Ones I already own?

Title says all. Just got a vape mail package from my mom of all people (LOVE HER) and am curious if there's a website or calculator I can input the few (5) flavors I have available and it spit out a few recipes and the ratios to mix it?
Also, look like I'm stuck mixing by weight for now. fingers crossed I can manage but I got 1, 5, and 10 ml leur locks I think I'm good.
Man shes the best.
If anybody is curious or has any idea for these, the flavors are;
(Vapewild)
- wild custard
-cake wild
-sweet and creamy
-bavarian cream
-salted caramel
-creamy van.
And a bottle of sweetener and probably sour(or bitterant/whatever its called)

Eliquidrecipes.com... you can put the flavors in your stash once you sign up which is no biggie. Then hit the what can I make button and ittl pop up every that has that flavor in it.with percentage for that particular juice. What I do from there is compare other juices that have said flavor and get an idea of percentage. Tons of recipes in there. And welcome to the Vu. Tons of help here if needed :xmaslights::santasnack: to me mixing by weight is easier and less clean up. Just drop it right in the bottle on the scales

Not sure which flavorings Vape Wild repackages as their own - I'm guessing Flavor West

good luck with Eliquidrecipes.com. I put in something like 20 flavors and got back 2 recipies. this little hobby here is not as easy as these PRO's make it sound.

and get to know bullcityflavors.com.

Starting out it's easier to follow recipes instead of making your own. Some flavors go well together and some don't.

for nearly everyone, that is all they should do, starting out or veteran.

the problem I am finding = what % of flavor for single flavors (LB has this on the bottle).
and much more so, finding a recipy on ELR that is actually good. I could go on ELR and type in some real crap, on purpose. and there will be someone that tries it. a way to find "most popular" would be good.
and then there is thee amount of flavors, which I do not mind. but I would rather not buy something that is about useless to me.

These are my best mixes. Some are adaptation of other recipes.

When starting out I found it easier to do my own thing instead of following in the footsteps of others. Worked out well for me.............

You can tell it to include flavors you don't have, but I agree it's not a huge help if you have a relatively small group of flavorings

well. you know what would be GREAT, for us noobs. if there was a list of say 25-30 or whatever flavors. and then a usable amount of recipies that could be made with them. being new, idk just how possible that would be. but if doable, it sure would get a lot more people into this hobby.

I think it would need to be multiple lists because all people have different tastes and depending on how long since a person quit smoking. I was a Tobacconist for many years when I first started vaping and I once said I would never be vaping a Chocolate or Desert. Right now I am vaping some White Chocolate Peppermint. Who would have thought?

I remember you asking for tips, right - I think lots of people said buy flavors that make up one recipe - there are a lot of recipes on here that would be good to try (I agree that there is a lot of junk on ECF, but everyone's preferences of what tastes good are different)

You went down the same road I did - bought flavors that sounded good - it took me 3 years to make recipes that I wanted to vape all the time, going that route

There is no way to pass noobdom in DIY until you either try others' recipes (from forums, or like BCF's recipe packs) or relentlessly mix your own ideas over and over, because nobody has your exact taste preference

I disagree. I just started out less than a month ago and I've created about 7 or 8 recipes that are incredible. Watermlemonade, caramel custard cream, a root beer float, strawberry cheesecake, coconut ice cream, raspberry macaroon. I researched HEAVILY before I even bought anything. Probably for a few hours a day for about a week before I made my first purchase. Then I took a list of what flavors in which brands were best and bought some stuff off of it that suited my tastes. I studied other people's recipes and looked at not just the ingredients, but the theory behind them, I watched videos, read TONS of stuff on here, and dove in. I think it's all about approach. If you approach this like say you approach becoming a good cook, you will find that with some hard work you can not just copy others recipes, but take the theory behind those recipes and use it to create your own wonderful dishes. If you approach it like some hobby you are going to take half an interest in then maybe you should stick to others recipes, but I'd never discourage anyone from being creative and diving in head first.

But that is based off other peoples opinions not your own personal experience.
Naturally. I had no idea what flavors were best by which brands until I purchase and test those flavors, but it was an excellent starting point and put me on the right track. Without other people's opinions, you have no idea where to start. This was the list I used, and upon further discovery found that I tend to agree with these opinions.

I did not use other opinions to start making DIY e-Liquids because if I did I wouldn't have half the wonderful flavors I use to this day.

I ONLY, and I mean ONLY used it for my very first order. It gave me a starting point. If you notice, there are only 3 Flavorah flavors on that list, most of my purchases now are Flavorah or FlavourArt, I find their products to be wonderful, but this whole thing can be quite overwhelming to take the plunge into. The opinions of others are a good place to start, not to continue.

That pineapple custard is the sh*t! Imma gonna use it as a base for something with WF coconut rum and something else. Damn, it’s good. And easy.

This is not a terrible list. Definitely has some often used flavors. Great for a beginner.

So I know nothing of these flavors, but @JuicyLucy is correct about them being rebottled Flavor West. Either way, the first thing you need to do is single flavor test each of them. Then, you can get an idea about each flavor and what you can do with it. The flavors you have seem to be similar enough to do a nice custard cake thing or a caramel custard. I don’t think you’re going to get anything from ELR with these flavors.....too few and not commonly used.

And yeah, your mom is the best!

On ELR, there is a feature that’s under “resources” called “flavor list”. You type in your flavor, pick the correct flavor house and it gives you a ton of data about said flavor. Ratings, average solo percentage, mix percentage, notes from other people and recipes with said flavor in it. It’s a pretty good resource, IMO, if you pick up a new flavor and have no idea what % to test it at. I’ve used it quite a bit.

I made that mistake, too. I didn’t do my research. Now I do a ridiculous amount of research. And I still, on the regular, mix other people’s recipes. Cause they’re damn good. Gives me ideas.......

This was one of the first recipes that I devised on my own. About 3 days after getting my first order of DIY supplies. So this is an edited up version, and most likely it's final iteration. The two caramels play nicely on each other. CAP gives it a sweetness while the FA Caramel gives a nice goopy dark burnt caramel taste. The Bavarian cream is to play up the cream of the custard, the meringue is to play up the egginess of it. Hazelnut gives a nice little bond between them all and the vanilla swirl plays nicely on the vanilla custard. This is one of my higher percentage flavor recipes so far, but I have to say I have been loving this.

ELR has eliminated single flavor recipes from the what can I make function. You can still find common percentage used in the flavor list.
