I personally like my parallel 26650 box mod. I've been using .08ohm dual coil for two weeks on it. My batteries will last me an entire day until I go home and for a few hours at home. Lol, you should compromise. Dual parallel 26650s run in series. No such thing as unnecessary, lol. Double your voltage, quadruple your amp limit.
I have the copper BFM already and absolutely love it..my brother has the dual 26650 (parallel) box mod from VosVape..my clouds are damn near as big as his with my single 26650 copper BFM..two 26650's in series might be too much, but its worth thinking about...lol

Cloud video. Details in the description.

EDIT: LOL, Maestro Vapes is apparently featuring in this also... Gotta remember to turn those off when recording.

Another one. Did a few improvements later on, wrapped around 3mm screwdriver to improve wicking. Yeah, clouds bro. Not clouds for days as my battery can only manage about 20 good pulls... :D But in the competitions thats more than i need.

What RDA and build are you using?
What does the ohm meter read?

Thanks, that build pulls about 52A/220 watts...sounds a little hot..I might give it a try in my zenith on my BFM..but the
26650 battery is only rated at 30A cont/50A pulse, and even at 3500 mAh
I don't think it would last more than a dozen pulls.. I don't participate in competitions but I do enjoy busting out some serious clouds sometimes..

Yeah, its a badass build. I use Sony 26650 batteries when messing with these, supposed to be 50 amp continuos. Nearly impossible to come by :/

One second pull off my Doge. Cloud chasing with 100% mech setups is extremely intriguing and satisfying. Especially when someone with a God Box etc thinks they are blowing big clouds, you come around with a simple tube mech, small atty and absolutely fog the place. All about the skill of the builder, cant cheat by just pushing insane watts to half-assed builds. This is my thing.

I'm with you there, Rommel!
The right build on my simple tube mods
with a small RDA, like the zenith on my XXIX, blows huge, thick clouds..its truly amazing how a little 18650 mod can hit so hard! Its all about using the right build, least it's that way with me...

Love all these cloud pics. I'll throw a few in the mix.

I haven't built a "real" cloud chasing setup in a couple months but here are a couple shots of the last one.

DIY dual series 18650 Box w a MutationX, 26ga plain dual coils at 0.44 ohm. 19 amps.

Gotta try the video and screenshot method next time. Didn't have long enough arms for this shot. The density was real. Been trying to replicate this vape with an IPV3 ever since. It can't be done.

Wow, some amazing clouds on here! Does the e-juice matter for milky clouds? Is there a brand or flavor that is best? Thanks guys

If I had to "classify" myself, I'm more into flavor chasing. But clouds are fun too! ;)

great pics ladies and gentlemen! @shooter03 got some monster clouds! Wonder if the accuWeather satellites picked those up

High VG juice tends to make thicker clouds, and the PG acts as a flavor carrier. A good percentage for clouds would be around 80/20 (VG-PG). Some people use 100% VG but with a pure VG juice the flavors only start coming out after steeping for a while. I make our juice 80/20 and usually can vape it immediately after mixing, then after a few days it just gets better in flavor. Just look for juices that state "high VG blend" or 80/20 blends.

I noticed any PG in my juice makes my coils pop and crackle like crazy....I got spit back burning my tongue using the chuff cap on my dark horse for clouds...Now I use VG max without the spit back or the snap crackle and pop issues..

I also read somewhere that PG is used to thin out thick VG for use in tanks like the ProTank anything to avoid dry hits because those little coils don't wick VG max very well at all...don't know for sure, .I drip 100% VG and use it in my Arctics ...just sayin

Yes it does that too, but for clouds (which this thread is about) I figured that thinning out juice sounds a little irrelevant ;)

Agreed......but hey, nobody's perfect staying on topic sometimes.... And to clarify a little I blow my biggest and best clouds with a custom mixed 100% VG juice from my local shop... Just sayin

My iPV Mini2 and Herakles at 70 watts.

Pretty good cloud using a tank! ....I have the Arctic/IPV3 and with the .2ohm coil at 65w and can't blow clouds as big as yours with the Herkales.. (However my mechs and RDA's are king of the clouds..lest they are for me...lol)

ipv3, 1.4ohm standard single microcoil, doge v2 from congrevape, 30 pg/70 vg juice vaping at 36.3w on 2 day old batteries
think ive found my zen zone haha. excellent flavor, as far as clouds let me know how im doing. more of a flavor chaser but i feel like this little box and doge are chucking some decent clouds.

Hooray for series! 0.3 is pretty low... over 200W! I like it. What gauge/wraps/type of wire and wick were you using?

I gotta get me some MOSFETs so I can mess around with unregulated boxes again. I have a homemade dual series 18650 but its just dying to weld a switch (no FET or fuse even). I keep trying to come up with a way to mount the 4nine button on top of a 1590G for a real mech box but a small momentary switch and MOSFET are easier to place. First world problems...

IPV3/Dark Horse with dual 24g kanthel micro coils/organic cotton at .25 ohms
Cool, thick vapor at 60w on the IPV3.
Wide open airflow with the chuff cap..
This build is a juice hog! Lol
