Hello! I’m curious as to what your favorite games are. I didn’t see a thread for this.

I like rpg and shooter games. My favorite game currently is dragon age inquisition. It’s an older game but I keep replaying it over and over again. I also like diablo (xone).

What about everyone else?

:bliss:

Not your bad, it might be a basic gaming talk thread, was just trying to point you in the right direction.

I don't have time to play anymore so don't check those ones out

I only play with my oldest son. So its whatever he likes. He is still deep into breath of the wild and with the expansion pack it is pretty damn cool.

Will be dating myself here. Don't care. I enjoy playing Chrono Cross, some of the Harvest Moon series, the older Game Cube version of Animal Crossing, Shadow Madness, Free Dink. One I like to play with my wife is Operation Desert Storm. It lets us goof off and run around in game shooting one another, it also has crafty tanks to avoid or blow up. We have fun out of playing a "not it" style of game we call "tank bait". I like 2048, Pysolfc as well. Not really much of a "gamer". Used to enjoy Killer Instinct 4 Gold.

Brawlhalla on Steam, it's free to play and really fun with a friend and a mic

I'll try about any game my computer can handle (on Steam or PC) if someone will play with me

I did as well when it was in the arcade in Harrisonburg, VA, Valley Mall. Also played some altered Beast around then & Gauntlet, Galaxia, Centipede.

Still enjoyed pinball, fooze ball, air hockey, darts, bowling. We also used to go around for pickup hoops at times, or just play Horse. Played a little tennis though it wasn't exactly one we enjoyed much.

Then, I also went round to places like Blue Hole, Half Moon Beach, swam, paddle boated, canoed, fished. We built a small wash away damn from stone and silt one Summer. Swung with a rope off a high river bank that let us drop into 12-15 ft of water from around 60-70 ft off the "cliff". We also stalked, tracked, hunted, trapped.

Being weird I liked going up to the stock yard and helping as "contract" with the auctions. Sure we had Atari at home, then Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genisis, Playstation. My younger brothers "grew up" more on video games than me. I used play Pac Man and get a line of crowns covering the top. Would piss off my step dad, that and playing Tetris like mad, beating him. Since that was the way he was, I lost interest in it.

Besides what's a country boy need TV games for? I'll go climb a tree. Go lay in the river wait to catch a turtle crawling by. Go roust out some rabbit, go wander the woods, hike a mountain tracking a cougar. I had more natural Hell to raise and keep me occupied. A better "game" was seeing how close you could get stalking critters, or running from them as bait so the men could protect the farm. Then, lead the forest ranger in to the mama's den to get her three kits. They got transplanted elsewhere after being raised up to be turned free.

Sure, I played some video games. Liked a few but also had some balance in life. Like some card games, board games too, but again still not something I'm overly "caught up" in.

my fav games are okami, hellblade senua's sacrifice, nier automata, killer is dead, remember me, and gris.
artsy games mostly. ones you remember and ponder after you stopped playin em.
sadly most peeps dont really consider video games as an art form like film.
but anyway, i recommend them if you like either story driven games. or visually stunning games. oh yeaaaa prince of persia 2008. forgot that. it has a great soundtrack. and a good romance. terrible combat tho.

i was thinking about getting death stranding. cuz i liked alot of the visuals and lil i saw of story. but the gameplay is....zzzzz. so hard pass on that one. kojima made the mistake of being his own game editor.
and
it
shows
:'-(

Off. I don't even know where to start. Dishonored 2 and Death of the Outsider, Rainbow six siege, Battlefield 5, Dying Light, The Elder Scrolls Online, Hell Let Loose, Squad, Metro 2033 Redux-Last Light-Exodus, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor- Shadow of war, PUBG, PC Building Simulator, Rising Storm 2 Vietnam. Yeah that pretty much covers it :xD:

Anyone ever play the fable series? I always loved fable and am going to pick myself up the series for my xbone after Christmas when I hopefully have extra cash!
I played Fable 3 about 9 years ago and loved it! I was so hooked i beat it in 2-3 days.

I dont game at all these days but all week i've been looking at xbox bundles and having the urge to buy one. Monday they were on a good sale. Now the price went back up and i cant justify the purchase.

I loved the whole series and always beat them within a few days too! I’d make a new character and keep replaying until I could recite the whole game lol. I haven’t played any of them in years so I want to start again. I like the option of having good vs evil characters. Makes the game more interesting when you can play different versions of yourself.

I played 1 & 2 a few years back. They were good games. You won't be disappointed
Oh I’ve never been disappointed with those games! I’ve played every series and loved them all! I by accident gave them to my oldest son so I want to pick up my own games for myself so I don’t have to take them back, I’d feel wrong about doing that.

Yeah I’ve done that! I even made a pure hearted character... got bored and went pure evil halfway through the game lol. It’s always fun going back and forth but after awhile the games do get boring with the repetitive scenarios.

I don't play any games anymore. They're all 3d now and I get sick when I play 3d games. Sigh. Have fun for me.

Brawlhalla is a 2D platform game, and my favorite - my Steam username is Skibidi Bralala

I also play 2D chess on lichess.com, my name is RightyRosebrook on there

Games I play (a small list):

WoW
Diablo (1, 2, and 3)
GMOD (Mainly ZS)
Ark
Don't Starve
7 Days to Die
Conan Exiles
Forest
Path of Exile
PUBG
Rust
Space Engineers
DOOM

...and any other of the 300+ games I have on Steam that I tend to load up from time to time. I do have an XBOX One X that got the shit used out of it at first, but now sits and gathers dust.

All in all, I like a lot of survival games.

I don't play much. Until about a month ago, all we had was an Xbox 360. We got a PS4 and I started playing a few games. MLB The Show 19 is pretty sweet. I'm a basbeball fan so it makes sense. There's a few others I like too I guess.

I tried to like Fallout 4 and StarWars Batllefront? But the spinning around pointing weapons gets me sick, literally sick. It messes me up for hours. I get this weird feeling in my head and my stomach hurts. I have to lie down after that.. Motion sickness maybe? I guess I'm not built for FPS.

That's likely what it is. Motion sickness.

As for the op, yeah I am a huge Diablo and Doom fan myself. Always and forever. As soon as I get my PC all up to date (because PC master race and all - LOL) I plan on going full AR/VR. I just have a few pieces and parts to finish my shit.

I used to play Diablo so much that my hand would get tired of clicking, and I'd switch to using my foot, no joke. Then I figured out about keyboard attacking hehe

I still think about playing it on occasion, it was a major time sink for me in high school

I became an insomniac when Diablo first came out! I never stopped playing! My brother would have to kick me off the computer! Now we’re adults, live on our own and have our own systems lol

I'll always be a gamer at heart. Since my dad brought an Atari I to the home, it's always held a place as the best God damn time sink in the world.

Besides, I have a 1year old, and he likes the flashy colors. Not only of the keyboard and mouse, but what shows up on screen. The squeals that come out of his mouth when I fire up the newest game.

He'll watch it until he passes out too. Granted, from time to time, I get bored playing games, and focus on chasing his tiny human ass around the house. Again, squeals trailing behind him. It's days like today where I miss being home more often.

Yeah i actually have to start having my 2 year old to use a plastic cup and it’s the one last thing I can’t let go of! It’s his last comfort! And he’s my baby so I’m not ready for the baby stage to end!

I ain't ready to let his baby side go. He was a quiet baby, now, he's a rowdy asshole. LOL. He's still a cute kid, just wild and gets excited when I walk in the door.

He also like the baby shark song.

I don't play games anymore, but I grew up in the 1980s with arcade shooters like Galaga, Salamander, and Xenon. When PCs got more powerful with the arrival of the 486 CPU, I also played Wolfenstein 3D a lot, next came Doom and Doom 2, and Heretic. After that, online multiplayer Quake III Team Arena (in Capture The Flag mode). Soon began the era of the famous invincible Logitech MX518 mouse, and Halo Combat Evolved (the PC version only). Around that time all the rest didn't appeal to me much despite I did continue my search for new and interesting PC games. So I got on WoW from day one, on a European PvE server, played only one char, rogue class, at the hardcore level. Then I quit WoW after the guild disbanded, quit mostly due to the impact of class imbalance on how top guilds weren't recruiting any rogues whatsoever back then.

The most fun I ever had in an MMORPG was soon after I came back on WoW the day when they released The Burning Crusade expansion. Especially 5 man heroics were both challenging and fun, and, the epic items I got from clearing these were better than the "noob instance" aka Karazhan. Several months after I got all rewards from keep farming 5 man heroics for badges, the game gradually started to become more boring again. It having been turned into "World Of Rangecraft" really began to take its toll, daily quests were like watching paint dry, who gives a flying fuck about "achievements", raids were always same recipe different sauce, you know... but nevertheless I decided to stay on WoW, and then finally I got Wrath Of The Lich King expansion, also on release day. I hated it on so many levels that it almost made me want to puke. I just kept wanting to quit WoW once and for good, which, at long last, I did. I had lost my whole interest in gaming altogether.
