Other than the collection of Allen keys and screwdrivers from various devices, I got one of these:

94725_W3.jpg

https://www.harborfreight.com/36-piece-sae-metric-hex-key-set-94725.html

SAE Long Arm: 1/16 in., 5/64 in., 3/32 in., 1/8 in., 9/64 in., 5/32 in., 3/16 in., 1/4 in., 5/16 in.; Short Arm: 0.05 in., 1/16 in., 5/64 in., 3/32 in., 7/64 in., 1/8 in., 5/32 in., 3/16 in., 7/32 in.; Metric Long Arm: 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm; Short Arm: 1.27mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm

$8 at HF. I originally bought it to take apart my Underground SQK that had a Allen bolt like 4" up inside the box..no way to get at it except with a long driver. :)

Got a set of these for free from Dad, he never used 'em. Very cheap, but has worked for years.
I started wrapping coils on these babies 6 yrs ago. :)

I also have a cheap chinese "laptop tools" kit for smaller or oddball things like Torx sockets.

With those three and a set of HF slotted/phillips full-size drivers, I can take most anything apart. :D

With these, do you know what sizes you use the most on grub screw?

I'd say the 1.5 and 2mm. I don't really pay attention, just see what fits and use it. :)
I don't change builds often either.

In my experience, Chinese screws aren't consistent. Even two screws on the same atty can be milled differently.

Then again, I don't own any high-end atties. Geekvape atties tend to have very nice screws though.

Yes and no. It's designed for taking laptops and other electronics apart, not atties.
Torx, ya, I used it to strip my POS Capo Squonk down to the circuit board.

You can find it on chino sites, AMZ and ebay.

Most of the Allen bits in that kit don't fit my atties well though, I originally bought it to take apart a laptop.
It has bits ya likely never seen before. The spudgers are very handy too. :D

The HF bit set is good quality and ya 'prolly have a HF nearby?
But, ya can get all of those things for cheep and never worry again. ;)

Also another good set of allen wrenches to have around is the Ball End ones because of the ability to use in tight spaces and have the torgue required.

My local Ace sells singles in all sizes. The nut and bolt section. You know the little blue drawers? I bring the rda in question and match them up. Like75 cents.

I find having this around which is in my IT tool bag works for anything I ever need.

I have this exact same kit.
It fits everything from an RDA to a Chevy dashboard.

There seems to be two standard sizes for most hex screws in RDA's
1.5mm and 1.3mm

He's right, they do come in handy.
For some reason I posted the wrong model, I do have those ball-ended ones. :)

I just use the little orange ones that Geekvape includes in their stuff. I like that it's shaped in a T making it easy to get it a little torque.

I have two really old Picos that come loose on the top. The screws dont hold long and always wiggle out. The screws are tiny and torex styled. I looked at a few places but didn't know where to look really. I got a Mag kit last year and thry included a driver or wrench to take off the mag release button? I dont know, but it's the exact size I needed to tighten my Pico screws.

The screws in the Coral 2 use 1.5mm.

Oh, I was talking about Pico 75W mods. Theres two screws on top keeping everything compressed. Theyre torx t5 or something really small.

Sounds about right. IIRC, the older iSticks used t5 torx. I've never taken a Pico apart though, they don't die. :D

They sure don't. I dropped one in the middle of the street durring a snow storm outside of a vape shop. I realized what happened and called them. Someone turned it in the next day. It was probably ran over a few times because it was all scuffed up. But I got it back, dried it out, and it still works today.

My iStick TC40W is still kicking to this day almost 5 years later. With using the pass-thru like crazy when I first got it because I only had one MOD and the multitude of drops. Makes me laugh still to this day what all of those ECF assholes said was wrong with it. Come to think I heard that same BS about many of my MOD's, and all of them are still firing~! My daily beater is an RX200S that I dropped so many times it really shouldn't work. Never had the screws loosen on my Pico though.

You can't expect someone to use Monarch brand on a top shelf piece of gear!
Of course not. And I am sure that some look down on Absolut.
LOL
It was just the highest one I am aware of.
It is actually pretty good stuff.
for consuming, not washing things in.
And Drink some Absolut with fresh squeezed Florida OJ in it and you do not worry about the little tiny screws :)

Librarians aside, I buy metric allen wrenches from these guys: https://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/metric-allen-wrenches/931.htm

I buy 25 at a time and have several sizes depending on the grub screws. They are so cheap that you can almost throw them away after one use. But I don't - just grind them down on the bench grinder a few mm's when they get rounded off and they are as good as new. I'm pretty sure I won't ever have to buy any again in this lifetime.

I can't tell, but does it have really small torx ? that's what I need, as well as the small allens.

At $7.88 in your link I might pick up a set just for the fuck of it~!
Steve TBH I use them all the time, very handy set. As far as mods/RDA’s go I’ve not encountered a screw that isn’t in that kit. Hyper tough has came a long way in diversity and quality for the price. They’re no Mac or snap-on, but I’ve broken way more Stanley and Craftsmen tools at work than hyper tough.
