Smok X Priv looking for internal components that attach to the center pin.

Smok X PRIV mod and I need all the components that make up the center pin that including the clear small rubber piece that holds the spring inside the center pin, the spring, center pin (which has a solder joint thats connected to the 16G or 18g white wire in the picture) itself that is surrounded by a black, rubber grommet that you can see when you twist the atomizer into the Smok X Priv Module. The Gold Smok X Priv in the picture had a birds eye like view of the picture that you can see the center pin. The 5/10 thread on the Module is capable of (the TFV12 Atomizer threads into it) coming off and thats where you would see every part of the centering pin that I need excluding the clear thin rubber piece (that goes over the spring) and spring. I'm sure they sell all of this in a kit or on a website that sells used Module components but I have only found adapters to replace the 5/10 center pin (that the atomizer thread into) and it includes everything so you do not need to solder any wires like I have to just to access the spring itself. I also need to know the thickness of the white wire which I believe is 16 or 18g because I attempted to solder the wire to the back end of the center pin and ended up having to cut the wire several times where now it's down to the motherboard.View attachment 157800

Thought I had replied to this suggesting Fat Daddy's? If not this exact one then one quite similar. I think @Jinx'd has a good idea as well. I am all for being self sufficient, making repairs but when you can get something that'll cost you less time than it takes repairing, well you need to balance. In part this is why I dislike regulated devices. Any aspect of the circuitry can go bad and leave you with a hunk of junk you may have paid $70+ to get.

Mechanical mods on the other hand don't have that many pieces to go wrong. If they do go wrong you can usually effect a "fix" in ten to fifteen minutes with some simple toggling, tweaking. You might be a day to order something and get it shipped in a week, or a day to a local hardware shop. You don't need an electronics degree to figure out a circuit board. You're not at the whim of the circuit board either. Yes, some mechanical mods can be costly. But there's also mid grade ones running for $30 or less that work a treat.

Quick example, I got a brass Coppervape. It cost me about $35 with paying shipping on it. A repair parts kit for it cost me about $3 to $4 given shipping. I've had that mod for almost five years now. I think I used a repair kit for it last about two years ago. It holds an 18650 battery, connects a squonk bottle to a female 510 pin that houses any 510 male RDA. Push on the fire button it puts pressure on the sprig arm that contacts the battery, creates a circuit. Simple, effective and easy to troubleshoot. I also have a few Aluminum versions of this type of mod. I've dropped these a few times, and some are bent "out of shape". I'd need a metal shop to repair those, or a hard rock and hammer.

Point being, I keep it simple. Doing so well, keeps it simple. :)

... because it's defying his efforts to do so :D How well I understand.

*chuckles* I understand it as well. Oh how I used to fight to wick tiny 1 mm inner diameter coils with that crappy tube Eckowool stuff.

But there's a point where determination gives way to better sense, at least you might hope. :D :)

He's been on other sites asking this as well. :D Which there's not a thing wrong with, I just got the impression it's a bit of a showdown fix thing.
