That's good since I only have like 2 FW in my current cabinet of concentrated flavors. I have Capella flavors.
Great! Caps does as well, but FW has a lot. It really does depend on the recipe. Pretty much any clone will have a good bit of sweetener in it. I, personally, don’t use a lot of sweetener, but it can do good things for a mix.

I am the same as you since my first stroke. I have had three now, but I am in the clear because the blood clot cluster has gone. I have found my taste and smell has been affected. Eyesight and emotional part of the brain got affected. I could not feel emotions for two years. Apparently I have taught a different part of my brain to take over. I went to the doctor for three years with symptoms and he thought I was a bored housewife. It all started when I crashed my bike, and from the injuries blood clots went undetected, I had a pulmonary embolism and I have been in heart failure. I am happy to be alive, even though I am very upset and angry at the doctors. Omg sorry for the rant. I am ok and it has made me stronger person.

I'm sorry. HIC is a good dude and is considered the diy god, but I mixed up the lemon meringue pie exactly as written and it was disgusting to me. I couldn't even finish vaping the 9 ml tester I made. Even after steeping for 2 weeks, all I could taste was egg white. I dumped the remaining 5 or 6 ml and put the bottle of meringue in the back of the cabinet.
I like a lot of HIC's recipes, but couldn't get with the LMP either.
If you're not ready to give up on it yet, try this one. It needs a good steep, but a few folks around here like it.

I made that! It's just that damn meringue again. :( The rest of it was great.

You know what, I think I'll mix it again but use FW whipped cream in place of the meringue. It won't be lemon "meringue" pie, but I'm okay with that. It'll be more like lemon cream pie.

Edit: I made your apple pie and it was awesome!

Let me know how it turns out subbing the FW WC, I'd be curious.
Glad you liked the Apple Pie, that one needs a 3-4 week steep & some folks aren't that patient! In fact, I'm about to tank some of that up right now that's about 4 weeks old. :mooncat:

Can't get cool whip here.

Those drop bears are attracted to the smell. There are youtube videos of them jumping through windows of Harris Farms and mauling people, almost to death. I think AUS gov'ment banned cool whip in the mid 80's to keep the death toll in check.

I bought the tfa pie crust specifically for your apple pie. I made a 30 ml batch right off, and it didn't get a chance to sit. It might have lasted 7-9 days...maybe. :) I'll make it again and hide some in the cabinet so it can rest. I got caught up in mixing some other stuff and actually forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.

Edit: correction. I did NOT get the pie crust for the apple pie, it was for your lemon meringue pie. I went temporarily insane for a minute. It was the TFA Apple Pie that I ordered special for the AP recipe.

Just got my new personal mix, like a white fudge caramel cake. 1% EM and 3% Sucralose and it taste pretty nice now, I honestly love it. But I'm wondering if I have to steep it that long, I haven't use any custards in it just bavarian cream, should I steep it? for 2 weeks onwards?

Fiestas and Fiascos is a strange tasting recipe. At first I didn't like it. It took about 15ML for me to be in the, "Can't get enough of it" category. I'm really digging it now. It tastes like grapefruit infused with some kind of grain. I know that doesn't sound good lol but it is. It's a nice change of pace from all the ordinary.

Do they have chupacabras and Bigfoots (Bigfeet? LOL) in Oz, too? How about Black Lagoons?

Must be why they're so fierce about vaping, too. The gov'ment, that is.

You are probably right. I know it become a problem with American tourists bringing peanut butter cups into Australia, then eating them on bush walks. Tourists also should try to talk in an Australian accent whenever around vegetation and trees, because they tend to leave most Australians alone.

Ok, you guys are killin me! WTF is a drop bear? :)
Have a look at the museum information that they put up

All I knows about is drop bears. Will leave that to the resident Aussie.
Well, I have never seen one, but I have heard them up in the trees. As soon as I hear them, I start talking really loudly about slappin a prawn on the Barbie, and they don't worry about me then. My friend won't go near the area unless she has forks tied into her hair. The Bears hate the forks for some reason. I won't put forks in my hair, I don't want to look silly.

For me, I steep any creams/ice cream/dairy for a week or so. Custards for 2+ weeks.

Basically, make a mix and try it right away. Take notes about what you taste. Try it again in 2/3 Days.....more notes. A week....more notes. 10days.....more notes. Two weeks.....you get the idea. That mix could change exponentially in a week. For better or worse. Custards can take months to pop. Some fruits fade after a few weeks to months. It’s just one big experiment!

Finally got to try @wildgypsy70 Honeycomb Custard Cookie today, been vaping it all day! It’s delicious! Thanks for sharing the recipe with us! :inlove:
I had everything ready to make this, and I discovered that I didn't have honeycomb after all!
I have collected so many flavors that I am losing track. I mean, that's a worry lol.
I have just started "collecting" rdas and wire. I am now the owner of two squonk mods lol.
I'm gone!

AWESOME! I've got both in my shopping cart. Just waiting on my money to hit the bank so I can seal the deal. :)
I have been thinking about your dislike of meringue, and I might have an idea for a sub. If you are doing an order soon, pick up some OOO powdered sugar. I am enjoying it, and I think it could make a good substitute for meringue. It has a dry sweetness. Make your lemon meringue pie, leave out the meringue, and add powdered sugar @ 0.5% to start, can always bring it up. Only if you want to, of course lol

Thank you. It's in the cart. I wish bcf carried the FE Lemon as well. I've read it's the gold standard of lemon flavor.
