I have two Cana clones and have to admit that these are the best APVs that I've ever used. They are reliable and the form factor is just perfect. My KFLs are just perfect on them. Yes, they have a couple of minor quirks but for the price, they just can't be beaten!

I agree 100%. I am truly impressed with my cloupor version that is the same color as the one you posted (on the right).

Good On You!

I have one on the way as well.

Does the charger light ever turn green?

That seems to be the big question about them.

My lights never turn green but they do stop charging as verified with a DVM.

was curious about this one. I have never used a VV mod and wanted to chick either this clone or an authentic Semovar. I think it might be this one though because I don't want to drop 200 bucks on a mod right now lol

I've noticed on my Cana that my battery will just drain... without even using it... full charged, then overnight it will sit and be almost dead.

Grimm... mine don't seem to do that? I wonder which version you have? Mine are both Cloupors with the latest updates. They do sometimes require an extra press of the fire button to wake them up, but that's the only issue I have with mine.

I love my cana but I put magnets on the lid as I didn't like the idea of the battery being trapped in there by the screws

It looks a bit bodge-it-n-fudge-it but it works well. They're just 4mm and 5mm earth magnets from fasttech. I put on a couple of extra in case any get knocked off. Stuck on with epoxy resin, they're fixed solid. I wouldn't contemplate having such volatile power locked up.

Chris I have to admit this is the first device (other than when I was coiling gennies when I first began vaping - they scared the tits off me lol) that I'm constantly cautious of. But that's not a bad thing. I'll just add that it also sits next to my bedside

I was wondering about having to hit the fire button to wake it like I've heard about in some reviews, but mine fires up on the first click every time. I wonder if it's been updated.

They fixed the "Wake up" issue with the newest batch, they will fire on the first button press.

Just got mine on Monday, woke up this morning to it firing on its own!! Contacted the vendor first thing. Was working fine all day yesterday and then woke up to it's snap crackle and pop. It was even firing when it said "Too Hot" Battery was a VTC5. Dont see any battery damage, put in another fully charged and it didnt do it, fired it worked and then put it down and started to hear it fire again. Hoping that the vendor will not give me any issues with replacing. Just had my 40th birthday, hit 1 year not smoking, need my mod.....

Who did you get it from and which clone is it?

101vape, I have never gotten anything bad from them and they have always been good to me. It's not their fault for the malfunction, it would be cloudpors. They are just the seller, I'm just hoping for some knock your socks off customer service in this time of need. Got the green one it is the most updated version.

I purchased a cana clone from 101vape few weeks ago. After using it for about 30 minutes the screen went out, still fired though. I took the battery out for a hour, put it back in, and there was a bunch of scrambled dots then blanked out again. I emailed customer support and told them the problem, in a couple hours I got a response saying they were sorry and they sent me a new email with a pre paid return label to printout and use for the return. I was expecting that I would have to pay shipping since thats what their return policy said, so the prepaid label was real nice. That prepaid label had a tracking number. After the tracking said they had recieved it, I waited for a couple days and emailed them and asked for their answer what was going to happen, they sent me email saying takes a few days after delivery for them to process. I waited 2 more days and sent another more stern email saying it's been 5 days since delivered to them and I wanted to know what they were going to do? Customer sent me email saying that they didn't have the bad unit that I sent them but since I used their label, and it said it was delivered to them they would send me new one that day. They did and I got the newer version, so long story, they made the issue fixed. I was happy and have no problems with them and would feel good using them again.

I've had good experiences with 101vape, but ordered my cana from elev8vape and it's a cloupor. Ya'll are making me nervous with all these issues. I haven't had any yet though.

Just talked to 101vape, and they were apologetic of the issue and asked me to send it back so they can replace it. Asked them about return shipping label but have not heard back, and that would be he knock your socks off customer service if they do. I am however very happy that they are goin to replace it whether I pay shipping or they do. Getting it ready to hit the PO right now.

This is one I've just opened this moment. I haven't done anything. It's how it's come from fasttech.

I haven't tAken off my little red thingy screen but looking threw it it looks like hot glue is everywhere. But after looking at this it gives me hope changing the voltage up down buttons. Also is that a button top battery. How does it fit I know my flat tops are really tight in there.

Yes it the efest which fasttech send with the box. But I use slightly longer ones now, so I squeezed the battery housing connection tabs with pliers to add some room. What do you mean 'the red screen'? The lid/cover?

Oh I get what you mean. The fasttech ones don't come with that cover over the circuit boards and wiring

Ohhhh fasttech way to pump em out lol. But seriously yours seem to be working alright. It just takes so long to get anything from fasttech. My last order from them just arrived after about 6 1/2 weeks. The funny thing is I forgot all about it.

That's the key to buying from fasttech lol

Did you have to cut the magnets in order to make them fit into the cover and inner case? I'm looking to do something similar. You did a nice job on yours!

Thanks. No, I just put them in. 4mm would make them flush with the case's lid but you could use larger. You'd just have to ensure the magnets on the main body are 1mm lower and not flush. I'd advise placing them lower anyway because the adhesive on the lids magnets will add an extra 1mm in height. Does that make sense?

Ok, so you bought your magnets packaged as cubes, got it. My device is configured like st_andrew's, which hopefully means that I can just use one size and not worry about sticking anything in the main body where the wires are.

That sounds easier, less hassle. But what will the magnets stick too? I don't suffer from any interference.

I see your point. Bar magnets - or stacked cubes - could be placed in the gaps above and below where the battery is housed, and/or cube magnets could be placed on the red plastic cover that protects the wires.

<sigh> I just may have to live with the screws when it comes down to it.

You might be able to place the magnets below the cover. Idk. They are very powerful. We can move them around by holding one under the table without even touching the table underside (things you do when you're bored lol)

Hobby Kid, did you use fine grit sandpaper to roughen the surfaces of your magnets and/or clone in order to get your epoxy to bond properly? Thanks for your help again :)

It occurred to me today that my NES DNA drains, admittedly not overnight but over a few days unleft

I received my clone, Clouper DNA30, from VaporTek a little more than a week ago. It is Blue if that makes any difference. I waited quite a while before it back in stock.

The thing is, I have had no trouble with it what-so-ever. It has been working perfectly. That with heavy use. Batteries last 8 to 10 hours, again with heavy use. I have taken to using the USB to keep it charged while at the pc. Just wanted to throw my 2cents in the ring. I'm a very happy camper, now I must knock real hard on some wood.

Every Cana I've gotten from ft has that sleep mode / wake up function. I think that confirms it's not Evolvs DNA
