savings of packaging costs to me. Or make the company more profitable - instead of trying to be appealing to underage. I don't DIY. I pay for the juice and could care less about the label/packaging, unless it targets or is purposely imitative of products used by those not mature enough to make an adult decision, or even copies some other product. That type of copycat marketing turns me away from what ever the product is, and the likes of which I don't buy.

I like apple juice. And nilla wafers. And grape soda. And candy, from time to time. I'm 50 years old.

Maybe those companies are marketing to adults?

Sorry, I can't be involved in a censorship campaign. I'll protest the FDA and their censorship. Adults like stuff too, it's not just kids. Besides, I was always attracted to adult advertising when I was young. Anything with a half neked woman always caught my attention.

Fighting the Nanny State by becoming a nanny doesn't make much sense.

It's still not an FDA ISSUE, It's always been FTC - infringements.

Being aware of what they are doing with the packaging is only the concern of buyers or the copied-companies.

Meanwhile, the FDA has an agenda - and, it seems - so do the thousands of vendors, online &| B&M's, manufacturers and suppliers that don't want to finance a suit against the FDA. <shrug> Let it all burn. I don't own a store, but I'll take the same line they do.

That all said: the Advocacy Groups are there to leech as well - good luck.

The reality is companies should be able to put a baby smoking a b*ng, with a h*roin needle sticking out of its neck on the label if they want to and let the market dictate whether its right. There are many folds to this shit show and until the core issue is resolved (police state tyrants) nothing else matters. In the interim sometimes you have to take a hit, and in this case its childish labeling that is blatantly ripping off brand trademarks. If I had to guess companies are not bothering to sue any more than they have because they know these companies will be regulated out of existence from sitting idle with two thumbs in their asses.

Ive seen companies get hopeless and complacent, near the edge of collapse and the right person/people say something and they get that jolt of energy to grow a pair and get moving to save themselves. I make 95% of my own juice and at the end of the day as long as I can cobble up the ingredients to make my own, I could give a shit about commercial juices.

This is divide and conquer. They will take apart vaping one piece at a time until we have nothing left but batteries in our hand and we are f***basing trash on tin foil, that or whatever they decide we should have. I have enough vape shit to last me a lifetime and am creative enough i could manage to make it work if it became completely outlawed.

I don't want to have to do that though. I like being able to get shit online and regularly with little effort and without having to run the equivalent of a m*th lab to conjure up liquids. Its part of what makes all of this enjoyable. Easy access to a ton of options.

If writing a few emails and making a few phone calls does anything positive it is worth it my opinion. I do it for guns, free speech, and everything else I care about. I boycott Dicks for their liberal stances, Starbucks for their same positions, Google for their insane policies, Facebook, Walmart and so on. Boycotting products is a good way to get your point across. Look at the NFL, no more kneeling. Sometimes a swift kick in the ass is required.

That sort of "freedom" has not been around for.. (thinking over ancient ads).. I'd say even pre civil-war.

And, such ads are distasteful and offensive - so I'd avoid it. MEANWHILE, the issue discussed remains "copying existing artwork/packaging".. Doesn't matter if yer selling fake whip-cream, c*caine or nuclear-waste: it's not an FDA issue, it's an FTC issue.

That said, it just doesn't fucking matter: the FDA has an agenda - driven by a few senators and pharam and BT - and it's just a BS excuse. <shrug> I don't see the manfac/distro/vendor/B&M/online ponying-up to fight the FDA, nor do I see them all policing themselves. Nope. I see Advocates that want to push Legislation - with a dozen riders never mentioned - that will merely cement their positions and continue to rape their customers.

Police yourselves, people.

I do not disagree with your position at all, I disagree in the desire to do nothing, even if futile. The copyright infringement is not FDA, but the "marketing shit to children" argument is, which most product packing is geared towards to get their attention. This is all part of a larger societal issue of people unwilling to police themselves. Its too easy to let someone else be responsible for the outcome of shitty parenting and apathetic people and therein we see freedoms to make our own decisions erode.

I personally would not buy the product with the label I described but it doesnt mean the maker of said product shoudlnt have the right to make it, and they wouldnt for very long because no one would buy it. Good old free market capitalism at work.

I am going to send some emails, make some phone calls and if vaping in the US goes the way of the buffalo, I guess it is what it is. Im good with wood and can run a metal lathe/milling machine so Im set there if it comes down to it. I just like how easy everything is now and would like to ensure other people have an opportunity to quit smoking and use vaping instead.

In four years or so the folks in places where it is still legal will be showing off their cool shit and we will be using whatever doesnt get seized by customs, if anyone will even try shipping here. If the industry is too stupid or expects some knight in shining armor to come and rescue them, then they will get whats coming to them and everyone else will just be shit out of luck. Wouldnt be the first time something like this has happened.

That is correct.

In the interim sometimes you have to take a hit,

No. Taking hits is what got us into this nanny state mess. "Progressive" is a word with meaning.

If I had to guess companies are not bothering to sue any more than they have because they know these companies will be regulated out of existence from sitting idle with two thumbs in their asses.

I think they don't sue because they can't win. Go to the cereal isle in the grocery store. On the bottom shelf(usually) there are big ass bags of knock off cereals with similar names and marketing. Nobody is having fits about Toasty O's being the almost the same as Cheerio's. If General Mills could sue the makers of Toasty O's, they would.

This is divide and conquer.

It is. Vapors are attacking vaping business'. The enemy is the FDA. Joining the FDA to attack vaping is not a good way to defeat the FDA. It gives the FDA credibility. "Policing ourselves" has been a mantra on this forum for as long as the forum has existed under the assumption that if we do it, the FDA will not. But the FDA is, despite those efforts. And, the FDA will.

If writing a few emails and making a few phone calls does anything positive it is worth it my opinion.

Absolutely. But I choose to focus on the core problem, the FDA and Nanny State regulation as a whole. Putting blame on vaping companies and taking a hit is counter productive. I'm not going to sacrifice my core values to save vaping under the terms of the FDA.

To each his own. ;)

@Time nor under the terms of these "advocates" and the never-ending scare-tactics.

There are two paths, and one is not being followed - the other is a huge issue I refuse to consider until "too late" comes along.

Yes, I need to budget primers this month.

If the fucking vendor/distro block refuses to do our "representation", then goddamned vapers need to know and see it. (I have friends in the biz, and I know the dollars involved). Asking my broke-ass to cover for THEM is wrong, and I won't fault anyone for trying to play the politics-game.. I just know the latter will have no results.

OK, I too rarely mention: I was a smoker and sympathize with smokers. I don't suffer DICKWEEDS that literally think "clouds bro" and blow plumes of goddamned cigar and clove smoke, but still..

For many years we smokers played the game; the cloves and cigars were off-puting; the fucking LEFT would pretend to cough in well-ventilated restaurants and.. *POOF!* no more smokers.. So, yeah.. play yer games people. Good luck with that shit.

I'll be vaping until I am arrested. I bother the fewest possible, and my tolerance gets thinner the older I get.

Yup. As smokers, we gave an inch. They took a mile.

Same same.

Give an inch to these anti vaping fucks and they will take a mile. If we attack our own, in the name of "policing ourselves", they will use it against us.

Ok, I can agree with the infringement part. I do see a problem with stealing logos and designs from other companies.
