Having been a widowed male now for 7 years I have found that women who are single are single for a reason.... When on the first date say such things as , and these are actual quotes, " could you pay my rent for the month I'm broke" " I need $500 to fix my car " " I don't put out on the first date" "can u get a room at the hotel up the road my husband in due home tonight" needles to say Ive not had a date last more than 45 minutes without getting up and walking away.

Once upon a time, I was a moderator on a board where a lot of members met-up and/or dated. No dating section or anything... ...it just happened a lot. As a mod, I got all of the juicy tidbits. Wasn't pretty... ...quite disastrous actually. People wound up in jail. Only two shacked-up and got married and quite honestly, I'm not sure which one of them was more fucked in the head. They were perfect for each other, in a way.
And this community was extremely close-knit... ...we were all fam. And yet, shit never worked out for any of them romantically. Just a lot of drama.
I will say that we never intervened unless shit got really crazy (it's a nightmare to deal with that shit as a mod.) I mean, if people wanna do that, then so be it. Wouldn't recommend it though.

Why, you wanna take a crack at it? Too bad. Doesn't exist anymore. It died like two years ago when the admin took a shit on the DB and never fixed it. Also, not kosher here XD. Let's just say it was a place for loonies and possibly criminals and leave it at that.
Might've had something to do with why it didn't work out now that I think about it. Getting a bunch of fucked up individuals together on the internet and letting them pair-up is just asking for trouble.
Might not be like that here. I don't see why people can't just converse and then just catch each other at a meet-up or something, though. A dating section isn't needed for people to hook up.
This was a really old thread that's been more active in the last couple days than when it actually began. Pushing 2 years old and not even a full page yet.
