Made this tonight and it doesn’t taste too bad SNV’d.
Still trying to figure out if I like juicy strawberry. It’s really realistic, but tastes like grass (as a friend perfectly described) if it’s too high.

It works really well with other strawberries that taste like candy.

Is anyone familiar with any of the OOOFLAVORS juices? Went to sonic and saw they had a pickle slushee that I had to try and it got me wondering about savory flavors with vaping. First company I run across that even has a Pickle flavor is this OOOFLAVORS and on the same page as the pickle flavoring they had a bacon flavor...I mean, seriously? Is this stuff for real? It’d be hilarious to have someone ask me what I’m doing and I just say “Oh, not much...just vapin’ some bacon” and see the look on their face.

I have the bacon and am struggling to work with it. If I’m remembering correctly, someone has used pickle in a recipe over on elr. OoO has their winners(powdered sugar, creamy milk undertones, marshmallow vanilla, vanilla custard cheesecake) and def some losers, from what I’ve read. I have a bunch that I need to test.....but none of those except bacon.

I've never been big on sweet + savory flavors. Keep my sausage links and pancake syrup seperate please.. One time I tried a Mcgrittle at Mcdonalds. It was like eating sausage/egg/cheese with sweet pancake bread. Gross... I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but its not for me. Apple pie with a slice of cheese on it..*gags*

VG is sweet already. So making it work with bacon, you might have to do the sweet + savory.

Mcgrittles are awesome. Wish they had more of a syrup nugget or something. I don't eat mcds anymore though

Finally had enough ingredients (only sub being I used Donkey Butter rather than CAP-Buttercream because I seem to have lost that flavor) to make the Glas Pound Cake recipe that I found. It’s quite a few flavors to mix but it is freaking awesome...and I’m just using it as S&V...I think the Juicy Lemon rather than a Lemonade flavor did a world of difference, but I’m not tweaking this one a bit...it’s pretty well dead-on as is.

Picked up some of these health cabin flavors from a One Stop DIY win. Mixed some of them up in new recipes.


I am not sure that the Health Cabin flavors are going to be amazing. The Vanilla has a little soap smell to it. I have had this from vanilla flavorings in the past when they were either weak or just sucked. The caramel pear doesn't hand check like a caramel or a pear.

Not sure what is happening, but all of a sudden today all my juices taste overpoweringly strong to me. None of these juices are more than a week old & 1 of them is a recipe I've made many times & have had sitting for weeks at a time without this happening. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? It's very frustrating!

I have had times where everything starts tasting to sweet all the sudden. And times where I don’t like any of my juices for some reason even though they are known recipes to me. It usually passes after a couple of days, but it can be frustrating. I don’t know how common sudden shifts in taste are or why they happen. But I empathize.

Mixed up the other day 60ml of @wildgypsy70 Crack Pie, 60ml of the My Lemon Tart v4 recipe & 30ml of the Krispy Kreme Doughnut that @Howard Hughes posted except I had to use TFA Graham Cracker instead of the CAP Graham Cracker, I hope it works, I finger tasted the TFA Graham Cracker & it tastes real good, here’s hoping it works in the Krispy Kreme recipe.

I’ve heard it was good stuff, but I got that size mainly because I’m still tinkering with different organizational ways of having my flavors setup. The OCD in me reminded me that it would be a helluva lot easier to keep an organization method going if all bottles were of uniformed size (or at least close enough that there wouldn’t be much “wiggle room” in any holes I drilled to place the flavors in), so, I’m only buying those sized bottles from my BCF orders from now on.

Great...I just had to come across a flavor that shares my screen name. Now I have to try to clone it just for general principles that I should be able to make something that has my name on it, but considering I have no clue what the original flavor tastes like, I’ve got no clue on what types of percentages I need to be adding...it also just doesn’t sound all that appealing to me (Vanilla, Ice Cream, Raspberry, and Bubblegum...blah), but I have to give it a shot. Anyone here, by chance, run across this stuff and tried it out so I can know what I need to zero in on for the right flavor and what can fall to the way-side if needed?

Hmmmm....I know what you’re talking about. I might also consider WF sugar cone. It’s a good somewhat neutral cookie type.

Granted I’m still learning on the fly, I’ve heard Cereal 27-Cap can add a grainy texture, not sure about crunchy though and I though I heard chatter about Acetyl Pyrazine-TFA giving a crunchy type of feeling, but I’ve hardly used either of them...just thought maybe someone might see this post and go “Oh, that’s not gonna work, but maybe if they did *such and such* it could work!”

Mixed up some new flavors tonight. Nothing crazy, just getting some basic flavors down that I was chasing a while back. Some strawberry Banana, this one I just haven't nailed down because of the Strawberry, we'll see how it turns out. The second is grape soda, I have grape soda flavoring but it's way too sweet so I added some sour Grape. So far its a great SnV, we'll see how it is over time.

Same here. DIY Flavor Shack makes a good sour grape. I only use it as a highlight in recipes, but it has taken some OK recipes to really good.

Worked on Flavor Organization Shelving System v2.

Made all the holes to fit 30ml bottles and painted it black to match the floating shelves.
Added some cabinet pulls to both sides of it so that I can pick it up and put it down with ease.
Made the depth of the holes shallow enough to read the names of the liquids without pulling them out and staggered the holes to make sure I can read what’s in the front/middle/back without much issue at all.

If this works out well, I’m gonna try splitting my flavors again by type (Fruit/Cereals/Baked Goods & Custards, and Flavor Enhancers/Dampeners) and then alphabetize them (which will be changing each time I make an order from BCF, but thems the breaks).
