so I mix some for him.

But you don't vape what you make and you use what, one Tobacco flavor? Please don't try and sound like you are some kind of expert because you are not trying hundreds of tobaccos to find the perfect for you. All you say over and over, and over is how you vape ONE Flavor at ridiculously high PG. Don't try to tell those of us who spent years on Tobacco Flavors how to do it.

Not to step in the middle here, but in fairness I also say over and over that I only vape caramel. But that's b/c it's my ADV. However I do have a boatload of flavors and recipes I've tried in the past, and retain that knowledge, (as limited as it is), of the things I have tried and done. I say limited b/c there are literally countless flavors, vendors, recipes and ways to mix. So what is 'limited' to one person might be quite experienced to someone else... or what seems like a lot of experience to a person might be "limited" in comparison to someone who specialized in say, trying and researching tobacco flavors, which I know you have done from other posts. I tried maybe 15 tobacco flavors, separately, and then mixed them in various proportions with each other looking for something that appealed. While 15 might sound like a lot to one person, I realize that's nothing compared to how many flavors there are. And none of us truly knows how much experience someone else here has or doesn't have. But to each of us our experience is valid to the extent we have engaged.

We're all just fellow vapers here trying to help each other in whatever ways we might, or share our experiences. It's all good! :) There are no bad intentions here. Everyone's favorite libation on me? :)

Well because of the countless posts from one person that say the same thing over and over and over you kind of know. By their own admission they never made anything except for one that was any good to them. So how can they be advising others on things they don't or can't do? Those who can't do teach?

After many years on the Forms you know who is talking out their ass and who has actual 1st hand experience with things. Yeah I might be jaded but I have learned who is full of shit and who's opinions I value. There are some many who think they know and know nothing. Don't tell tell me about what you read I want to hear what you actually have done. I can watch or read the same shit but i might not believe what you do~! I must experience it for myself to say it is such and such~! Just my fucking OPINIONATED Opinion~!

We all have our moments of patience, and of irritation. And forums in general can be trying. The many ECF refugees here can attest to that, I among them. I got so fed up over there I told the moderator to go fuck herself (or himself, forget which) publicly AND PM'd it just to make sure I wouldn't have to wait to know they saw it. And that's the polite version of what I actually posted.

That said, in the big picture this is all small potatoes, not worth the energy. People will find their way to their own correct answers eventually.

But all your talk about tobacco flavors the other day made me pull out the only one I ever found I could tolerate and added a few drops to my 7ml tank of caramel (which also had a couple drops RY4). Was a nice touch. And think it's time to express a little more Capt Black. Not today, but soon.

PS EDIT: If you ever want to share your favorite tobacco flavors I am still interested. I realize everyone's tastes are different, but I am curious.

I sometimes add some Coconut Cream to a tank of Tobacco it makes it sort of a Tropical Blend~! I find Tobacco to be very versatile when it comes to what I call my Mood Mixes.

Is that tobacco leaves you've expressed, or a tobacco flavoring you found that's good?

OK, so I guess your favorite tobacco flavors will remain a closely guarded family secret. :) Damn.

Sorry I did not realize you were asking about what companies Tobacco Flavorings.

Liquid Barn, Jungle Flavors and DIY Flavor Shack are a few of the ones I use.

Don't mean to be an ass (I really don't), but I am guessing they each have many tobacco flavors. Again, I know just because one person finds a particular flavor appealing doesn't mean another will. Taste buds differ and what tastes like tobacco to one person might taste terrible to another... so it's not like I will run out and buy some (I've gone through so many). But you spent so much time focusing on finding good tobacco flavors (2 years I think you said?) that's really impressive and that's why I ask. If just to make a mental note. But it's cool if you'd prefer not to say. :)

What I was referring to was the search for the closest to a Marlboro Red when I 1st quit smoking. That was until I found flavors I could tolerate then the Rabbit Hole swallowed me up~! But my tastes change like the weather and that is why I have probably 50 open bottles if e-Liquids from retails to DIY.

Wow. That's a lot of variety. I smoked Marlboro reds occasionally many years ago. I am guessing you would have no idea at this point which flavor that was that came closest for you to a Marlboro. (I know I wouldn't remember after all those flavors since...)

If you do a search there was a DIY Tobacco Flavoring once that looked like a Marlboro Box. And there is also many Tobacco Reds out there.

Yes, it was Buck Naked American Tobacco

What a memory! :) That's funny cause the only tobacco flavor I found I liked (with a bit of futzing) was Flavor West American Tobacco.... So I am guessing any "American Tobacco" is probably a Marlboro red approximation, then the flavor varies between vendors. Will keep the Buck Naked one in mind and give it a try sometime. :)

Yeah, tried a few of those (back when), which is how I ended up with Flavor West American Tobacco. But I haven't bought any tobacco flavorings in so long it would be worth it to try a few again. Like you say, they can be nice mixed in with other flavorings, if not not their own-some. :)

You also have to keep in mind the subjective nature of flavors and how what one person thinks is great sucks for others. Good Luck in your quest

OP has been blowing up that other forum with similar posts. Think he is just very unsure of his vaping and is looking for as much general info as possible. He also seems to be hung up on having to have the most powerful set up he can get. More of a status symbol to other vapers I guess. Also posts a lot of RDA questions. Think he is new to vape and seeking his place.

He was banned from that other forum for trolling thank god.

By the way, AndriaD, that Coppervape Caiman rda is due to drop at my house with tomorrows delivery, tracking says, its at the local PO now cooling its heels. 17 days from date of purchase to delivery, that's the fastest delivery time from a china dealer I can ever remember....but then it was on the 24 hour option on 3f. (out the door in 24 hours then languished in china for another week and a half...lol) I'll coil it up the day I get it and let you know how I like it on here.

And Mr "11", you said you had a favorite caramel diy juice you had tinkered up, would you care to share it with us? Love me some good caramel.

I buy all bakery flavoring from TFA so the caramel is DIY. I got giant bottles last time (couple years ago), so haven't been back since and maybe it's changed. But TFA had several caramels. The one I started off with in 2013 was delish, "caramel candy" I think it was. But then the info came out about diketones, and that caramel had those, so I switched to another caramel of theirs, simply called caramel. Not nearly as rich and full, but "good enough for the likes of me." If you don't care about diketones the caramel candy is better.

I find caramel is a nice base to add a few drops of anything to, to the tank, when in the mood. Be it RY4 or Oatmeal Cookie... even Red Licorice. Or a drop of NET. But mostly (95% of the time) it's plain old caramel for me. I wish it tasted like I was eating the soft caramel on caramel apples. The caramel candy was much closer to that experience. This caramel is sort of a compromise between taste and not wanting to vape diketones. :)

PS EDIT: And not that it matters one bit, but I happen to be a woman. :)

I'm still very interested in that! Unfortunately we had a shorter pay period than the usual, so the $$$ was a bit tighter than usual, but I'm definitely gonna try that one out; it's the closest thing to an Achilles I've seen yet. Any idea the size of the airhole on that smallest interchangeable thingie?

My profuse apologies "11"! I was kind of curious if you used it stand alone or with something. Yeah, the caramel candy is my favorite of the tfa and I still use it alot in things .
And Andria.....the smallest airflow "nozzle" is 1.7mm, and there's a corresponding sized one on the bottom airflow ring too, it says.

Hmmm.... that might still be a bit larger than I want; the Achilles' inner airhole is 1.2mm *I think*. But, it might be in the ballpark, at least a lot closer than the crappy Achilles II, which has a 2.5mm inner airhole.

continually post vague, open ended discussions

Hey, wait a minute I sometimes take fits of rambling drolly along in vague and vogue open ended discussions. There exist times when one needs to be a verbose blowhard and spiel unrelenting dribble in wanton disarray across our kindred shared web. *chuckles* Other times, not.

There are only 3 kinds of people that do this:
1. Trolls
2. Lazy People
3. People who like attention
I think this one is a bit of all 3.

Well, I can admit to sometimes being lazy. Most of the time however when I leave something open in discussion, it is also related to courtesy and treating others with respect. "I've said my piece, now I'll ..."

Then, others can chime in and say what they want, I'll read/listen. Sometimes I take the advice, other times I might not. That's simply a matter of discernment for applicability and use of my own pasta noodles.

Sometimes, I will genuinely not think and can own up to that. I maybe take a keen to not thinking due to thinking causing pain. That's like shooting yourself in the foot. Do you really want to do it? So, I stop thinking for a spell to mind the insanity I enjoy. :)

I started on the internet in '99

I started on the Internet in '94. We still used Gopher back then. We still use Gopher, now as well yet not as much. There used to be FTP for file transfer protocol and lots of colleges kept broad software libraries in their FTP sites. This is in part how Linux got spread nearly as fast as Unix. Unix and the C programming language have both been called viruses by their creators. Linux relies heavily on C. :)

I think everyone with an opinion is at least partially correct .

Groovy, I got an opinion. It is this, that ...

We all ramble sometimes and sometimes our rants are epic rambles of nonsensical beauty, we are all lazy sometimes and everyone of us have used the internet now and/or at some point in the past. The keyword in your statement is "sometimes". That one word makes all of the difference in the world.

I have put the troll on ignore. I will be abstaining from feeding the troll going forward. They thrive on attention, and I have played a role in feeding that.

Peace and harmony. Peace and harmony.

Ha! I started working for a Mom n Pop that built computer systems to spec for corps in 1988 and so hopped on Prodigy, AOL and Compuserve at that time, and local BBs (remember those?)... until the Web went graphic in '94 and jumped on Netcruiser to get on the Internet. Back then there was a protocol for etiquette (netiquette) which included not FTP'ing Universities during school hours so as not to hog up resources students might need. I remember building my own socks proxy (but can't remember why)... and also remember Yahoo! was the main search engine and it's entire db was on one page with hyperlinks to the resources. No such thing as Web forums back then, it was all USENET (still miss newsgroups... and still go there every so often). And Bill Gates made his famous statement that MS would not go online b/c the Internet was a fad. Everyone already online knew that was bollocks. :D

Have to admit I was one of those who felt the Internet "got ruined" when the McDonald's crowd jumped on. No more netiquette. No more rules. Mayhem ensued. Not the good kind.

But ya can't stop progress... :blech:

Local BBS? Nah, huh uh nope not me I sure as ... *! --- NO CARRIER --- !*
don't remember them *Choose Files, Chat, Mail by typing 1,2, or 3.* 2.

Yeah, I do remember them. Got whooped over dialing out to one in Alaska to access a friend's home network in Germany. He had some cool stuff on his drives, all kinds of text files worth the read. But mom didn't think so at $1.99 per minute. I had honestly not quite been aware of what the cost happened to be, silly me.

It was local BBS' that were good to create Annie's to hold data for piping out to a vault later. Annie's - Empty FTP sites that might appear as nodes on the 'net, where you think "anybody home?" Used to have an old program that spoofed ip, and then routed incoming back on itself or to one of the BBS'. Eventually helped in minor part with one really slick firewall application.

Netiquette still exists, though few any more take it to heart. I remember Yahoo, AOL,Compuserve,Prodigy.

Gates also said 64 kb of memory was all any computer would need. *lol*

Yes, we knew it then and still do today. They took away net neutrality here in the US this year. I look for that to get overthrown and repealed. Without it major corporations can block access to whatever for any reason, or throttle streaming television services. It sets the Internet up to further decentralize but not in a "good feeling" kind of way.

There'll be a lot of very discrete private networks going up and if you think Tor is great, wait until you start seeing various custom "dark net" masking software. No one will hold to a standard either, you'll need to jump through hoop x to access say medical journals, hoop H to get to see research on converting hydrogen to clean and safe fuel. Nobody will have the same hoop structures either, you'll need to find different client hoop software for each one.

It'll be like local BBS's but the BBS' will be more reclusive, more secured. Communication will actually stop.

New

Ah, damn my 'brother' Paco in Mexico would bean me for not using the Beatles. He might actually still be up here in the States though. He was a Walrus. :) He would listen to Beatles as we pounded on apple bins to fix them. Hard to trash an apple bin while listening to Strawberry Fields. *chuckles* Can't get the growl going to swing the 22 lb sledge.

@MyMagicMist you were way ahead of me in the geek zone with the BBs. I was just on them like the rest of the fools, with my 300 baud modem.... (where you could go make dinner while the handshake established itself). Was just such a fascinating time, getting online and connecting to other computers for the first time. And every new modem that was faster than the last was a must-have.

That's one dark vision you have for the future of the Internet there! I hope it does not come to pass. CA just passed a bill Sept 1st to have net neutrality in CA, which the FCC chairman called "egregious," but we're hoping it becomes a template for other states to follow.

My first Modem was a 1200 BAUD Rate and I remember how going to a 33,600 which was 3429BAUD was so Fast~! Then the 56K was Wow. Then to DSL with 1 Mbps Woo Hoo then I got Vz to up me to 3 Mbps until they screwed around and my speed dropped. After years they said I never had it! Fought with them and went to 100/100 Mbps on Fiber so Downloads are limited by the servers not my Bandwidth. Still could find some AOL 1.0 Floppies somewhere if I looked.

LOL @ "Network in a Box" ... (SNL Justin Timberlake's "Junk in a Box" routine)... Wow, this is all bringing back memories... about MEMORY and RAM and having to edit the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files so the machine booted with devices loaded in the right order.... then there was HiMEM and all ECHO OFF this and SET that and PATH this... esp for SoundBlaster cards. And printers, I seem to recall they could be a b* to configure.
