Doesnt that shell look remakebly similar to the double barrel Huck or maybe that’s just me? Wonder if there was some inspiration drawn from it (mirror both sides and you have almost the DB)
I kind of thought the same when I saw Tony's double barrel. I'm sure those work much better, though, LOL. Must say, though, the Kbox does have a nice feel in the hand, and at the risk of a major "that's what she said" moment, it does take a beating. :teehee::D

I usually only take fairly cheap Mods out to the shop. This old Tesla is just starting to have fire button issues. Lost track - been going at least 3-4 years.

I was saying earlier I was surprised people haven’t jumped in showing the wrecker ...we had a 5k strong post on that box!
i would wager good money that most of them still look brand new, even after all these years. maybe try the opposite of this beater mod challenge and do a 'got a mint condition mod from 3+ years ago thats been used daily?' contest lol

I'm surprised there hasn't been a few more posted up myself. I imagine most of the ones owned on here are still looking new although I've heard a few people say their red ones have faded. All the black and silver ones have more durable finish on them I think. I just wish I could've got an orange and a blue G2 before they all sold out. Of course, it's common knowledge that the silver hits the hardest! :D

That’s what she said. :)

I’m impressed though, that was band still is an ideal type starter mod.

Thanks Rick  ...I like the stressed paint look on your mod there especially that back door panel with interior design it’s all the rage over here haha.

Nice to see a Tesla join the Beater club

Thanks for the feedback mate this one was an opener while people had the chance to look around the section, and bed it in, we went for something that wasn’t too taxing; so we could take learnings from the experience going forward.

The team are working on a challenge in the ideas pool at the moment as one of our maybes with the opportunity to post a bit of bling in there (it’s in early development at the moment while we flush it out)

If you or anyone else reading this have any ideas by all means wack them in the ideas submission thread and we’ll take a look into them.

That ($20) Mod really surprises me with it's longevity. Can't see in the pic too well, but there are deep scratches on the buttons and a few dings from being knocked off something in the shop or even accidentally dropped onto a running stationary belt sander! Shot it across the shop!

Sometimes I get these obtuse thoughts - When the finish started peeling / chipping (from the abuse), I started hand sanding the finish off the loose cover because I was putting flocking (kinda like spray velvet) inside some cutouts on a vape stand, and thought "wonder what a flocked Mod would be like". Never got back around to it when the Mod started acting temperamental. Still want to try it. I first saw flocking on duck decoys - durable.

I originally used it to clean the 510 area, and since I had the mod tore down by then, I figured to use a old toothbrush and scrub the whole board, daughter board etc. ... for there was a lot of crud...I did remove the screen from the board, I don't think ISO would be good to use on that...but for the chip board all good.

Same goes for a Pico Squeeze I had that started to auto fire... being that these things are only $17... I dropped the whole thing in my ultrasonic cleaner filled with Iso and ran it for a few passes, and the Squeeze works great again.

I posted about the Squeeze with pics in Bonkers thread ;)

http://vapingunderground.com/threads/squonkers-are-bonkers.183977/page-791#post-2205176

Worked great lol

So619Cal ...I had a go at this in my wife’s coolfire 4 ...the resistance was bouncing about and I suspected a lose wire was probably the culprit ...took it apart and everything looked absolutely fine so wasn’t that ...being it’s an internal battery I “carefully” cleaned the contacts with a tip and ISO one at a time letting it dry between, and the mod seems to be firing great again ...there was a little bit of crud removed around the ground plate....strange that would be all it was

Believe it not this mod is 2 years old ...still love the coolfires

Unfortunately all my really bad beaters are in a tote in my shed, this Battlestar serves two purposes for me, 1 I use it when I'm drinking and two I use as my desk vape because it stands up pretty good and doesn't fall over much.

Still hits as good as the day I got it..

I find with those semi fixed 510s, crud builds up on them and resistance goes crazy...like the VT133 I have, there was a ton of crud around the 510, once I cleaned that out thoroughly it stopped auto firing...other times I cleaned it was from getting the check battery prompts etc...but I really was abusing that mod from not caring about juice running inside of it... now I am a bit less careless, but not overly cautious.

This little mini volt is beat, but it is not beaten. It feel down something like 10-12 flights of stairs in a parking garage. These pieces combined are a working mod. I powered it on with a cell harvested from a laptop as the original battery is MIA.

I have a mini volt that looks brand new and it won't do anything when I plug it in.
It was fine when I put it away.
I've learned to charge up all of my internal battery mods yearly.

You can swap that little battery out. It had either an 18350 or 18450 battery in it. I plan to turn this poor fella into a build and burn station.

Ok, Ya'll made me take it back...
Waaayyy back (in vape years) to 2013

With not only a vamo V2 but an OG Protank V1 (the first glass tank EVER released on the market)
Notice the juice in the one is most likely from the same era:eek:

Like I said not only one Vamo V2 w/ Protank but TWO Vamo V2's (one silver one kinda gunmetalish) with TWO Kanger Protank V1's

Notice the drilled out airflow on the empty one
I was so tired of sucking ejuice through a pinhole I got the new base and a drill and made mega airflow.

These Vamo's maxed out at an amazing 15 watts!!!
and wouldn't fire below 1.5ohms:eek::eek:

Yes, It is :)

We didn't have "wraps" back in the day.
So I went with the homemade wrap:D

While I have never been a Slipknot fan, I had seen them in San Antonio with System of a Down sometime around 2001. They are very entertaining live.

I saw them live in 2008 at the Mayhem Festival
Nissan Pavilion Bristow, Va.

Edit: The other vamo has a Beastie Boys The Mix Up (Instrumental) Album sticker on it.

My entry is my wismec reuleaux GEN 1. This thing has been through 3sets of face plates 2 board swaps and about 7 paint jobs... Its a trooper.
Chicken dinner. No sense playing now but here goes FTFOI

Red RX200 is 2.5 years old and it's taken some tumbles but almost always wears a skin.
The blue Boxer has been my daily driver for the most part for 3 years. No real damage besides replaced boards and 510s.beaters.jpg
The red RX200 has taken some abuse though. Whap! I replaced the glass in the Supreme, filled it and vaped it.
RX200 dent.jpg
This was a friend's. I confiscated it and made him buy a new setup when I saw it.

Black/White's an old pic. Of a friend's mod. and @Drewcantwrap 's pic is better. mine's just for fun.

Thanks your pics are great as well and very much welcome  we arent looking for the best beater of the lot for entries (although so far Drew’s is something else lol)

as long as the pic meets the opening restrictions (with one of pics needing a user name and screen on) we can enter you ...up to you mate

Anyone else looking to post up we just need a clear written/name label of some sort next to the beater mod itself for it to count in the draw
