Which is better for flavour?
Looking for other's opinions who have tried both.

Not looking for other rdas, just tied to these two rdas because
1. it's in my price range 2. i like the style

Everyone has their own vape style. If you want honest opinions for
Comparison it’s usually best to describe how you like to vape and what you normally use, now.

Rabbit. Build where you see the bottom of your Coils through your AF holes.

Check this out, I actually like my recurve better. I know there apples to oranges but I'm usually vaping dual coil. The recurve has the best flavor I've had. I think it's better than the haku clone, or the sxk hadaly. Much better than the wasp. I fucking hate plastic caps.

Get yourself a recurve. Your want dense FLAVOR packed vape, get yourself some small or medium small framed Staples in that bitch. You'll thank me. They even come with halfway decent looking coils. They just don't use good wire and you can tell because they degrade faster than my coils.

Have you ever tried the drop rda? If yes, how is it compared to recurve?

my bonza's negative block came loose and won't stay tightened up. my 2 x DR clones are older and work great, as does the authentic DR SQ.

i never comment on flavor, my taste buds ain't very picky/refined. I haven't vaped the bonza in many (6-8?) months as I noticed the wonky negative block the first re-wire and shelved it so I can't really remember how it compares even if I had better taste buds. I assume I got an rda from a bad batch (i bought it shortly after it came out) as I havent seen many other reports of loose negative blocks/screws but it was enough to put me off ever buying any other rda (at lease from vandy vape) that doesn't have a milled in negative block.

I have tried both , both have good and bad qualities , the Bonza being the easier to set up , the Rabbit is a bit more finicky to set up . I found both to be good , as long as you set them up right . It's all in the set up . Both have sweet spots . I have found both to deliver good flavor as long as the set up was right . It takes a bit to find that sweet spot on both like any other atty but once you do, the time you spent on it becomes worth it . Hope this helps ...

As long as the coils are set at the correct height, the Dead Rabbit provides great flavor! Coil placement in the Dead Rabbit is very important! While experimenting with my DR when I first got it, I put builds in that gave very muted flavor. Just place the coils to the outside and higher up, so you can see the bottom when looking through the airflow, and you'll get great flavor

In my opinion I think the Drop has more airflow over the Drop Dead with air flow wide open. Both provide stellar taste though.

IF the Dead Rabbit is built perfectly you can get ok performance with it. The point is you can build any side airflow RDA like you said and get just as good or better performance than the Dead Rabbit. I have atleast 8 RDAs sitting here on my table that have better flavor than the Dead Rabbit.

I wasn't telling you that. I already know all about your feelings towards the DR. I was letting the OP know the best way to build it in case he gets it

Do you think that the drop dead is more similar to the drop instead of the DR flavorwise?

I don't have a Dead Rabbit, but you do realize that you have just pronounced stupidity on not only the designer, but a fairly large number of people who love it right? Unless of course knowledgeable smart people are known for loving "a piece of shit."

I did have a Dead Rabbit and I hated that piece of crap so much I gave it away. Yes whoever designed the Dead Rabbit doesn't know what they're doing. It doesn't work how they say it does. Under a vacuum airflow does not go down and the up. Airflow follows the path of least resistance. If you don't have a Dead Rabbit I suggest you waste your money and get one and then give your opinion on it. I never called anyone stupid. To each their own. Some like it and some don't.

I don't have either but I was looking into getting one or the other (especially with the Bonza V1.5 coming out). From all the reviews and research it seems it goes like this:

Bonza for clouds, DR for flavor.

So I just ordered a DR and a Butcher cap. I'm a sucker for aesthetics and goddamn does that cap look sick. I actually would have preferred the priest cap functionality wise but the butcher one just looks so damn good I went with that one.

I was going to get the dead drop but the aesthetics on the DR are better IMO, I actually prefer the DR posts/airflow, and the butcher cap basically turns it into a different RDA. Much better deal IMO.

Watch vaping with Vic's review on the dead drop. He goes over the flavor on it.

Edit: Butcher/Priest caps are non-adjustable cloud caps. The flavor will suffer a little but from what I've read if you just throw in massive/low ohming coils in there it should balance it out and give on par flavor.

Nice set up, Manny.

Like my Dead Rabbit and my Drop Dead is okay. Will get the Bonza v2 (?) next. Looks like Sam fixed all the issues of the original Bonza.

Loved the first one never had any problems with it.... Ver. 1.5 Is 9mm deep over 7mm on the first one. That’s the best thing about the Bonza it’s hard to over drip it;)

My dripping years are over...... These tanks give me the same flavors as dripping.. with even thicker clouds.

If you think there is an rda that has better flavor than this Reload or The Fatality....your nuts....

I had over (60) RDA'S at one time..... And none under $50 bucks..... The best....

I know Clouds and flavor.....

Well a nice competitor with amazing Squonking flavor is The Stumpy....

And if you can't wick the Dead Rabbit.... keep trying.... Because the Dead Rabbit is amazing !!!!

When wicked right.......

I wasn't making any statements about which RDA's are better or worse, but hinting that his actually giving some useful information would go a lot further than simply declaring a product a piece of garbage and by implication any fans of that product to be fans of garbage.

I was going to engage this fella further about that, but thought better of it.

I'm afraid that simple numbers are going to require my keeping my RDA collection to the sub 50 dollar category

The Dead Rabbit when wicked correctly it's amazing !!!!

That's why I have it married to this mod..... Because in almost (2) months there isn't a drop of anything visible.....nothing.....

And I don't want anything pouring or dripping on my mod .....or my hands

I don't have a Dead Rabbit, but I do love my Bonza. Great flavor, huge simple deck a chimpanzee could build on and buttery smooth airflow. However, the 1.5 version is just around the corner. Which looks to have some key improvements. clocks.jpg
