Where are you getting condensation, and which RTAs is it happening to?

To reduce moisture you can increase heat. Increase airflow. Or blow through the atty once in a while. Too clear it..
Careful this can cause leakage if done wrong.

Or just clean the drip tip and cap.

Or go with smaller less bumpy coil.

Do a clearing draw.. couple puffs without firing.

Hmm, I also have a Bravo and I use mine daily. The Bravo is one of my favorite dual coil RTAs! I've never had any condensation on mine, or at least not enough to cause problems.

Not wanting to hijack this, but I’ve always gotten condensation on my AFC ring. I figured it’s because I’m usually cutting my RTA’s airflow down by 1/2-3/4 and that allowed the condensation to build up on the inside of the AFC and subsequently out onto the exterior. Is this typical or do many of you have little to no condensation on a closed down AFC. So many things like this are hard to get a measure of “normal”. Thanks

Yes! That's why I want him to post a pic showing us exactly what he's talking about. It's tough to say if it's normal or excessive until seeing it. I'm imagining it's a lot since it's enough for him to be concerned about it

Cotton after a day as well is that normal
Cotton looks normal.

I've had this problem a lot myself. It's usually more of an issue on atties that use a 510 drip tip. I've never been able to enjoy highly regarded tanks like the Aromamizer Supreme and Boreas because of this. With some tanks if you want good flavor you have to deal with wiping out the drip tip every few puffs.

That doesn't mean there isn't hope. There are others in this thread that use the Bravo without issue. Try changing up your coil positioning. Also, make sure you don't have any cotton touching the airflow holes under the coils. If you have air brushing directly against fully saturated cotton, it's gonna pull juice off of it and straight up the chimney. Just get it good and wet, then use some tweezers to gently push it off of the air intake. There doesn't have to be much space, you just don't want it touching. I hope that made sense.

Good luck!

A lot of that condensation is likely from not clearing your hit after letting off the button. Give this a try, it cost you nothing and I promise it will make an improvement on the amount of condensation build up. I used to be really bad with this and with some easy retraining it cut it down tremendously. YMMV, but it is worth a shot.

Your cotton can easily look like it does depending on the juice. That is not bad really.

I didn't know that helped to minimize condensation. I've been doing that for years, though, so that could explain why I haven't had any issues with condensation. I started doing it solely to cool off the coils after being fired. One reason is so they wouldn't singe the cotton, in case it was getting dry after taking a puff. The second reason was so the coils wouldn't keep vaporizing liquid after I had finished my puff.

@Vaperclouds89 As others have already said, your cotton looks fine from what can be seen. I can't tell, but that almost looks like e-liquid in your drip tip hole and chimney. If it is, that could be caused by the cotton in your wicking channels being too thin. When I think of condensation, I think of the little moisture droplets that are occasionally in my drip tip.

Currently running mine at only 70 watts with a .15 build in it. What's the resistance of the build you're running at 100 watts?

Here's the condensation in the drip tip of my Intake RTA

I second this idea. Good call jwill! I do the same thing but not to help condensation but to cool the coil(s) after a hit to help prevent the cotton from frying. Ha ha, explains why I don't have condensation issues. :D

Oh wow, I literally just posted the same thing. I hadn't made it down this far in the thread before I quoted jwill. :giggle:

I cant take credit for this. I learned it from the generosity of others sharing for the benefit of others, it fixed it for me except for when I blow down into the atty before taking a hit. I still dont know why I like to do this on certain atty's, when I do I end up with a wet beard.

Always good when knowledge is passed on man. A little trick I've incidentally learned is keeping a rolled up piece of paper towel in the drip tip. Initially I started doing this because we get flying ants over the winter and they like to hover over my mods due to the sweet scent. So I I kept them out by using a rolled up paper towel. That paper towel would come out moist from the condensation build up and I would change it as needed. Never thought I was preventing a condensation build up.
