First thing you should do when you receive your first ecig , is take the battery component out , and wall/usb adapter and plug in and gently screw ego batteries onto charger, let charge for min. 4 hours.

While your battery is charging take the cone shaped piece out that has a spike inside cone.
Grab a napkin or tissue. You need to gently blow air from your mouth at top of atomizer cone while holding a tissue or napkin on bottom where threads are located.

Your blowing out primer that usually comes in these atomizers , this primer can be harsh if vaped and burn. It will make flavors taste horrible while giving you a bad burning sting to the back of your throat.

This step is important!!!

Once batteries are charged go ahead take battery off charger and screw cone shaped atomizer down
onto battery. Not to over tighten!!

Plastic tanks come with the kit, one end is flat for mouth other end is round with small cap.
pop cap off bottom of plastic cartridge and simple fill tank with eliquid. Put cap back on.

place tank into cone shaped atomizer, give good push might hear a snap sound..round part goes in cone atomizers.

gently press button to prime atty with eliquid, and slow mouth inhale and quick exhale.

(MOUTH INHALE) FILL MOUTH WITH VAPOR DO NOT INHALE IN LUNGS , THEN BLOW OUT!

ONCE it feels primed and good vapor take a small short inhale to get use to vapor. Do this several times until your lungs adjust to vapor.

Hi! I understand that the first part of your how-to is concerning an ego battery, but I'm confused as to what sort of atomizer you're referring to that needs to have the primer blown out..? If I was a newb who was given a Protank or a CE4, I'd be all sorts of confused.

Ditto- this sounds like it's describing an ego-c type kit, but I'm not sure. Sadly without some sort of background info this is almost completely useless, especially to a new vaper. My first kit was a blu kit, blowing the carts on that dry would be bad news bears. I believe a simple reworking of the title could make this a more useful post.

Yes, I agree that stating the atomizer,tankomizer,clearomizer,etc.. Model might make these instructions a bit more usefull to a brand new vaper

Agreed as well. I have not seen this elusive cone you speak of or the needle that resides in said cone. I assume all atomizers have this cone in them?

The kit being described is, I believe, an eGo T. It has the atomizer with the pin and the tank is pushed onto the pin to puncture the bottom of the tank, so the e-liquid feeds the atomizer. Yes, the type of kit should definitely be specified, but I think it's a "T".

Agreed, the eGo T was actually my first non-cig-a-like kit that I used. It did indeed have some gunk in it that needed blowing out. That said, any "modern" Kanger / Aspire / Innokin clearo setup doesn't need to deal with that. The only thing to do with those is give them time to wick and take a couple of unpowered hits just to make sure it is saturated.

Wow - think brings back memories though!

Battery power is a good thing to remember so many people let their batteries drain down and get hardly any vapor and crappy flavor and then are turned off to the whole Vaping expierence, most are still doing only mouth hits but you can get some beautiful vapor hits from that, just hang in there and don't get discouraged just remember to keep that base charged up
I still remember those days when I went from a pen to a dripper when "the light turned on" man wasn't that a beautiful time lol

Good luck- ww

And always have at least one spare battery charged and ready to go. When I first started and my battery ran down, it was too much of a temptation to smoke cigs while it was charging. Of course a lot of folks may have more willpower than I ever did.....;)

Another Good one is to know that your more than likely not going to quit cigarettes over night. I was told (And what i did) was to pick up my vape every time i wanted a cig. puff on that for 10-20 minutes and then if i still wanted a cigarette, smoke one. no sense beating yourself up about it. over a day or two youll find that you slowly quit picking up a cigarettes afterwards. :)

It took me a month of vaping w/cigarettes in between. In my case, I wasn't getting a nicotine level in my juice that was comparable to what I was smoking, therefore I was never completely satisfied with the vape. Once I started vaping at a higher nic level, I was able to stop smoking cigarettes. I have lowered my nic level three times since I dropped cigs and foresee lowering it again in the very near future. :)

Hey Brian, Aspire Premium Kit is a good choice (but priced higher) you probably can use it thru all stages of replacing cigarettes with Vapes pm if your interested I might be able to tell you what equipment might be in your price book
But just get something that can get you started into vaping then you can see where you might take it too either Drippers, Tanks, or even something else, just start it's an eye opening great hobby that I found in Vaping and it totally got me off the "Stinkies" lol
I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do

Good luck with your decision- ww

Hey guys,

I am using a 30w istick at the moment and the best e-liquid ive had is HILIQ. They are super smooth and have great flavours.
Their cooling agent is amazing and can really help new vapers used to vaping.
Ive just bought loads of e-liquid in their Black Friday sales!

You guys should check them out!

Sounds like you are describing an ego kit, helpfu to me.

Just bought an InnokinT20-S with 4mg eliquid, which I'm still finding way harsh on my lungs (tried 18mg and nearly died.. lol)... what am I doing wrong??
(Total noob - I don't know anything about amps, ohms, so please be simple with me. )

Just tried the T20-S with the same liquid I used in my old T18 (with no problems), and still harsh as. So I'm concluding it's the T20-S itself, not the juice. Still help!!
