Yeah I use VCT4, 5 & 5a. Not saying Samsung may or not hit harder, I just from my own experience feel safer using Sonys
Per Mooch, as long as you don't misuse/mishandle them and you are dealing with genuine, undamaged, and not severely aged batteries either manufactured by one the of 'Big 4' (Sony/Murata, Samsung, LG, Panasonic/Sanyo) or manufactured by Molicel, if having to choose between two different batteries, then, notwithstanding the fact different battery chemistry types also have different safety characteristics, the one with the significantly higher CDR (e.g., 30 amps for the Samsung 20S versus only 25 amps for the Sony/Murata VTC5A) will still be safer. It means the Samsung 20S is still simply a safer battery than the Sony/Murata VTC5A, i.e., in the end unfortunately the real truth is just the opposite of how your own experience is making you feel, and, this is despite the VTC5A can still also be used in such a particular way that it will be still also within reasonable safety limits.

This was a great answer man, and you managed to do it with only a smattering of condescending sarcasm too :D

By all accounts the 20s is the current (pun?) go to battery for mech users. And yes, it's a really good idea to pull your feelings into line with the reality of the situation. Especially when it comes to holding a live firing, high power electrical source under your nose.

I use 4x samsung 20s batts every day.
My rda has solid 0.10 coils installed.
So 4.2v ÷ 0.10= 42amps.

Now I'm sure the voltage is lower than 4.2v, if I want a 3 puff solid 40amp hit off my mech I'll use a 30t. There's def a noticeable differences between a 20s and 30t wth 0.10 build.

Buuuuuuut, I'd really appreciate it if everyone sticks with 0.14 ohms and higher with a 20s.

Haven't played with the Drop in a while and had a build in it already so I threw it on the ohm reader. .28. That's pretty low, but within the safe amp draw for a pair of fresh 30Ts ,so I thought I'd get a little adventurous.

WOOOOOWEEEE!!!

I had to stick my eyeballs back in my head so I could do this post.

Just got this yesterday from @jwill and the Cloudist.store. I planned my orders correctly as the Samsung 20S batts and this arrived on the same day!
I put in a modest build of 0.19 Ohms. Next is the stack tube for this and a build closer to 0.30 or so. Maybe tomorrow...

It comes with the 25mm RDA which, in my opinion, is one of the best RDA's I've used. I'd go for the 26mm tube if it were me and since it's you and not me you can get one for me also.

I picked this up in a trade knowing it had issues. I ended up getting it to work but I need some parts to make it right.
I tried to contact Man Made Mods (the maker) via their Facebook page. I've left 2 messages but they aren't responding.
If anyone has any ideas or has one kicking around (in any condition) that I could buy for parts I would greatly appreciate it.
