Ouch, I had no idea they were that addictive. I got different ones from Om and Umba, and I did find that after a while I was craving the smoky taste. But I like NETs too, and some are a bit smoky. The ones I have didn’t take the craving away that much, so I thought I’d try Aroma. They’re like the Holy Grail at ECF.
Were you using Aroma or another brand?
Omg, the humidity is fucking crazy today!! Haha, I can say that here. :bliss:

I did use some of Aroma's, but only at first, then I discovered that "WTA-infused" ejuice was utterly worthless. At that time, there was another brand called Wholecig, and theirs worked GREAT. If you're going to get anything from Aroma, get their unflavored high-dosage (I think it's 24mg), and use it as about 10% of your eliquid -- I was already doing DIY when I started using WTA, but 10% was the amount of WTA in the total recipe, for about the first 4-5 months of using WTA. Then I spent another 15 months bringing it down all the way to .1% before I finally discontinued it. Each time I would drop the dosage (very small drops!), I'd be totally out of sorts for about a week, till I got used to the new lower level of WTA. Weaning is much easier by doing that kind of systematic weaning, which is impossible with cigarettes -- but it truly requires doing it that way, slowly and steadily, unless you want to go thru all the same withdrawal syndrome as from cold-turkey quitting cigarettes -- I had to avoid that at all costs, because that's the reason I never could quit smoking, and why I had that dual-use relapse: I simply cannot tolerate that kind of suffering.

NET eliquid does have a "smoky" taste, but that's really all it gives you; there's no appreciable amount of any psychoactive chemical, whether WTA or nicotine; nicotine is added to it artificially, and that's exactly what Aroma does with their "WTA-infused" ejuices -- they use a SMIDGEN of WTA, and fill the rest of the mg level with plain nicotine, to which I really wasn't addicted, after 20+ yrs of ultra-light cigarettes -- it was all those other alkaloids and the MAOIs that had their hooks in me, and given that I've suffered the depression/anxiety spectrum since my teens, it's clear that it really was mostly the MAOIs -- I also had to wean VERY slowly from Effexor, after 2 yrs on it -- it took another 18 months to get off of it! I guess I just have fotally tucked up brain chemistry.

Excellent, I just bought three bottles from them. One 24mg and two 6mg.
How come more ppl aren’t talking about this?
Have you vaped them recently or while you were quitting?
Sorry for the questions, just wondering about all of this. lol

Most people don't require WTA, they can get off cigarettes just by replacing the nicotine AND the behavior -- the behavior is really the biggest part of it! Because people who quit vaping, very often end up going back... TO SMOKING! It's a replacement, so if you stop replacing smoking with vaping... what do you use to replace smoking AND vaping?

2-3 packs a day ? that's F'n NUTS. I was 1/2 pack a day, 1/2 cig at a time.. and at 1 point I was 1 pack in 3 days,.

For the year before I started going outside to smoke, I was smoking 3 or 3½ pks a day, EVERY day. That was one of the reasons, besides my son's bronchitis, that I had to start taking it outdoors -- just by making myself go outside to smoke, i dropped immediately to 2 pks a day, and over the next 16 yrs before I found vaping, got it down to 1 or just over, per day, and because it was winter right before I switched to vaping, it was down to about 15 cigarettes per day -- 3/4 of a pk.

Thx for that -- he sold the business *just* after I finally got off WTA, so I was aware of it, but then completely lost track of whatever happened to it, since I wasn't using it anymore.

I found aroma better. The DIY, as you say.

Given WTA is inherently only 5-8% of it's alkaloid content as the minor alkaloids, (the rest nic) diluting that further with more nic doesn't leave much

That's true, it doesn't, but I've found that with SSRIs, the most minute TRACE of it is enough to keep you addicted, and make it very damn slow and painful to wean off -- so I suspect that's also true of the MAOIs, which are *somewhat* similar to SSRIs in their action, though they work by sparing ALL neurotransmitters from premature uptake, while SSRIs work primarily on serotonin, and Effexor also works on norepinephrine.

But I think the godawful cravings I suffered after my appendectomy were more because of the anti-inflammatory effects of those "minor" alkaloids; I have IBS, which flares up and makes me sick as a GOAT if I even so much as take a stool softener, nevermind a laxative! -- so having a chunk of it go septic, rupture, and then be cut out... well, my colon was very unhappy about the entire state of affairs, and made me HORRIBLY sick afterward, and brought back those godawful cravings after 4 months of being off cigarettes! I'm just glad that I was able to keep the dual-use relapse to a month -- thx to WTA!!

That sounds horrible, Andrea.

Just a side note. If there were enough maoi in tobacco to be at all therapeutic, the drug-food interaction would mean any smokers who ate cheese would drop dead. Google the maoi diet lol

I doubt that it IS therapeutic to those who don't have that type of neurochemical dysfuction -- those people who might find it difficult to quit smoking, but can do it with very little discomfort. Those are the people who've never understood why SOME of us never could quit, or quit and stay that way. They're also the people who mostly find WTA "useless" -- because it doesn't do anything at all for them. Think of it like WTA is a key in a lock -- but if there is no lock, then a key means nothing.

WTA is helpful. But it is the 5 minor alkaloids that I can't spell. Not mono amine oxidose inhibitors

Tested a couple juices I made yesterday. One I got from elr and had 211 reviews with 4-5stars. I think it's pretty decent. But my victory is a chocolate peanut butter shake. Got some help in the mixing thread and came out with a super winner. Yay to the Vu for helping me not fuck up a recipe. Lol.

I was jealous straight off of ppl who switched to vaping in one day and were completely satisfied with FB. Granted, I had 3mg juice my first week of vaping and I was chain vaping like a fiend to try not to smoke.
Hope you had a good day yesterday! :)

Are the SSRIs the antidepressants? Man, I hope I’m not going to pick up some crazy jones from WTAs.

Have you tried the Dvap DIY he has? It’s the one I got for $5 more than the Special Edition one.

IDK what is happening with Aroma. In terms of the business. They said on the other forum that they have cut back staff.

I usually use Om. I mix my own and 1/4 of my brew is 36mg Om, another 1/2 of my brew 100mg freebase. So VG lasts for ages.

Liquidleaf were another good one. Formerly wholecig. Mother's milk never had an effect for me. Even dripping the 36mg straight.

Have you bought from Om lately? The last two sales their alkaloid juice was OOS in basically all flavors, even Umba Pure (no flavor.)
Maybe they’re phasing them out, since it seems a lot of ppl like their FB flavors. Say hi to the animal friends!

I wonder if I still have anything in a FT cart?
Been a long while.

I like when I go to a site and find I have stuff in a cart that I forgot about. lol
Oh, I googled Todd, and he’s not the guy I watched. But I like his shed. And the Fife accent! :)

Paranormal DNA250C, the only one of that model line that has the removable panels. Reload rta clone.

I guess eventually I’ll know what that is! lol It sounds like one of those mods that cost a million bucks, though. ;)

Cool that you got that much off. Looks like a dual battery thing. Those are kinda big for me, even if they last for a long time.
They look kinda like Yihi mods. I mean top shelf and all.

it is cool, and if I didn't get it on sale, I would not have bought it. as I didn't really want one anyway. but now, I am glad I have it, it's pretty slick.

it is dual 18650.

I have a YiHi G-Class. got that on sale also, same reason. $135. it was at a vape shop, on the %40 off table. those go for around $190.

The bad news is, if you develop a fancy for this crap, it can become a super-massive black hole for money. The good news is, there are ALWAYS unbelievably great deals to be had, both in the used market and from retail vendors. I can't remember ever paying full price for ANYthing.

I love the way you shop!! I only heard of those by reading someone’s blog. It’s like a BMW mod. They do look sick, though!
Perchance to dream, eh? lol

That made me laugh. Unfortunately (or fortunately lol), I am pretty good at shopping!!
I spent way too much this weekend and I didn’t even go crazy. smh I can see falling in love with this shit, though. Get thee behind me, expensive mods...Thank God for Aegis’s on sale.
Although, I bought a Mini and they sent me a Legend last sale I shopped! I wanted the mini beast, yo.
