Well...my first multi mix and not really sure how to judge it...Not sure how to give this recipe in percentage just yet but what i mixed was just slightly over recommendation (per tod muller calculator)what a 10ml batch would call for at 10 percent single flavoring.

20 drops of FA jamaican rum
Added 10 drops of FA coconut
Added 5 drops of FA cream fresh.

If you try, feel free to post your opinion good or bad.

sounds good. if it were me I'd try bringing that down a bit though. thats probably around 9-11% total flavoring. for FA thats kinda a lot. Maybe consider trying 2% rum (8 drops) 1% fresh cream (4 drops) and 0.75% coconut. (3 drop) per 10-12mls :) I bet your version is good though just not necessary to use that much of your precious flavour art :) just a dab will do ya

Mike, I like the flavors in your mix. I bet that's pretty damn good! I'd lower it, too. I know you have to be super-psyched about your order. It's the best thing in vapeland when you get vapemail, especially new DIY stuff!

Have you made any single flavors to see how you prefer them yet? That's a big help in itself. Regardless, I like the flavors you put together, so I'm gonna add this to my "to mix" notebook.

Congrats, Mike! :)

I have bad sinuses or allergies one...I usually get 30 percent flavor boost from the place i bought juice from...I taste it for a few hits then everything is just sweet more less...I have ideas just not much on actually judging them and of course no experience with percentages to find a good flavor mix.

Oh boy, you're in for a treat! This is just one more reason I love DIY. When I started out, I had to mix everything pretty high. Eventually I wasn't liking anything. When I started following recipes like Hic's and wllmc's I had to increase everything just a tad more than they wrote them. It didn't take long, I just started mixing them as written. It didn't take any time for me to transition to less flavoring.

I started mixing good stuff, with their help, and things were tasting great. What impressed me most was that I was able to discern between different nuances of each recipe. I was tasting individual flavors, rather than one strong thing with a little of another. I can't recall how long you've been vaping now, but your taste buds will keep changing. Flavors I used to have no use for are now staples in my DIY. The longer you keep at it, you'll notice the less flavoring you'll eventually need.

Mix it up the way you like it. That's what DIY is for, right? Don't be surprised if your taste buds play tricks on ya later. They're getting well, lol. Keep giving us stuff to mix! This is fun.

I started keeping and re-using bottles for personal use. Wash 'em, re-use 'em. I need to get some small ones, myself, for flavor swappin'.

Banana was my next mix with the rum...not sure how the cream fresh is changing things but was gonna try that next.

I think it gives vapes more body, better mouth feel, without changing your overall flavor when used in small amounts. It's a magical flavor. Creams your coffees, puffs up desserts, adds that "just something" to things that "need something".

Sigh..i need to find a really small rda for sampling...sucks emptying a tank and changing wick on a coil all the time.

I made an espresso cream and gave some to a friend at work to try..hopefully they like it...that i tasted more often than anything so far..a really good coffee aftertaste i got from it...slightly sweet as well..i liked it.

Saw a mini rda at fastech with a single 2.0 ohm coil and a pretty small breather hole i may get.

I bought a Smok RDA for like $6 at a local vape shop. I'm not into dripping, but it suits it's purpose. I generally just load half a tank or less in a mini protank. It always tastes better in my tank.

ETA: I did have to drill it out more.

Speaking of tanks...i may just buy a bunch of the evod clones from fastech and keep each tank dedicated to specific mixes...Wondering if it will have the same effect as some who claim never washing out a tea cup or coffee cup enhances flavor.

I like pyrex tanks. To me the flavor is better. I used to love evods. Used them all the time. After I got my first protank, I couldn't go back to plastic. I have several plastic ones right now. If I have a really strong flavor, they're great for that. This is the dripper I got a while back. Little dude.

Yea..that looks similar to the small ones at fasttech...reviews are saying its a great little flavor sampler..id rather replace a wick with some juice on it than pour out amounts i dont have dedicated bottles to keep it in..then have to pull the wicks in the coils...dry burn the coil and wash out the tank..even then i can smell hints of the last flavor in it.

For now i need to get small bottles..fasttech will be in chinese newyears in a couple days..no way id get my order before mid march sometime if i ordered now...sigh.

There are lots of places for bottles. Most online sellers have them. I've gotten them from like, ECX, Wizard Labs... I know Bull City sells them. I'm gonna check for a link in my files. There's a specialty bottles or something.

Those are awesome!

@RocketPuppy has a list of things in the Tips and Tricks section. Toward the bottom of her list is a clickable link for bottles and such.

I like the looks of that tank you posted! I may have to get some of those. I had a few things I was looking at.

The coils in them arent really all that great...if you have original kanger coils it works as good as an original tank..ive not had a single problem with it...I drilled the breather holes out before i got the v3 af controller ...its not as airy with the v3 as opposed to drilled out holes but it works very well...not to mention looks a heck of alot nicer.

I've never used the afc. I do rebuild my coils, so I'm not concerned about theirs. I'm gonna keep that in mind. Thank for your input on it, Mike.

Lol, I feel like that. I think about getting something like that, but I just really like the simplicity of my protanks. Fill and go.

I think you'll be fine with one of those. Don't some people use a Kayfun without the top part like a dripper?

306-low-resistance-atomizer-drip-tip-636.jpg

They are out of stock right now but I bought half a dozen of these disposible 306 Low Resistance Atomizers for taste testing 6 months ago and only 1 has died. Just 2 or 3 drops and taste. Blow it out and on to the next No muss no fuss.

These are what I'm using now, my 3rd order of them is in transit. Haven't had any problems with them at all! I had thought of getting some extra glass in case I broke some - for the price, I just bought more tanks! I like that I can change the drip tip if I want to. I usually have about 8 of them in use at a time. I like to change flavors, a lot, haven't had vape tongue since I started doing this.

Ive always like the simple kanger tanks...they never have issues...if they do its generally user error...ive never had a single one of my original kanger tanks leak..the coils are simple to build and install...I dont think it gets any better for the price on these tanks (the clones).

I will be ordering more for sure after they finish there holidays.

I shall await my fate on the results...lol
I didn't use it exactly as you have it posted, but I did keep the ratios the same:

2% J.Rum
1% Coconut
0.5% Fresh Cream.

I like your combo, but needed to reduce the flavoring. I'll be loading it up soon!

Yea..i need to try less flavor...I just have i guess vape tongue on a flavor after a few vapes off it...then here and there i may get a hint of it...Not sure if its allergies not allowing me to taste it or what but hope it gets better..i figured after one year of not smoking id have some sense of smell and taste back by now.

How long did you smoke? I can still offer words of encouragement. I started noticing still more changes 1.5 yrs in, just a couple months ago, so you'll likely see changes, still. I may have forced myself, too, just by making everything lower than I was used to. Regardless, you need to enjoy your vape, so if you need it higher, keep it there :)

Yep, me too, just barely. This is the first recipe you posted here, isn't it? You did GOOD Mike. It doesn't need a thing, imo. Perfect ratio, very good flavor and good vapor. I love that coconut.
