The legal system is full of problems. It doesn't help that college kids are not required to know how to spell, so lawyers have difficulty with the spelling on their indictment papers. I saw alot of exactly that while on Grand Jury. We would refuse indictments over spelling errors. Many times, the names of the accused were spelled wrong.
