Hey y'all. Anyone tried that Turin flavor? I picked it up last week when I was reading all the talk about the Sweet Watermelon, of course had to get both. Stellar Watermelon vape, btw! Well, I'm not usually into tobaccos. I have a bunch, because I've learned that if HIC uses a flavor in a recipe I even think I'll like, I may as well go ahead and get it! I mean, seriously. HIC's flavor descriptions alone? HIC could sell flavor to FlavourArt, for cryin' out loud!

Well, I made the Turin a few days ago. I figured I'd give it the old fashioned "time steep", or as @glassgrl likes to call it, the zen steep method
meditationf.gif
, lol. I got antsy, decided to load it up last night. As I said, I'm not normally a tobacco vaper, but wanted to try this out, and lately, I've had far too many cravings.

Anyway.. it's sweeeeet and frooooty on the inhale, then I get a ditinct br**** flavor (protecting the recipe, lol) and it's not the exhale, the exhale is like a carmelized tobacco, if that makes sense? Hard to describe that, but it was tasty! I'm no connoisseur of flavor, that's for sure, but I can tell you that if you do vape tobaccos regularly, LOL, even if you don't, you'll most likely enjoy this one. This is not light on flavor. Sorry for the long post, but I don't often get excited about a tobacco vape.

I'll be mixing the 3 milky musketeers as soon as my posty gets his ass into gear.
Think I'll up the acetyl pyrazine to 2 percent and shoot for the milky way effect.
I've never used that stuff before, really looking forward to having a dabble

No joke, did 1.5 in a base once and had to double the rest of the ingredients to cover it. I ended up with plenty of that wonderful base though....lol! AP stays tightly closed and rolled up in a ziplock bag in my desk drawer. It takes over wherever it is!

I transferred my AP to a glass bottle. I also made a dilution (of the dilution) to use. That one hits my taste buds differently than a lot of people that have had more success with those recipes. I've not given up hope, though. I know HIC has a genius mind. It will work for me dammit.

New today at HIC's Mixes : Palermo
p palermo tiny.jpg

"Butter rum tobacco. Rich, brown, sun-dried tobaccos are prominent: burley with some Turkish influence. The tobaccos are enhanced with toothsome, nutty butter rum. The overall impression is of a full-flavored, filtered cigarette enjoyed with hot buttered rum. Palermo delivers rich, robust flavor to satisfy both your sweet tooth and your cravings for familiar tobacco flavor."

When I was a smoker, I usually chose American light cigarettes. As a vaper, sometimes my tobacco cravings require stronger flavor than I smoked. Palermo is designed to satisfy that urge to "walk a mile" to the tobacco counter. The familiar tobacco is there, but it's so much tastier with a hot buttered rum.

@HIC - Ok, so I think I purchased 80% of your recipes now. Somehow my computer and credit card went on a spending spree while I was asleep. :D

I sure appreciate your enthusiastic support, and I hope you're enjoying some awesome vapes! (Time to change your password when your cc starts spending behind your back lol)

Ha, why would I change it now? I wake up and am greeted to a new recipe to try? :) I had to order a few more ingredients to make the recipes, but in the meantime I have using your hard work and findings to learn. I used a few of your ice cream bases with strawberry to make an ice cream/milkshake type. Now I'm just trying to tweak the flavoring % when dripping or using a tank. Luckily ECX has 20% off FA right now, so in a couple of days I hope to be able to make your recipes as intended.

Edit: Blue Razz?! Son of a... you just took more of my money. I've been looking for something to mimic a local b&m juice, this may just be it. They have this blueberry/raspberry candy like flavor that is pretty good.

I have a dog, but she is smart. Rather than buy stuff online, she waits until I make the juice and set it aside to steep. Then she sneaks in and takes my mod, chills on the couch drinking beer and enjoying HIC's masterpieces hah. Pretty smart if you ask me.

your dog must be smart, cause opening a can of beer without opposing thumb and forefingers must be difficult !!! lol

Just added to HIC's Mixes : Blue Razzz
View attachment 16822
The flavor of Smurf-blue beverages and frozen treats.
Three recipes are included: Blue Razzz, a Blue Razzz Float, and a Blue Kiwi Margarita.

I did "tag out" some older listings. They'll rotate back through now and then!

Oh, that does sound good. On the list.

After a taste test, I made 30ml of your Blueberry Coconut Smoothie, which means I love it and want it on hand all the time. :D Same goes for Italian Lemon Cream Soda and Orange Soda Pop.

Tried a test of Dulce de Leche Churros. Fresh mixed it was too buttery for me and not spicy enough. Gonna take your advise and let it steep before I give it another try. Then add more spice I suppose?

Yes, you can always add more cinnamon, but careful there. It truly can surprise you after it sits a day or two. If you add, go in steps of 0.5% at a time.

The Dulce de Leche Churros seemed VERY strong (cinnamon wise) the first few days, after about 6 days it's becoming much more rounded as far as a direct taste (bottle to tongue) lol. But vaping it was very different and much more mild even day 3. Fascinating :)

I am FLYING through Quikberry HIC! I absolutely LOVE IT! I am ordering ahead and forecasting out for the whole year's worth of flavors to vape that one and your Chinese Almond Cookie :D

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to set this special "club" up for us all who encourage ourselves to give back to you in the way we can and reimburse your intelligent mind and palate. #HIC'sCULT

@pdxjlb , Thank you for all that praise - it's very motivating! :D That Chinese Almond Cookie is one of my favorites for its simplicity and such accurate flavor. It's like FA flavors were designed with it in mind, so cool when that happens.

This is wonderful!!! After enjoying Turin, like I did, I decided to go for this one, too. I think I like this one a tad more. It's a deeper, richer, full tobacco experience, to me. I say experience... this is for one of those chill, laid back, wanting to enjoy kind of tobacco vapes. I had a hard time putting this one down. I never grew tired of it, wanting to switch back and forth between flavors, like I do with my usual sweets. It almost reminds me of pipe or cigar, though I know it's not.

Really flavorful. Very nicely done, HIC!

Just went in to get this one and ended up with three others instead - I'm so fickle - lol!
And remind me to never do that on my iPad again....site navigation is darn near impossible.....

Thank you, Huck! I always try to describe flavors in as much useful detail as possible, and "rich" was one word I kept overusing for Palermo. So I smiled to see you use it, too. I smacked my knuckles writing the description, trying to stay on track and avoid mentioning a study with wood paneling, a fireplace, and antique brass lamps, but that's what comes to my mind vaping it. I'll stick with butter rum tobacco for the useful part lol.

You forgot the smoking jacket! :D

I always enjoy reading your descriptions ... wish I was able to discern flavors even half as well as you do.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! New today at HIC's Mixes : Shamrock Shake
Shamrock Shake tiny.jpg

"Cool, creamy, minty milkshake with a shot of Irish cream in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day! The recipe tells you how to make yours mild, extra minty, extra boozy, or with a swirl of chocolate syrup."

I've been vaping all the versions of this for months. The mild recipe is my favorite for longer vaping sessions and tired taste buds.

Oh no you did not! Way cool! I am glad you did this, I wouldn't have bought green beer:rolleyes:!

On another note, I have vaped 30ml. of Dulce de Leche Churros!:D:D. My other flavors have felt left out! So I mixed up some Quickberry Pink..same coil in nautilus as the Churros, and believe it or not the coil slowly switching flavors is heavenly! I am not much for strawberry vapes, and would not have purchased this if my son n law didn't just quit smoking and start vaping again....begging me for a sweet & creamy strawberry. I couldn't mix strawberry and like it to save my life. I would never have tried this otherwise. And it is so GOOD! I am glad I did not miss out. Thanks HIC! I didn't think you could create anything I'd like more than your Churros, but you did...and its strawberry! I just broke down and ordered a small sample of tiramisu...I think you know what I'm buying next!:D

Thanks, HIC. I think I know now the ingredient to adjust to reduce the butteriness. Will do that before increasing the cinnamon.

Got a feeling I'll end up with something like Low Fat Dulce de Leche Churros. ;):D

New today at HIC's Mixes : Jamoca Almond Fudge
p Jamoca Almond Fudge tiny.jpg
"First Baskin-Robbins invented the creamy, sweet ice cream flavor; Arby's made it a milkshake; Dunkin' Donuts made it a latte - now you can vape jamoca. This is an outstanding flavor match and a thoroughly addictive vape!"

Lots of you know I'm a coffee fiend. I consider fancy coffee vapes my specialty - but this might be the best one I've ever made. FA flavorings do an amazing job of matching the flavor Baskin-Robbins invented. If you don't know jamoca, but you like creamy, sweet, mild coffee vapes, this is designed for you.

You're killing me HIC!

I told myself I could not purchase any recipes yet in an effort to force myself to work on a couple of ideas I had myself but you are making that extremely difficult to adhere to. These latest offerings may just take me over the edge!!! :(

:D

Um, a head's up when it comes in? Might give Mama a try for the first time. :)
I've tried checking his site and its on the Fritz. He may be updating it as we speak. I think he told me 3 days ago he ordered it and was even thinking of calling it the ginger HIC uses! Lol! I'll keep checking daily. He just added about 8 more FA flavors earlier today.
