What do you think of the snail vs the shell, strictly vape wise?
Same coil in both. Snail has a little more flavor than the shell. Both are about the same to build. Have both wide open and snail has more air

What do you guys think before I install them. Got clear panels coming for this one. I thought they'd be shiny but they're brushed which looks good too I think. Not using this button though. Keeping the blue

I have some blue titanium screws from Koncio Mods if you're interested. The set includes the screws for the battery negative terminal.

This thread is dormant. Here's a hand check of my latest acquisition.

And here's the control side:

upload_2020-5-22_11-37-17.jpeg

I'm undecided on what color boro to use. Prior to the pictures I had a Mums black bone marrow with an EUC coil. This one is red. I really just wanted to use up the juice in it but it's not looking too bad. The atty is a SXK Bridg'd clone running a fused dual clapton at 0.53 ohms.

I have a Blue Titanium Haku Xeta arriving any day that I plan on using in this unit.

Has anyone here ordered from VapeSmugglers? They have some great looking stuff with really good prices imo.

That looks awesome. I do blue with the orange a lot as well, always looks sharp. Sometimes I just hate hiding all that beautiful orange though, lol.

The drip tip and the button on the Kurbis Billet Box pictures I posted are both from Vape Smugglers. They did not ship very quickly but the tips and the buttons that I ordered were pretty nice. The hybrid tips are aluminum with acrylic. The buttons are matching acrylic and are machined properly so they won't punch a hole in the switch.

Once in the past I ordered some e-juice and a squonk bottle from them. (I own a BMM TiNY v2.5.) I did not get the squonk bottle in my order so I sent them an email to inform them. I re-sent the email two additional times and tried to call them. I never got a response nor could I ever get through by phone. I ended up just writing it off as a loss.

Thanks. I ordered a couple of hybrid tips, and 3 buttons. What would be wrong to damage the switch? Mine did not ship yet, so hope it's not too long. Also sounds like I hope I don't have to deal with customer service for any reason o_O

Some of the button makers that I've been trying are not rounding the little nub on the bottom that actually comes in contact with the pressure switch. Here's a picture of what a JMK stainless button did on my Billet Box after one day of use.

You can see the little circle imprint where it was starting to cut into the switch. When I inspected the actual button it had very sharp edges. It actually felt like the hole punches that were used in the metal shop I worked in many years ago. I sure that after a long enough period of use they would cut into the switch.

I started looking at other buttons, comparing them to the very nicely machined BBV buttons. Koncio Mods titanium buttons and JMK buttons both needed to be modified so that they would not leave an imprint. Signature Tips, Box Mod Mafia and Never Normal were machined nice enough that I did not have to do anything to them.

Ok. Just don't tell me there's something else I missed. I ordered every part I know of for the Vapesnail :wait:
But,did you order the silicone condensation plug and cotton inserts that are only available from Atimizoo haha.I don't know why SXK didn't clone that piece too.

Been a good vapemail week this week.My Vapesnail clone finally got here after 28 days, and i got my new gasket for the Boxxer V2 from Odis,so finally got it back into use too. These are definitely my 2 favorites, although the Flow V2 and Xeta are both very good too,but just can't beat the Boxxer, especially now that i can use it without leaking haha.

Yea I gotta see how the blue ones I just got match up to the RPG. May see if I can find a better match if they're not close. But I may just leave it alone

I think just safety so it will not put a hole in the actually button, they should be swappable

That has to be why they do it. To keep from damaging the switch/button.

On my aftermarket ones, I put a tiny piece of tape on there for the same reason.
Thanks, I figured but wasn't sure. I have done BBV in SXK with no problem, but haven't tried the other way around.

I just cut a little square of either electrical or cellophane tape for clear ones, and stick it on that little nub on the underside of the button. Minimizes rattle and protects the switch.

I have run into a situation where I tried the 'piece of electrical tape' trick and the button was too tight. I believe it was a JMK stainless button. Although it didn't fire, I could tell the switch was partially depressed and there was almost no travel. It made me a bit nervous. So I rounded the little nub with a wire brush on a dremel tool and all was good.
