I have a paranormal and I am building 3 core (26 g ssl316) fused (40g ni80) clapton coils. I like the flavor better on the Ni80 wire for sweetness and the SSl for temp control (replay). I was wondering.. when I input my build in wire wizard are the values on TFR download for the combo of wires if I list for SSL on drop down or do I need to use something else or does it work at all for this wire combo??

complete newbie on this so thank you in advance!!
woops I guess I should have posted this in the new builders section sorry!!

Use a TFR based on the material of the conducting/heating wire of the build.. Ie whichever component wire is shortest or has low ohm rate.

Replay works as long as the majority of your wire is temperature controllable - you can pretend there's no N80 at all if it's just 40g clapton

Have you tried it without downloading anything and it did not work?

I have this coil build in replay and it works mostly, just not as accurate as it would be with regular temp control ( as expected). Tomorrow I will wrap up a 4 core 28g ssl with the 40g Ni80 fuse and see if that works better with a little more SSL.. and take some pics so that this post looks a little like it belongs in this section lol!! Also I would assume that the TFR values are just for the conducting wire and does not include the Ni80 combined with it?
thank you all for your input

The TFR really does only applies to to the conducting or actually heating wire..
Problem with wrapped conductor wire builds. Is that the wrap adds static or interference to the mix.

That is where the voodoo comes in.

My suggestion setup your mod as close as you can to what ever TFR or TCR ypu think applies... then CLOSE your eyes and fine tune the adjustments using the other senses.... unless building for clouds you eye will lie.... and scientific perfection doesn't matter if the vape is good.
