Hi Everybody!!! I am Egomama, I was born and raised in New Mexico. I was a smoker for 23 years, never thought I would quit. I loved smoking, loved the feeling I got from the nicotine, loved having something to do with my hands at all times, but I hated not being able to breathe, or walk, or chase my kids. Found ecigs in March of 2012, fell in love with vaping! I love talking about vaping and helping others discover new things about vaping. I will be more than happy to help out and answer any questions I can.

Hi. Hope you managed to catch those kids :) I run and I used to always cough when running. When I stopped smoking and started vaping, after two weeks (maybe less) I never coughed again
I caught them, now Im not sure what to do with them :D. I havent had a breathing sickness, no bronchitis, no sinus infections, in over two years, hell Ive barely had a cold ;)

If only legislators would listen.
Erm, well I don't have kids but from what I've seen they pretty much run themselves. You just got to feed and water them right? lol

If only, but the legislators only listen to their wallet. Crap I got to feed them, I knew I was forgetting something :D

Do you think we'll lose the battle?
@egomama I bet you're not really a total bitch

A friend made me the picture a couple of years ago, and honestly depending on my mood, I can be :D. Are we going to lose the battle, no. Are they going to try to control everything vape related? They will most certainly try.

I can be one too, but only when I'm upset :(
And Europe and America, do you reckon we'll inevitably get the same results once everything has been settled? I'm not sure pro vape UK politicians understand what vape is. I saw one giving a speech in the House stating he'd visited a vape shop and members of his staff use them and then went on to describe the vape as aerosol. Aerosols don't actually bode well in legislation.

I think politicians in general think the basic public is a bunch of simpletons, so they try to use common words to describe things people as a whole will have an easier time of understanding. An aerosol would look like smoke, but isnt smoke.

In the end, I think the squabble for vaping "rights" has a lot to do with "blowing clouds" in the arena of sorts @egomama

I feel that within a period of 5 years, vaping will find it's way into the creepy hands of BigPharm and will introduce their version of the ecig, say that their version is the "ONLY" safe one to use, and try to make money off both sides of the aisle whether it's "quitting" or "transitioning."

Nutz!

Rich BigPharma has already tried. The Nhaler, Nicotrol, Nicorette Inhaler, etc. Those have all pretty much failed. You dont hear about them very often. I remember when my mom was trying to quit about 20 years ago there was an ad on TV about a nicotine inhaler, "never have brown fingers or teeth from smoking again". Havent heard about any inhaler types of pharma products again until recently. The biggest issue with big pharma is they always add extra stuff. For example: the Nhaler has something like 23 ingredients in it, why? You only need 3 to get the nicotine in your system, 4 if you want flavoring.

There's not really a culture or forums set up with lots of member discussing their nicotine patches, gum and inhalers and how they're from from smokes

Because they dont work. Thats the biggest thing with vaping, it works. No other cessation product of any type has ever had this much success
