Tank seals

Hi all,

Hope this is the right place for this ....

I have used my Youde V1 Zephyrus tank for years as my first thing in the morning vape, I love this tank and it's restricted draw of a morning. Prob is I now have worn out the last juice fill seal that came in the box and the tank loses its vacuum, anyone know of ANYWHERE I might find the seals, or is it a case of having to replace the tank.

Any help/suggestions will be much appreciated

I have the spares plus the tank for the V2. I also have a V2 new in unopened box. Maybe you can check around see if they're compatible.

Hi Big,

Unfortunately they changed the design with the V2 so the top juice filler seals are not compatible, but my grateful thx for the quick reply.

I even tried Youde themselves but, unfortunately, they chose not to reply :(

Thx for the reply Bunny, no spare seals unfortunately.

I have tried searching but no luck so far. Trying the forums in the hopes that someone has a defunct tank but still has the seal set. Quite happy to pay whatever is reasonable plus postage.

Are you talking about the silicone seal under the sliding top? If so, not sure. You may be out of luck, I was when a similar top seal wore down on my ehpro bachelor. I hate when they use proprietary silicone pads/seals like that and then don't offer replacements. Like you know it's going to receive heavy wear, why not offer them? If it was an o-ring I'd say to try and measure it best you can and check fasttech, they have a huge assortment of all different sized o-rings for cheap. But not those specialty seals.

Hi Synphul,

It is a small proprietary plug and yep, one would think that the company would offer replacements, unfortunately vape companies, especially Chinese ones tend not to think of the customer post purchase.

I think I will have to buy the complete tank just for the two small seals.....that's a bummer because I don't want to change my morning tank I have used for so long......even for another one the same......I hate change ;(

is this it?

If so it's only $10 for the whole thing.

Thx for the reply Sick,

It's around 2x that price outside of the US and not the point......I don't want to change my old friend for a new one unless I absolutely have to.....looking increasingly like I am going to have to.......bummer! It also seems such a waste in this chuckaway society to scrap an entire, wonderful wee atty for the sake of a simple little seal that is sitting on a shelf somewhere by the boxful.

This is the very tank that got me off the fags after 30 years of smoking, where nothing else could....it saved my life

I understand sentemental value..
That Bunny, and the fact that I have to scrap a perfectly serviceable tank because the Chinese don't give a toss about after sales service. There are probably a million of these seals sitting on various shelves across the planet but no one wants to sell them, they would rather sell you another tank. the throw away mentality doesn't sit right with a grumpy old curmedgeon like me ;).

Think I will see whether I can get a couple 3 D printed, couple of friends have 3D printers though I don't know re drawings etc for conversion in the software to get it to print the correct size?
