Best Squonk RDA?

Hey folks, so I've had the Lost Vape Paranormal DNA250C for a while now with a regular tank. But I just don't get the flavor that I want.
So I'm switching to a Squonk Mod. I've been doing a lot of research on the best mod and the best RDA for the mod.
I've still got more research to do on the mod, but the 2 best choices I have now are the DOVPO X TVC Topside Dual 200W and the Rebel Vapes DNA250C.
But that's for later.

Right now I'm trying to figure out the best RDA or RSA.
I've been watching tons of reviews by Jai Haze and wrote all of his ratings down.
I'm not sure if I missed any ratings (I've got like 15) but the best 2 according to him are these:

Hellvape Dead Rabbit RDA/RSA
Jai Haze rating: 10 for squonker, for dripper/squonker: 8-8.5

BB Vapes B2K RSA
Jai Haze rating: 8.5-9

I'm wondering if I could get any feedback by folks who maybe have used these or perhaps some that are even better.
I'd like to be able to finally pick one, I've been researching for hours.

P.S. The 2 things I don't want to compromise on is that I want dual batteries and the main focus to be flavor (very pronounced long lasting flavor that doesn't go away after the first couple hits)

I don't put any stock in what that guys says.
I haven't had either of those RDA's but plenty here have.
I like single coil squonk RSA's, that can paint the coil instead of relying on capillary wicking.

Are you talking about a dripper when you say "paint the coil"?

Apply juice directly onto coil when dripping or using an RSA that can squonk juice up onto the coil w/o leaking. True for squonk mods with bottles, not something like asMODus Pumper or TVL Delta that don't pull excess juice back in.

Here's a great example. Excellent single coil squonk atty. Very leak resistant...can fit big coils...flavor is superior.
Reload S. Can be squonked higher w/o leaking, but this is plenty. And it's forgiving in that, you don't have to be careful about making it leak because it won't. Well, none are leak "proof" but you'd have to squonk the hell out of it way beyond where you would want to, to get it to come out of an air slot. It takes more than a full press of the bottle with the mod I use. Nothing leaks from bottom seals. Holds a good amount of juice.

Here's a thread about it.

Thanks for your take man.
I still don't know what to do about the RDA / RSA though.
I really want to make sure that I get the absolute best and it's hard finding a definitive list anywhere

Because there is no absolute best. That is like asking 'what is the best automobile'.

It's completely subjective to what YOU like as a vape, how you vape, what you vape with, single coil vs duals, using a MTL or DL style of vaping, flavor vs clouds, using TC or not, etc. :)

For me, the Flave 24 Tank comes damn close though. I own two of 'em and would gladly have more.
I also love my squonked Goons, Reload X, Ghoul, O-atty v2, and the classic NarCa RDA. But, all for different reasons and applications. ;)

Well, there is ya problem bro...lol... Ignore that drama queen fool.

Nobody can or should tell ya how or what to vape. You can only learn what suits you over time. :)

That said, I personally like reviews by TVP, DJLsb, and Vaping With Vic. YMMV.

I'm fairly new to squonking but I'll give my feedback. I will say I only use single coil RDA's.

Recurve RDA: Super easy to build on. Ok flavor. Good semi-restrictive airflow. Requires very frequent squonking because of the small juice well.

Pixie RDA:. Easy to build on. Awesome flavor. You get many pulls because it holds a good amount of juice. Many choice of airflow from open to semi-restrictive with the use of inserts. Can get a little warm because of the height. Uses a 510 drip tip. Which for me is a winner but might not be for some. Also excellent as a dripper for flavor sampling. I have two and use them all the time. Super cheap. VaporDNA has them for $12.99 right now.

Nudge 22 RDA: Pretty easy to build on. Great flavor. Has two different top caps with different size airflow. The smaller of the two is a little airy for me even with the use of the 510 drip tip adapter.

Pulse 22 RDA: Ok flavor. Easy to build on. Way too airy for me and not very adjustable.

Berzerker MTL RDA: Great airflow and flavor. Many choices of airflow with the use of several different insets and hole sizes in the barrel. Not good if you like it airy though. Holds a good amount of juice. A bit of a pita to build on because it is a 18mm. Very unique looking. Easy to use as a dripper if you want.

I have two Wotofo Elder Dragons on the way which I have heard are excellent. Also have a Pulse V2 on the way which has three airflow inserts to allow you to use it as a dual or single coil.

The Dead Rabbit is a solid dual coil flavor oriented squonkable rda, the Pulse v2 is another solid option as well.

I’ve tried several dual coil RDAs for squonking, but always went back to the convenience and efficiency of a single coil with the coil placed directly above the squonk port.
It tends to help avoid over squonking, and also helps with flavor, since that means the coil is directly under the drip tip.

My three favorites right now, are the citadel from psyclone mods, the reload s from reload vapor, and the elder dragon from Wotofo.

The reload is the least likely to leak. All three have comparable flavor with the right build. The citadel is a 510 drip tip, the others are 810. A lot of aftermarket tips have overhand with the elder dragon(but the stick tips are very nice) the reload will fit almost any 810 tip.

If you're like me you'll end up with the little buggers popping up all over and still be in search of the Holy Grail. As far as reviewers, I haven't found one that I agree with 100% as of yet. That's not a bash. I don't expect to agree 100%. Jay's post modern street cool affect turns me off so that taints his reviews for me.

Jai can be an asshole. But he isn't afraid to say something is junk. Even if he got it for free. Unlike some of the others who tickle the corporate doo-dads in every review.

I don’t have an outright best although there’s a few i like to rotate round (tend to prefer single coils for squonking) ...in no particular order

Basic 1.1
Soul S
Hadaly
Citadel
Entheon
Jazz
Flave 22
Aeronaut V2
Gorge
Elder dragon
Profile
Recurve

If I had to choose one from this list Hadaly ...holds a special place for me kinda a unicorn

That's cool. I'm sure if I could get around the affect he has a lot of good information to share. He has a good following. Overall, I'm glad to have reviewers to reference. Marketing claims and hype make me sick. Kinda like the old story of being behind a car in the left lane while the driver has it's arm out the left window. What do you know? The windows down.

The Wotofo Profile is the best rda. As a bonus the Eleaf pico Squeeze 2 is an excellent single battery Squonk mod and the Desire rage is an excellent dual cell squonker.
The one by Mr. Just Right?
Jai gave that a rating of 6-6.5
He said that the mesh dries out his mouth after every inhale. I have the Freemax Fireluke Mesh right now, and I get the same feeling, so I'm inclined to believe him.

On my Lost Vape Paranormal, the best configuration I've found is TC at 200 degrees and 25 watts. If I raise either one of these, I get less flavor and burn my ejuice faster.
Have you tried Replay mode?

I appreciate all the comments folks, I'm going to be researching your suggestions and seeing what I like, thank you all!

Yes, I can't get it to work. I click "Replay" and then it doesn't do anything. I've tried clicking it then vaping, clicking it and holding, etc. Very rarely I'll actually get it to be enabled, but I change my wattage every couple of minutes 1-4 watts depending on how hot or cold the vape is atm, so going back to replay all those times is not gonna happen.

If Replay isn't doing anything, then your not doing something correctly. Why do you change the wattage by 1-4 watts every couple mins?
Replay will give you the same vape every time.

To keep the hits consistent. To warm it up if i just started, or cool it down if I've been vaping a lot, etc.

That's what Replay does. Keeps the vape consistant.

Yes I know, but like I said, I don't know how to make it work. There's no "watts" option on the Replay tab, only a temperature option. So even if I knew how to get it to work, getting it to Replay the right vape is very hard.

You just hit the replay button and then fire as you normally would .

The only time you should have to go out of replay is if you change environments.
Like going from a 76def indoor temp to 90deg outside or something along those lines.

A few suggestions - don't take it the wrong way:

----

Get an ohms law calculator to help with wattage setting.

Know the burning temperature of your wick!

Go to your computer and launch escribe, play around with it a little bit until you're completely comfortable and confident with it.

Plug your device in and let it download the information off the device.

Fine tune the device settings to your liking - then upload the settings back to the device.

Disconnect the device from the computer and give her a whirl.

----

So my escribe settings have a very distinct pattern (REPLAY ON AND OFF). Try to pay very little attention to REPLAY TEMPERATURES - THEY ARE IMPORTANT, JUST NOT AS MUCH AS YOU MAY BE THINKING.

Here's kind of what my settings look like:

MATERIAL: 316L Stainless Steel

WATTAGE: (Set to power NOT EXCEEDING 4.2V @ GIVEN RESISTANCE!)

TEMPERATURE: MAX 475°F! I use RAYON, so burning starts at 450°F.

Unit is at room temperature, flood RDA with juice, and fire it until I get a good hit, afterward - hit REPLAY.

I do this every time I use REPLAY. It's been pretty good and pretty accurate so far. Haven't gotten a dry hit doing it that way, yet.

Something else to try if you're getting errors, turn the punch and preheat time down. If you're still getting errors, you may need to look at a firmware or THEME ISSUE. Evolv has had a few issues with throttling on the 250C board, and sometimes a firmware update fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't work, maybe put in a ticket or something at Evolv tech support, they should be able to help you further.

As for bottom feeding RDAs are concerned, I use the Recoil Rebel, Pulse 24, Pulse X, or the Bonza. I prefer the Pulse X because of its unique squonk set up.

Jay screwed the pooch with his profile RDA review. With that being said, the Wasp Nano RDA is hard to beat. It has it all imo. Easy to build, to wick, to use, to squonk. It's a no-brainer RDA that flat out performs!
