Yup. Also mixed with receipts, mail, many colored markers, my day book, a huge calendar, menus, sketchbooks, stickers.....it’s also my “office”for the restaurant because there’s no office at the restaurant.
And I love the kitchen utensils hanging there.....classic!

A lot of my mess ended when I got a smartphone; I keep my recipes on Ecigvape.com so now I can do my updates either at my PC or on my phone, then just bring my phone into the kitchen, thus saving entire forests of trees. :D Pretty much everything I do is online, so the smartphone is a real godsend! Though unlike millennials, I'm not glued to social media 24/7. :D

And I HAVE to hang my utensils, they don't make drawers big enough for all my kitchen stuff! :giggle:

I really want to try it as well chefs got a load of process pics in the modifications section I used to watch it when he was posting stuff up

Wonder how it’ll look on a coppervape (they do a copper one don’t they?)
I think it's brass but brass patinas as well.

Getting tired of messing with,

coils
building rdas
making juice
wicking
mod maintenance
troubleshooting when something isn't hitting the way you want it to
finding the perfect airflow
blah blah blah...

I've been vaping for about 6 years and there's always something to mess with.

I just want something that works how it should 100% of the time. Couple days ago, I didn't feel like messing with anything so I just grabbed the Myblu pod and vaped that for a few hours. That's saying something considering i'm by no means a mtl vapor.

/end rant

Sounds like when something you used to enjoy becomes a chore. Like marriage, kids and work. Might need a night on the town with your favorite mod, juice and coil combo to reignite the passion. I go through this with almost everything in my life. Sometimes you want to hug it and other times throw it through a window. Slumps dude, they suck.

A new hobby something to cut your teeth on, after 6 years you’ve probably done most of it but I’m sure there’s something you’ve not done yet?

If all else fails visit the political threads and lob a grenade in ...that’ll get the blood pumping :giggle:

Talk about Black Holes...it'll suck the life out of you!

I think most of us can align to what jwill said at one point or another, I certainly have slumps

what I was getting at earlier (joking aside with the political threads) was it might help to try something new or engage in activities or areas you don’t nornally engage in just to change things up a bit.

Had ones of those slumps at the weekend so started looking into the goings on of big tobacco ...might be an interesting topic to someone out there but ultimately I quite enjoyed doing it more than I thought I would, at least it took away the drudgery of clearing spam for a while and adds something to the mix of things I and others who are interested can dip in and out of

Not saying something like this is the answer though just an option

Well, here's the best reason of all to LOVE vaping, no matter how troublesome:

And hence why I've always used disposable coils.
I've never fiddled with anything, I just vape.
If you think you're getting THAT much better tasting liquid because you build, you're just fooling yourself.

It's definitely a different vape. I'll stand by that along with others I'm sure. More flavor. Most time to me stock coils are a dry vape. I don't want anymore cotton mouth than vaping already gives me.

The Kanger? What's your build?
Yea I've got a .3 in the rba so you can get decent without the mod getting warm. Still good air for that one.

That's what lots of hobbyists say. I'm not convinced.

I think most of that "more flavor" is hooey brought about by the expectation that it will be better. The same effect as what's in this experiment.

A coil that you built yourself and are proud of is going to taste better, to you.

Just like the vegetables I grow in my garden taste better than any vegetables I buy. They really don't. But I think they do. I put all that work into it, damn it. :giggle:

I’m with @Wtmke1 and @Mykreign on this one. I still use sub tanks daily. I also have just started using rdas and squonkers daily. Definitely a very different vape. Not at all knocking factory coils....I use them, I like the ease of them but.....the rdas are better for flavor. Yes, I am a hobbyist, but not at coils.....more at diy juice by far.

Oh yea I use factory coils daily as well. Guess I should have said that. But instead of maybe better how about more moist. And a different warm up

I bought a sub ohm tank a couple months ago for the same reason as this thread. Tried a few coils and every one was the same. Left my mouth and throat so dry.

Factory coils might be ok for low wattage but for 70+ it did not work for me at all.

Ahhhhh.....I vape around 35-50 tops. I can see factory coils not working as well for that wattage. I usually bring my sub tanks to work....easy peasy if I need to change out a coil....I have no office to fiddle with coils/cotton. The rdas live at home for all the fun fiddling.:)

Sorry guys. There is years and years worth of empirical evidence through blind testing that taste is relevant to what one "believes" rather than actual taste.

Not to be rude, but I think it's all in your heads. Like the cake. And coke vs pepsi. and the vodka tests. wine tests, ETC ETC ETC.

It would be fun to do blind tests.............

But more than that, the study says something fascinating about how we perceive the world around us: that visual cues can effectively override our senses of taste and smell (which are, of course, pretty much the same thing.)

Kind of.
I am 100% DIY but only do 4 mixes.
I only do 2 RTA's and 1 RSA on a daily basis and use only 2 differnet coils in all of them.
Have only been using 2 different models of mods for a few months now.
I only do 18650 mods and am really not interested in any new mods or tanks or drippers.

But I still vape on around 100 ml or so a week.
Just that the trying new stuff and wanting the latest and greatest has run it's course with me after over 3 years.

Need to go thru my flavorings in the fridge and piff out most all of them.
Already piffed out all my tanks except for 3 models.
Serpent RTA, Subtank Mini V2 with RBA and Origional Merlin RTA. I do have several of each of those though with spare parts too.

Perhaps you are right. I’m definitely not ruling it out.

What I do know is my own experience. When I first started out, I didn’t do a huge amount of research. I just bought what I could afford.....all sub tanks. Kanger, Innokin, Cobra, Aspire, Veco, Asmodus, Smok.....anything I could get my hands on. I would try the same juice in all the tanks to see what tasted best. There was a huge difference between tanks/coils. When I started building, I tried the same juice in the rdas. There was a difference.....or at least I perceived a difference. The juice was more vibrant in a rda. I wasnt married to the idea of rdas at all at this point....I was just trying to find a better way to taste new recipes and it seemed easier than wasting a coil. Again, I am not a vaping or coil expert in the slightest....I just know what I tasted. There are a few factory coils that rival rdas(OG Herakles, OG Crown, Cobra) IMO. But for price and ease of trying experimental recipes, rdas blow factory coils away. Just my two cents.

And I agree, it would be fun to try blind tests!

As far as getting tired of the maintenance on my gear, not a problem. I enjoy doing it and proud of my high end shit.
I'm single and live stress free and no one around bitching at me 24/7 about my hobbies.
Nothing better than relaxing on a nice day outside with a stiff drink and a good juice in an RDA/RSA.

I can tell the difference in coke and Pepsi also. Coke has way more carbonation and a sweeter flavor. But you know he may be right. I can't argue with science. Or Bill Nye. Lol

I still use the BBB tank once in a while. Factory coil good flavor but using th RBA head in it, much better.
And it's not because of some bullshit theory.
It's because of the way it's built.

Presently have too much going on to be a hobbyist, with my employer closing down. Leaves me with factory coils.

The least finicky setup I have is an Arco 2 coil in a tfv8 cloud beast. Does not have world beating flavor, but- does not leak, does not spit, no juice condensation under the drip tip, and the coils last 3-4 weeks at 10 ml/day. I set it to 84 w, and live with it.

Coils for the big Firelukes don't last as long but have better flavor. They do take more fiddling. The og Fireluke Mesh coils do have flavor and longevity, I just find the Horizon coils more relaxed.

Some of the Uwell and Sense stuff works well too for no fuss. My Uwell se-1, a cross between a Rafale and Crown 2, is excellent- but I got tired of hunting for 4th version Crown 2 coils with dual yellow o-rings. Not sure if Crown 3 vapes the same- don't have one.

There's something about a stainless 316 coil that tastes a little cleaner to me. Maybe I will get a Crown 3- those tanks and coils aren't going away any time soon.

wow, that is impressive. I don't even let my rayon wick go more than 100ml anymore personally but that is mostly because I mix 100ml batches and re-wick when I was my squonk to change juice. diy juice or store bought? Either way, it is impressive enough you got me considering one of those tank/coil combos just so my non squonk dual and triple battery mods can come out of storage.

You think Coke is sweeter than Pepsi????? To me, it's bitter as shit, tastes like some kind of medicine. I prefer Pepsi any day of the week, and I also preferred "new" coke, because it didn't have that medicinal bitterness.

Besides producing the coca flavoring agent for Coca-Cola, the Stepan Company extracts c*caine from the coca leaves, which it sells to Mallinckrodt, a St. Louis, Missouri, pharmaceutical manufacturer that is the only company in the United States licensed to purify c*caine for medicinal use.
