I have one (it's my second) and the build quality is great and it looks nice.I wish I could convince some single-coil fan folks to try the VA Radius V2 clone off Aliexpress or FT. (I think the ones on Aliexpress are a better quality clone than FTs.) I only have heard of one other person here who has one. It's fairly low-profile and is just a great RDA, restricted DL. I had to switch out the DTs on both of them because they come with a tiny stainless DT that gets hot as hell, but a 3/8" (or so) ultem tip works great. I use them on Ram mech squonkers.
It is a restricted DL RDA but it produces some great flavor.

The staged coil I have in it now is a lot better than anything else I've tried, but between that and the fact that when I squonk it, most of the liquid gets sucked back down into the bottle, I've just about given up.
Why make a squonkable RTA with a 510 pin that has a hole so low that it pulls all the juice back out?

When I Squonk I give it a couple of squeezes letting it go back down into the bottle, then I give it one more squeeze keeping the bottle squoze I tip it towards the cotton sides then release the bottle.
You might need to adjust the amount of squeezes depending on the RDA but you get the idea.

Gosh I wish I knew why mine does not do that. I put the coil height right to the top edge of the deck. it's a bit noisy ( airflow wise) but no spitting or popping. I wonder if it is the drip tip I am using? I'm not positive that is the one that came with it. I'm pretty sure when I squonk it does the same. The only way to alleviate that would be if you could find a pin that is longer on the end that comes up into the deck, obviously not so long that it hits the coil though.

Beautiful vape mail today. Did a trade with @jwill and got these two beauties. Love the colors too! I know I got the better end of the deal here. These are amazing. Huge bonus that with some thicker o-rings the pink cap fits on a Peerless RDA deck. But oh that purple RDA.............what a great vape and the finish is gorgeous and the airflow is so very smooth. He does fantastic work.

Probably because it was an RDA first - and many of the best squonking RDA's drain - on purpose.
It's one of the advantages of squonking - you don't want a puddle getting pre-cooked, you want a few puffs, then you squonk and it's fresh liquid. In the early days of squonking, that was promoted as the reason it was better - you'd get "dripper flavor without the hassle of dripping".
Then tanks got better, and now people are squonking tanks...but the device wasn't purpose built for that use, it's kind of "let's take our successful RDA and slap a little tank on it".
PS - I've got a bunch of Flave 22mm RDA's on squonkers.
Most of them have a simple wire build like this - no spit, great flavor...
It's 26g. SS 316L, 3 mm, landing at 0.45 ohms
Sorry though - not sure what I'd want to run in a tank...but if I was gonna try one, it'd likely be the Flave!!

Yes, I get that about the RDAs needing to drain. And it may be that the authentic Flave RTA does a better job with pulling back the right amount of liquid.

The REOs were the first gen of mech squonsker, back when everyone was vaping around 1 ohm. they can take a heck of a beating (there were videos in youtube of people running cars over them and then vaping them) but because of the negative connection configuration had pretty big voltage drops below 0.5 ~ 0.6 ohms
The issue is that for all but the raw aluminum bodies, the safety springs sits on top of the painted body and is only attached to the body itself by a small stainless less screw, so the whole negative charge goes through it.
- remove the screw and spring
- carefully removed the paint just on the inside / bottom of the body (nothing outside)
- put back screw and spring
- a few dabs of soldering around the spring base plate to the raw aluminum
vaping happily on a narda clone @ 0.3 ohm / single coil since, hitting just damn nice

the wood portion of the body got wet and swelled. look close all around the face plate. i got it for a song. the plan is to get a stab block and make a new body.
