I need to ask before mixing this...would you call this a tank cracker?

All I have is plastic right now...

I can't wait to try it! I just received my flavors a couple of days ago!

Although FA flavors (concentrates) dropped on the plastic from EVODs don't cause that instant crack-and-curl that I've seen from some other brands, I don't recommend FA or other brand citrus, mints, or spices in plastic tanks. Even FA recommends against using plastic.

I tried out a strong (8-10% or so) FA cinnamon-mint recipe in a cheap, plastic tank once. I just let it sit there to see what would happen. It looked encouraging until the glue that held together the metal and plastic bits failed. The plastic still looked unaffected, but a jigsaw-puzzle tank is pretty much useless.

If fasttech links are allowed, here are some sturdy, reliable, 2ml glass tanks I've been using at least a year with no issues whatsoever: https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10006714/1535302-rgm2-bottom-coil-clearomizer-2-0ml . Usually not available in all colors at once, but at under $3 each, I just buy a handful of whatever color they have at the time.

My partner prefers plastic, so I found some that work with my Kringle's clone and Limoncello Parfait recipes: http://focalecig.com/Product/Marste...-Cigarette-Atomizer-Silver-1-6mL2-2Ohm--13061 No failures on those, despite the lemon and (FW) mint flavorings, but they don't take bumps and falls well.

Thank you, HIC.

I do have plenty of EVOD Glass glassos, but my ProVari won't take them. I suppose I could get some adapters, but what I should do is hold off on selling one of my Nautiluses with the BVC heads. That way I'll have glass and somewhat decent taste. As it is, I've discovered Kayfuns and the flavor is amazing. Even better than the Nautilus BVCs.

I'm also going to order some quartz for my Kayfuns. that way I'll have some home vape glass atties to use. Not sure I trust O-rings out in public to hold everything together. I can just vape my Strawberries-n-Cream on-the-go.

Thanks again! Glad I asked!

Finally got to make and vape this one! I read through all the replies beforehand, and bumped the orange only a tad, reduced the raspberry because that one is SUPER strong to me, and bumped the vienna a little bit (I like the sweet milky at the bottom of the bowl, lol). This is fantastic, HIC! One little thing that makes NO sense to me...... how am I getting a light cinnamon flavor? Seriously. Like the bottom of a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch or something along those lines. Regardless, I loved that. Very good vape, HIC. Worth the wait for more Orange, instead of subbing it.

Straight up bowl of Fruity Pebbles/Froot Loops in a tank.

I am quite fond of this one sans Pineapple. I can't be the only one who gets a burnt rubber/onion vibe from FA Pineapple, can I?
You're not the only one. It's one of the few FA flavors that hits my palate in a not pleasant way. It's still delicious without the pineapple.

Some people really like it. I think I might be in the minority. Have you tried it yet? Make a little 3ml tester before adding it to the recipe if you haven't already.

I'll give it a try at some point. :)

I may make a batch of 1mg unflavored and mix it with this. I hadn't realized it would be this strong! :p I thought my poor taste buds would mellow it a little. NOPE!

I made it with pineapple. I didn't get the odd flavor that some do.

Even members of my family think FA Pineapple smells divine, as well as a couple mixers I've inquired with. I suppose my olfactory senses are just a bit wonky. I certainly encourage you to try the recipe with the Pineapple at first! Unless of course, you get that same off smell right off the bat with the Pineapple. I did, but I said "eff it!" and mixed it anyways. After three weeks I still couldn't get past it, and just kept enjoying my version sans Pineapple!

Oh yea, my FA pineapple smells horrible! But I didn't get that kind of flavor here. I'll have to mix it solo and see.

No! FA Pineapple tastes like dirty socks to me on the exhale specifically. I thought it was the one mix but it was that way in anything I put FA Pineapple in. I switched to Golden Pineapple from Capella. Much better.

HIC's Double Rainbow recipe: Fruity mayhem for all chasers of rainbow sherbet and fruity kiddie cereal. This is a rainbow sherbet float with raspberry-lime-pineapple sherbet in sugary froot loops milk. :) It's sweet, fruity, milky, strong, and intriguing - the kind of juice to give a friend and challenge them to identify the flavors. Easily mixed up, so try it and have some fun.

1% FA Raspberry
1% FA Pineapple
1% FA Lime Cold-Pressed
1% FA Lemon Sicily
1% FA Orange
1% FA Cherry (not Black Cherry)
1% FA Custard
1% FA Vienna Cream
1% FA Meringue

shake and vape!

First three flavors are the strongest. Lime, lemon, orange, and cherry are Froot Loopy flavors; only real super-tasters will be able to pick out each one. Custard adds a sharp vanilla-lemon cream, like a gelato or sherbet base. Vienna makes it smooth, sweet, and creamy, like whole milk left over at the end of the cereal. Meringue adds bright sweetness.

Time to get busy!!

So I mixed this up, using 20 drops of each flavor. The only sub I did was pineapple, I used fw. I mixed 9% Flavor base into a 70/30 vg mix and im sorry to say but this is absolutely nothing like any kind of cereal. I wish I knew if I did somethig wrong. I'm frustrated.

I'd leave pineapple out (see post 15 in this thread for @Thunderball 's alternative) before I'd use FW's here.

With pineapple or not, it's still "a rainbow sherbet float ... in sugary froot loops milk" - not supposed to be one of those cereal clone recipes.

Maybe I confused my wishful end result with that of the pebbly fruit flavored cereal. I tried the mix again and I actually get a bit of sherbet. Will try to taste again in the morning, since I'm working on a different flavor. I think my nic solution went bad on me.

I mixed this up and the FA Pineapple is awful!!! It tastes as bad as it smells and it dominates the other flavors. Dumped the batch and will try again with a different pineapple. The recipe sounds great, just wondering if I got a bad batch of FA Pineapple... accidentally ordered two bottles of it.

I doubt it! Some people think it's horrible, and most of them like TFA Pineapple fine. On the other hand, some experience TFA the way you describe and prefer FA. A few can't stand either of those, but like Capella. It's a controversial kind of flavor, this one. TFA will sub in just fine at the same percent.

Some of the flavors are still on their way to me, my pineapple is caps golden pineapple, and my raspberry is tfa raspberry sweet, but I can't wait to mix it!

Thanks for yet another yummy sounding recipe, hic!

You may want to use a little more of those flavors if they don't seem xtra strong to you. The FA equivalents are pretty darn strong flavors.

Thanks for the reply! And thank you, HIC, for all of your research, advice and recipes you provide. I'm anxious to try some of the others. For this one, I may need to try small doses of FA Single flavors to determine my likes and dislikes. I quit smoking two months ago and things are starting to taste better/worse. Today at work, breakfast and lunch tasted bad... I'm not getting sick, just think my taste buds are a bit out of whack. I'll give the FA Pineapple another try in a few months. I have made a few batches of other recipes that I love, but have dumped way more than I have kept. I've created 'three' of my own that I enjoy, It's exciting to finally get it right for my taste buds.... Anyway, during this adventure, I've already collected over 300 bottles of flavorings and will continue to explore combinations. I've vaped e-cigs off and on for the past 9 years. A whole lot has changed....

Yep! I think I might be able to refrain from smoking for good this time. Was totally lost at the Vape shop with all the new and improved items. The best part of this is my daughter and son-in-law have quit smoking as well, so our time together is spent making and trying new and posted recipes. ... Sorry, didn't mean to make this sharp of a turn from the original post. We will try again with the Double Rainbow until we get it right. It sounds too good to give up on it.

I'm going to preface this by saying that this is my very first attempt at DIY. I mixed this up at 6:30 am on 12-12-15. It's 2:20 am on 12-13-15. I made a 30ml of the recipe exactly as it says. I made an 80vg-20 pg mix. It's too thick, I think next time I'm gonna try a 70-30 mix instead. I threw some fresh cotton in my RDA, and vaped it straight away, as it said "shake and vape." It was... meh. I could taste that the custard wasn't melding with the rest of the flavors at all. I definitely get the lighter citrus notes, but very few darker fruit notes. I've been vaping on it all day today, and with time, it's definitely getting better. I get no milk flavor, and barely any custard. I've read that custard takes time to bloom, so I'm I'm curious how it will progress after a bit if a steep. I read about the "agent orange" version, and I may try that next, in a smaller sample size. I also may try it without the pineapple. Overall, far from a disaster, I think after time, and some tweaks, this will be an amazing juice for me.

Taste is so subjective, so please don't think that I'm bashing this recipe, or HIC! There's a reason the guy has gotten where he is, and there's also a reason that his recipe is the first one that I chose to try. Any thoughts, questions or criticisms would be met with open ears. Much respect. DIY on.

Didn't have Lime, and not too fond of the Orange flavoring i must admit, so i tweaked it a bit. And oh my oh my, this is a great vape!

Went with:

1% FA Kiwi
.5% Citrus Mix
1.25% Lemon Sicily
.75% Orange
Rest as the recipe (Without lime of course)

I think the Kiwi works great here, as it's not too sweet, atleast in my experience.
A good fresh vape, i think it'll be great for summer. :)

Not me, but if you have some other brand, no reason not to try it.
I think pomegranate would also be good, but I'd probably use half as much. TFA or FA pom, if you have either of those.

Thanks for replying I have tfa pom so try it at maybe .5% first and adjust to taste?

Hmm sweaty socks! Damn pineapple 30ml ruined! I thought it was the FA mango with the dirty note now realised it was the pineapple in past tropical recipes!!
Will have another go with tfa FA pineapple has taken over the entire mix..... I don't like being the minority sob!! Lol

just an update edit, tasting like refresher sweets (uk) still getting a bit of sock note but its not as prominent today

I'm going to try this.. but I have a question or two.

Being a menthol lover can you see any way of adding FA menthol to your mix?
I have your mix as a flavour base concentrate atm (no dilutants or nic).. do I need to let those flavors steep still?

Many Thanks!

You can add menthol to anything! It wouldn't need more steep time, if that's what you're asking.

I took the gamble of making a 1litre batch of it. Day #2 of shaking thoroughly and its already tasting amazing. Nice and fruity with a smooth creamy undertone so far.. cant really pick out the fruit flavours individually just yet but still tastes nice :)

Thanks for this recipe HIC

I'd personally steer clear of mixing large batches of anything fruity, as I find some fruit flavours can fade away over time.

Thanks for the recipe HIC, just mixed a 5ml batch to test, subbed cherry for white peach and also bumped the orange to 2%.

I not tried it yet as im trying to learn some patience in this game, also did a 5ml of your kiwi envape and your irish lass. Oh the joy of new flavours arriving!

Any reason why black cherry dont work, shame as it popped through my letterbox this, morning!

Ive started to mix 100ml of base (nic/pg/vg) and keep it somewhere dark and cool to make mixing much quicker and easier. Then you can just dd your flavours and fill up your bottle with base without measuring everything.

Is this good practice? Are you lot doing a similar thang?

Fair play, does. Anyone know of a lime concentrate that doesn't dissappear after a few weeks like FA does?

I think I just wasn't impressed with it using Black Cherry. I'd pick some other brand's wild cherry or red cherry flavor before I'd use that with the other 'bright' fruit flavors in this recipe, but that's just my own preference.

Yes, I do keep some of my often-used recipes as premixed flavorings like that. It sure does save time. Mine stay in the fridge, and it works well for me.

Hi I am looking to mix this up but it may end up just simular. I have the same old problem of differing flavours. I have most but only have inw raspberry and tfa pineapple the rest is good. Do you think it would work out with these subs?

TFA Pineapple is a fine sub for FA
I can't advise on Inawera Raspberry; don't have that one.
