Hey guys, anyone interested in the SSPP panels? Decided I like my stock curved ones to use with my leather case. The waffle I won was $224 in total but included a Dry Plug and shipping. So $200ish? I'll let them go for $100 plus shipping for my homies here. PM me! As with all my gear they're in 9/10 shape

Since the USPS can f&%k up a one car funeral, my Xeta will get here when it gets here.
My order from Bull City Flavors is marked out for deliver, but the Xeta isn't. It hit my local distro center at 1am. I'll be surprised if it isn't delivered today, just not scanned.
Just add it to the list of USPS fuckery.

Amazon at least give you credit if it arrives late. Damn USPS takes zero responsibility and there's little to no recourse.

The Pastio is a cool lil pod device... built the RBA with a simple 28g 2mm N80 5/6 wrap for .75Ωish... great vape at the lowest setting.

Its like a smaller Insider RBA with shittier screws lol... yeah its not the friendliest to coil, but nothing OMG to hard it sucks.

Chain vaping it trying to get it to dry hit and just wicking perfectly.... much better than the Nord

Only slightly larger than the Nord in height and width...thickness its the same

Pasito is 103x38x18 (4 x 1 1/4 x 3/4 )
Nord is 94x30x18 (3 3/4 x 1 1/8 x 3/4)

New out and about beater lol

Think I took like 50 rips and killed 1 dot of the 5 for power... emptied the tester juice ( No nic ) and filled it with my 18mg out and about juice. (Red Pill)

Xeta arrived. Cleaned in my USC for two cycles
Medium bore chimney installed, second to smallest airflow insert. Installed a Ni80 29/38 2mm ID clapton at 1.19 ohms vaping at 12 watts.
Super easy build and wick, easy installation into the Boro, flavor is excellent, and airflow is like a baby's butt.

TL;DR Anyone want to buy a VapeShell?

Absolutely. Best BB vape I've had. My onlu two issues are the media blasted finish and the clamps.
After a while the deck will look like crap between building and taking the barrel on and off the deck. No biggie really since the outside will look fine.
The clamps won't lay flat when tightened which leads me to believe that they'll bend down the road. No proof of that but I wouldn't be surprised.

When I looked at it via pictures the clamps reminded me of how the Hadaly was...where if the screws were just a few Rockwell harder and the clamp also a harder steel it would be great.

I know media blasted titanium wears quicky...CRK knife handles are great and brand new have this certain feel...that wears quick.

Maybe the Xeta can be the RBA to get me back

I shit you not though, best BB vape I've ever had. Granted I never had an authentic Exocet or Insider so I can't speak to those really.

Compared to the VapeShell though the airflow is smoother, quieter, and the vape is more flavorful. I also get better throat if that's something you're into. It has more depth to it if you get what I mean.

and the Dvarw arrives tomorrow for you!

New packaging for the Dvarw's also Brew... no more plastic tubes like the Xeta has.

I've resisted so far but I can't take my BB to work, only cheap stuff that gets beat up. Hell I lost a setup a few weeks ago. Might have to cave in...

You can find them for around 20 dollars now. Another 5 for the rba. I’m probably going to pick up another to have on hand.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. Which chimney insert did you use? I'm using the same airflow in mine. I love it!

I HATE THIS THING!!!!!!

Yes, I AM screaming!

I am developing a Goldiocks complex with these things. Used the tiny insert, it was too tight ( I thought), switched to the middle one, it was OK, but maybe a bit too loose:headbang:
I switched back to the smallest insert, seems good now. The problem is the coil (me thinks) it is 2.5 mm ID, 5/6 wraps SS clapton 32/38 at 1.76 ohms. As we all know, SS in authentic BB tends to suck donkey balls since resistance tends to drift upwards. My nichrome 80 should arrive tomorrow I hope, then we'll see. The SS clapton was the only wire I found so, there you have it.
I would like an insert half way between the smallest and the the middle one, might find the time for a short trip to Hobby Lobby, we'll see.
I vape 50/50 juices and flavor is very good, TH seems stronger than the Dvarw.

The one you think to tight may prove perfect with a 2mm coil (allow a tad more flow)

:gaah:
The smallest insert and chimney are spot on for me as a tight.
Think Don just nailed it with the 2mm.
Thats what I'm using. Next build is a clapton, 2.5, 1 more size up on insert and chimney.

I agree, but I don't have the time right now. I will definitely try a 2 mm coil, as soon as I get the Nichrome.
2mm is what I'm using, too. Definitely give that a shot. If you're not happy with it still, I'll trade you a VapeShell with MTL pins and some cash
I get some ohm drift up with SS but not enough to suck donkey balls, at least so I thought. Will have to try some Ni80. Never used it much, maybe I'm missing out (?)
Hmmmm
I used to strictly build with SS. Don kept talking about nichrome so I thought I'd give it a shot and haven't looked back.
Flavor is just as clean as SS but it ramps up faster and it's easier to work with. Less springy.

Hmmmm

All I use from my mech cloud days, was able to hit .09 consistently without wandering.

Then I just had so much of it, just kept using it.

Now I build simple Clapton coils with it, most of the time not even caring about the ohms it comes to being on a regulated, but for me it’s the only type of metal besides titanium I can tolerate with the juice I vape...and since I don’t tc, don’t use titanium anymore.

As for missing out, doubt it... some say they can’t stand the taste Nichrome gives off, which is true I’ve experienced it with salts, I just rebuild more often.

So in Messing with temp Control on the BB 40, I have yet to run into temp protection. Such a better vape than what was going. 28g ss. .84 ohms but kept jumping. So decided I'd try tc again. Ut ne er tried on this one. Just the SXK 60s and 70s. Much better on the 40.

Another list going up Saturday. Tempted but I think I'm good with one.

I don't get any off taste from ni80. SS and ni80 definitely tastes cleaner than kanthal to me. Just have always preferred SS.
I've used a fair share of those VV mtl ni80 coils in rta's just not in the BB. Wasn't really paying much attention to the drift till Bear mentioned it.
I really need to get some more wire and spin my own instead of using spooled from LV or premade. Limited in gauge selection.

I'm definitely going for a second one. There's a list going up in The Shed FB group, too. I'd go for both but I'm afraid of hitting twice

Hmm... trade ya a Xeta for a GTR

Seriously though, one of you with the authentic should buy the clone to compare.
