Does anybody use .2 ribbon? Fralien/framed staple

I have used .3, .4, and .5 for a few different builds. I was watching n.devine83's razorback video on YouTube and he was using .2 ribbon for it. Then I got to thinking about using .2 for really wide framed Staples and fraliens. I thought it made sense because the smaller ribbon should cool down faster and ect. However I heard n.devine say that .2 has a reputation as a bad vape. So do any of you guys have experience with .2 for builds with ribbon cores? I may want to make a razorback fralien in the future, but for now I only use ribbon for the core.

i have been testing out some smaller staple and framed staple variants on .2 lately. i have not done a ton of builds with it yet, but my first impression is that its better for making small coils. i tried a pretty wide, low resistance build and its kinda mellow compared to .3 or .4 (not hot enough for me or osmething). then i tried a build that i normally do in .3 and 28, but with .2 and 32. its very small and higher resistance, but it works great in a smaller atomizer/lower power. most of my experiments with it have mostly gone in that direction since, and i have been using the builds on things like shorty/22mm/single coil/flavor-banger atomizers, or single battery mechanical squonkers, where battery life is a key element of the build. imo they really shine here.

Oh okay. Thanks. Ever alien wrap one? I figured it might help with cooler builds. I noticed that using the same build(2x28g + 8x.3) if I alien wrap it, I can use it with way lower wattages and get about the same vape as if I clapton wrapped it with higher wattage.
So for the "bad vape" reputation .2 has, do you agree? Or do you think most people are into super low builds and it isn't a hot enough vape?
I think I'm gonna get some and try a 12 ply alien fs

I've used 0.2 on a few different occasions and like it. I prefer the higher resistance you can get with it.

i think the build i posted here was the highest powered one (but not the widest, i cant find that one/may not have posted it here) i have tried. it was pretty great in there, but its just a bit mellow for me at that voltage. here is a post with a smaller set i made for a 22mm shorty atomizer that is giving me a better vape. of course 'better' is subjective. the smaller one is a bit warmer overall, likely just due to the atomizers/airflow (elite gen II vs royal hunter mini).

i wouldnt call it a 'bad vape' at all, it just has a time/place/ideal use. i dont think its as good as .3 or .4 for going low resistance. its medium/good on unregulated series, but not as hot as my regular alien builds...and i really like it for single battery mechs and small atomizers.
