satellitesI have to do figuring on what I need to build a porch over the big cistern on the fire scorched end of the house.
going to be metal roof. Only going with metal roofs from here on out.
Blocks the mind controls rays from the government satellites :)
Metal roofs are all we have, for the house and all the outbuildings. The downside is they also block radio waves. I can't see myself standing out in the rain to listen to the weather radio.

Blocking some radio waves might be a good thing since I am only about 200 yards from a cell tower.
Radio beside window should still work.

Not when the closest transmitter is at least 45 miles away. The antenna has to be high enough to compensate for the curvature of the Earth, and to try to pick up signals blocked by other buildings.

Just a really heavy dew?
Speaking of dew, I found something you and Phillip could use.

OK, so it's Friday and not one old phart has posted on here yet. Where are ya all hiding?

You know all that BS about weather we talked about last night? And I said it was cloudy just before bedtime even though the forecast was for clear? Well, I checked the doppler before logging off and it showed not one cloud in the entire state. Well, OK, doppler does not show clouds; it shows the moisture content (rain or potential rain) within any clouds that might be there. Therefore, according to that moving map, there was not a raindrop anywhere in my state or eastern Wyoming, eastern Montana, etc. But when we got up this morning, everything was wet. Yes, it rained quite a bit from that "clear sky" and "zero precipitation echoes." I'm guessing they had a computer glitch but just didn't care (Hey, who cares if your silly cows get wet?).

Sigh.
lmao....evening Pholkz........:vino:

It is not "radio waves" (i.e., standard radio frequency) to be concerned about near a cell tower, but microwave radiation. That's the frequency cell phones operate on and it has been proven to cause brain misfires (bad thinking) and brain tumors. Would you stick your head in your microwave oven? That's pretty much what you are doing when standing within 1000 feet of any cell phone tower and not being shielded. Sucks. And there is proof. But cell phones are too popular and too profitable, so all this is deliberately withheld from public knowledge.

Our country would collapse and there would be mass suicides and such if cell phones stopped working.
The addiction is massive.

Micro waves are just really high frequency radio waves. All just em radiation.
whether produced by Klystrons or magnetrons or just solid state circuits as in cell phones.

And not disputing that they have a negative impact on hooman beans.

Hey, Dale!
Damn, it was one HOT sob today - like you could just slice the humidity......
Humidity up in the 70s here today, and temp in the 80s (supposed to be 95 tomorrow). I spent a good deal of my day lying on the shop floor with a 15/16th box wrench and a hammer wanging on the nuts that hold the blades on my mowers. Nice big bruise on my forearm when I slipped and hit myself. Damn! Anyway, got the blades on the CubCadet and TroyBilt changed to super mulchers, cleaned the scuz off the decks, and filled tires with green slime. Due to my shoulder problem, this whole thing was really difficult and painful and I have to admit to feeling rather insufficient in my old age. If there is a cuss word known to mankind, I am sure I used it several times while in the shop today and at elevated volume. I have no doubt the coyotes several miles from here heard me and will be afraid to come anywhere near here for weeks,

You don't hear much about microwave radiation, much like other things us commoners don't know about... curing cancer, etc....other things we shouldn't know anything about.... TOP SECRET.....

Things of that nature are just for the elite phokz

Did you every get to read that 60-page document I wrote about EMR and its effects on the human body? Crom made a copy for Jimi. Did it go to anyone else? It tells a lot of those "secrets."

Yep but you also have to consider Video games and the slime oozing from your TV set.
it is destined to rule and regulate you.
Oh indeed, there is nothing on any TV station which interests me. I'd rather just shoot the shit with other common folks right here who have their heads screwed on straight....then go to bed.

Work eat sleep.......and enjoy it.

Not so sure mine is screwed on straight. I keep popping my neck to adjust it.

FM radio travels line of sight, so what you say is mostly true, although I am 75 miles from the nearest FM radio transmitters and can get the signal from a radio inside the house but sitting in front of a window that faces toward those radio stations. If, however, you are willing to listen to AM, it bounces off the atmosphere and can usually be received hundreds of miles from the station (with the proper atmospheric conditions, I have received CB transmissions from 1000 miles away).

We get one English speaking am station. They play country music and highschool football games. They care nothing about weather.

The only place the weather radio works is outside. I wish they would use a better voice than Stephen Hawking for it.

I don't even listen to the radio anymore....must be turning into a really grumpy old phart, can't take the fucking 10 minutes of commercials every time a song ends.
Perhaps I'm turning into Get Off MY Lawn, Bob... :cuss2:
Yep. I listen to my CDs when driving. If I don't want to listen to them, I jack in my flash drive loaded with downloaded music, and a couple tunes I created on the computer. I hate commercials.

I didn't see it...no
Do you want me to send you a copy? Can you read PDF files? Crom made Jimi a CD with all my Path to Health newsletters and, I think, the EMR doc. He might have sent that to Lucy too. But I can e-mail you a PDF (too many pictures to just PM it).

Wonder if there is anything we can do to help him get his computer running again....
I was going to ask him that exact question....I hope so...it's a bitch when all the information one needs is now online, instead of at the library. Although it's much faster to grab the info needed by pecking a few words in a search bar.
