There are many essential oils that are great for being antibiotic, antimicrobial, and antifungal, such as tea tree oil the name one, which works just as well as benzoyl peroxide, just not as quickly.

Many essential oils are very good at healing wounds, skin health..and healing fungal/ microbial, and bacterial infections on the skin and scalp- like seborrheic dermatitis on the skin or scalp like tea tree oil..

They even have anti-aging and Beauty purposes, & can regulate sebum /oil production on the skin, like as tea tree oil and lavender.. and other essential oils. These oils are not bad unless you have an allergy or sensitivity to them. They are not like mineral or Petro oil that we want to keep out of our skincare.

You can dilute some of them and treat your own fungal or bacterial infections.. like adding tea tree oil to your bath to kill athlete's foot or jock itch, or even acne (by killing the P acne germ using diluted tea tree oil in a toner).

You can also make your own cleaning supplies with many different essential oils or things around the house such as ammonia, tea tree oil, baking soda, lemon oil, using Thieves Oil, Etc.

I have even had my own bar soaps custom-made that are antibacterial and made with goat's milk (which have natural Alpha hydroxy acids), and the tea tree oil and lavender kill the acne germ bacteria and control sebum/oil production, so I use some of these things in an apple cider vinegar toner- which TOTALLY cleared my face up and gave me nice normal skin.. after an oily / hormonal acne break out when I turned 36 (that was and looked terrible.)

There are a lot of great uses for essential oils and plants, and a website to use if you are interested in products made naturally (mostly small businesses) , made with essential oils or natural ingredients, is called etsy.com, and sometimes you can email somebody from a product page and ask a question, to see if you can get something made custom.
I have found wonderful things there.

Edit-thanks to whomever edited my post, among other things, saying- "I'm a spammer" and to "ban me".

You can also use defractionated coconut oil to dilute the essential oils with to use as a rub on. Not all essential oils are created equal be sure to get high quality essential oils, I get mine from Organixx

Yes, good point. Most people that I know that use essential oils in skincare.. get those that are food grade.

I'm sorry! I hope you are better!

Thanks for this article. I don't know much about other foods, but I have always valued Garlic as being a wonderful medicine. Whenever my insides start feeling horrible I whip up a nice vegetable soup with several cloves of virtually raw garlic and the pain and discomfort always goes away. Love the stuff.

The only drawback is that it kind of overloads your taste buds for a few days. I think I'm going to start experimenting with those other herbs you have mentioned. Cheers!

You're very welcome, I am glad you liked it. If you check out my health article thread you'll find a lot about food. Food is medicine if it's clean (non GMO and organic). ;)

Will do man. I hope your health has been improving.

Was going to type something more in-depth but I hardly have two functioning brain cells right now. Will check back in after some shut-eye.
