Thinking about getting a 26650 mod and I’m looking for suggestions, a Squonk would be preferred but a regular box mod would be ok too...I’d spend $50/60. EightVape has the Pico Mega for around $20 and it looks interesting but I really don’t care for the shape.

I just got the Aegis 100w for $40 locally. I doubt I'd beat it just for the waterproof aspect alone. I just threw on the preco "indestructible" tank, and it's my out and about mod now.

Yeah it's difficult to find a 26650 Squonker the footprint is large on that battery plus the bottle and a custom one will be over $50 bucks.....

Get a Topside.... They are niceeee.

I’ve heard they’re nice but I don’t care for them cosmetically.

You are looking for perfection in every way..... For $50 bucks it's hard.....
I have been thinking of something that might be good for you...... But you threw in 26650 and $50 bucks...... it's difficult....

Someone mentioned The Aegis..... Well 26650 and you can take a
shower with it...... But more than $50 or $60

I wouldn’t be opposed to spending over $50/60 after Christmas but at the moment that’s all I can justify lol

Lol no worries. I’ll check those out, thanks! I will say I love, love, love how my SX Mini SL looks but ugh I really don’t care for how it operates and the annoying 21700 short error pisses me off beyond belief.

I’ve tried two different 21700’s and they both get the short message at some point during use but it only happens in that mod. I’ve read it’s a firmware issue but I can’t update it due to being a Mac user.

Any benefits to stabwood? I work with exotic woods and from what I’ve seen I’m not impressed.

There is no metal to contact the battery holder is Stabwood.... That's where yours is probably failing....

Look inside and feel in there, inside the tube and there is probably something (The back side of a screw) or something in there contacting your battery.... Double check.....

21700 is a tight fit in there......

The Stabwood is lighter too..... The mod weights less compared to a metal one..... 200 grams Versus 285 grams

From what I’ve read it is a firmware issue not a contact issue as some reviewers stated in the videos I watched, I could be wrong but I’ve ran paper around the inside of my tube and it didn’t tear or rip. That basically sounds like sending out a product you know will fail unless you pay extra for a random wood sample. From what I’m finding through use is mods are like knives, you pay for what you get...to a point and you just have to find your point otherwise you’re buying a shoddy product from a solid name.

That’s one of the videos I was referring to. I just got mine 2 months ago and that was the first thing I checked, no metal nub and as I stated previously I double checked mine by running paper inside the tube looking for other areas that may be a problem. SMM also stated the issue but both use the mod quite a bit in their videos, JH uses it constantly.

Don't you have a friend or family member to let you use their windows computer ?

That issue would drive me crazy !

If you have some extra cash get a Viscious Ant.....

When you hold it it's amazing. It has a spot for every finger and crevice of your hand.

It's only 75 watts, but using The Yihi SX 350J V2 you can use Powerful plus which pushes the mod to 100 watts.

You can use it daily if you want, but I like it at home with a cup of coffee and relaxing.......

26650s may have high capacity, but terrible voltage sag with high wattage vaping

There are 4000mah 21700s that work better...just my 2 cents

@mach1ne
Yeah that's why I love my Boxer... Dual 21700 Samsung 30T and DNA 250c.... 80 watts (2) days of ass kicking.....

i only use them in single battery mech mods, but yeah i agree that they are starting to show their age, especially compared to the 2x700s and the newest 18650s. its still a good battery, and i love my 26650 mech mods, but its definitely outclassed by newer cells. if you love that aegis, go for it, but if you are just looking to try a new battery, consider the 2x700s. they are a bit more powerful, and there will also be more new mods that use them in the future (26650 seems to be on the way out).

"Jai Haze" and "watch" do not belong in the same sentence. :)
I'm not one to bad mouth people and I don't mean even this that way, but you DO have to be careful with this guy. He is the only prominent reviewer I've found to be totally wrong in some of his reviews. I mean as in TOTALLY wrong.

I'm a bit sheepish to say stuff like this because I don't have too much experience myself, but I own a few of the pieces he's reviewed and have found them to be nothing like he said in his reviews. The ones that jump to mind right away are the Dot 24mm rda which he made a spectacle out of showing how impossible it is to build on and I did it no problem. I also found literally NOTHING he said about the Coilart Mage rta v2 to be true at all. Nothing. (well, he did say it was made of metal)

It's one thing to say you don't like something and why. To completely misrepresent a product, especially right in the face of other reviewers saying the exact opposite is something else though.

This is exactly why he is not a credible reviewer. He is essentially the video vape reviewing version of wrestling. He puts on a good show, gives you some drama and exciting noise, but is all smoke and mirrors and sleight of hand.

Did you paint the yellow?
No is Ultem.... The panels are formed and cut out of Ultem..... The same material the use for tanks and drip tips.......
e41ef444e7ba20f6693fc885699e4553.jpg

I sent it to a shop the yellow and they make the panels in black Ultem......

So you can change the panels around.... They also have a clear Ultem PPE..... You can see the interior of the mod and 26650 battery and lights... Blue fire button and the colors of the screen shine through the sides.....

To much.... Maybe if I was 20 years younger...
