This recipe is getting closer to great. The high citrus note has been evened out, and balanced with a stronger berry/cream taste in the middle.
Personally, It still needs more cream.
Im going to work on my next attempt tonight or tomorrow. I think I will try to utilize FA custard and FA vienna cream in the next one. Id be interested to see where that takes this recipe. FA custard works very well with fruit flavors, so it may be a home run.
Though all of these recipes are good, Im wondering if I will even notice if one of them is exceptional??

Fruit loops and cream
3%TFA Berry crunch
1%FA cream fresh
5%TFA fruit circles
1% TFA Graham Cracker Clear
3% TFA Malted Milk
1% FA Meringue
1% TFA Rice Crunchies
3% TFA tst marsh
1% FW yellow cake
1% FA billberry
2% CAP Ny cheesecake
.5% Acetyl pyrazine (or you could probably add another 1% of TFA rice crunchies)

I just filled up my lemo2 with this stuff ^^^above^^^ and its really good. 22ga nichrome, 3mm, 5 spaced wraps, @.24 ohms, runnin between 30 and 50 watts.
Also, fyi, after I make a batch I put in the oven at a bit below 150 (since thats as low as it goes) and keep it in there for 2 hrs.
I assume its the same a the crock pot method, at the same temperature, just a little different.
The next day, the mix is ready to go. The heat kills the citrusy bitterness of the fruit circles and evens everything out. But it does get better over the following week.

Bunch of great ideas and recipes happening over here. Thanks for everyone's posts!

I've been playing with TFA Fruit Circles and FA Bergamot the past couple days. It's an easy way to get close to Fruit Loops and Fruity Pebbles. More Fruit Circles for Fruit Loops and more Bergamot for Fruity Pebbles.

TFA Berry Crunch though, I can't stand it so far. I tried a shortcut going off of a lot of recipes I found that used Fruity Circles and Berry Crunch. 2:1 was a common ratio so I started there. Couldn't tell what BC was bringing to the table so I tried it by itself. Ew. Maybe it doesn't play well at high wattages (70ish for me lately) but it was nasty at 5% standalone. Been using AP for the "crunch" since then but after this and several other recipes using AP I think I'll try FA Cookie next. AP is very dry and super easy to overdo.

I'll second (or third or fourth) FA Meringue bringing the sugary sweetness. I've been using it at around 2% along with FW Hazelnut at 1% in most of my cereal mixes. I've dropped Cake (Yellow) recently (was using it at 0.5%) to see if I can get by without it's sweetness and gunking.

So that was a bunch of words and not much else... Anyway, thanks again for all the helpful posts.

I'm still on the fence with Berry Crunch myself... but I can't deny it's awfully gross standalone and at higher percents. I've also seen it steep out weirdly.

For me AP alone isnt enough for the crunch/cereal flavor effect I need. Instead of berry crunch, I prefer other options like FA Cookie, TFA Cheesecake Graham crust, TFA Graham Cracker Clear (though I hear CAP is better), so on.

I've been playing with TFA Rice Crunchies too recently, though I'm not sure I'm really getting a distinct effect from it yet. Thoughts on using something like FA Apple Pie? Other crunch/cereal/grain flavor ideas?

Oh yeah, FA Apple Pie! I used it in my Apple Jacks recipe but not for the apple part since it's barely there.

I think for my next cereal mix I'll try 0.5% each of FA Cookie and FA Apple Pie instead of AP or any other bready flavors. I've tried them together in a Peach Pie recipe and it got really crusty so I'm going to start low on those together.

I also got TFA Graham Cracker Clear as a possible replacement for Cheesecake Graham Crust. Haven't messed around with it much yet though.

You should transpose that Apple Jacks recipe into this thread! =)

I wonder if INW Biskuit would be useful for this too... I've been meaning to pick some up.

I really hate fruit circles! Not trying to be negative but I really do dislike it! I do, however, like berry crunch in small doses (around 5%).

Its absolutely awful before it steeps. It tastes like a grapefruit peel in the back of your mouth.
Heat helps this flavor alot. I typically do a 2hour long heat steep in the oven at 150degrees. Same as the crock pot method, but with an oven.
After it comes out almost all of that bitterness is gone. Within the next couple days its completely gone. But ive never gone past 7%.

Finally got the flavoring today that i ordered before the Holiday (yay USPS).

Plan on making a few tries tonight at trying to "cream up" some of the latter recipes i've done.

Haven't tried it yet. Had to put it on the back burner, but it's honestly next up on my try list lol.

Spent the week trying to nail down a request for 2 different fruit custard blends for 2 of my buddies. So pretty much been vaping just that all week.

You should transpose that Apple Jacks recipe into this thread! =)

My Apple Jacks recipe is listed here under Morning Wood. I kind of gave up on it as a cereal vape though (and stopped updating the thread a few versions ago). See, what had happened was... I kept refining the recipe to be how I remembered Apple Jacks tasting. I thought I was getting pretty close. So I went and bought some Apple Jacks. Then I realized the flavor of my recipe beat the ever loving shit out of real Apple Jacks. Now Morning Wood is just a sweet Apple Cinnamon recipe instead of a cereal vape. And also, now the name needs to be changed.

The last version I mixed was
5% FW Apple Jacks
4% TFA Cheesecake Graham Cracker Crust
2% FA Apple (not Fuji)
2% FA Meringue
1% FA Cinnamon Ceylon
1% FW Hazelnut
0.5% FW Yellow Cake

I haven't vaped it in a few weeks because I burnt myself out on it. When I start considering drinking and/or doing lines of a juice mix it's time to take a break, right? o_O

Looking back on it with my new knowledge I'd probably drop back the Cheesecake to 2% (or drop it completely) and add a little FA Apple Pie at 1-2%. Not sure why I ever took the Apple Pie out, TBH. I'm bad to change 3 things at a time about a mix then I can't tell which changes helped or wrecked it. It's really not the best way to do it.

Oh man, i do that too. Im either too impatient, or have too few containers, or just forget the number of times this didnt work.

For me it's impatience and insanity. "It didn't work the last 800 times but it'll work this time." Plus, ain't nobody got time to make small, individual incremental changes to a mix! It's much faster to just flail around.

I don't want to start a new thread for this question, because if I try this recipe it will be the first diy for me. I first tried KILO cereal milk, before trying any others. It really taste like the description. I have tried others, but none come close. Looper is close but too much lemon. Does these recipes have that milky cereal taste? I was at expo and not one cereal juice came close.

I mixed up /u/jacksters original CK clone from reddit the other day it was awesome right off the rip, but after a few hours it started losing any and all flavor to me. Is there something in there that can burn our your taste buds? I'm new to using AP...could this be the cause?

FA Meringue 3%
FE Lemon 3%
FA Orange 2%
FW Yellow Cake 1%
CAP Sweet Tangerine 1%
FA Bergamot 0.5%
Acetyl Pyrazine 0.5%

No substitutions were made.

For me the milk is the hard part unless you are ok with Diketones in your juice.

No, shake and vape. I rarely heat steep anything.
Huh. That was my only guess. I know that citrus flavors, especially Lemon, can fade but I don't know what else could be going on aside from a little vaper's tongue. Maybe switch to a very different juice for a minute then switch back? If I only vape one recipe for a couple days I'll start thinking it's weak. Just a few minutes with something else will remind me just how flavorful the first juice was.

Otherwise, I got no idea. Keep us posted.

Ill be getting the few flavorings I need to make this, probably on tuesday. Ill check it out and see If I get the same results.
What are you vaping it with? what ohm, wattage, wire gauge, atty?

I have 4 of the recipes steeping now. I did a short heat to kick things off. I broke down and tried the following recipe after 48 hours. My coil is just now getting the last juice flushed out, but I'd have to same this one is not bad at all.

5% Fruit Circles (TFA)
1% Vienna Cream (FA)
.5% Fresh Cream (FA)
.5% Meringue (FA)

A mixing tip I read on vu is to create a 30ml bottle missing the ingredient you want to test. Break the 30ml bottle into 6 5ml bottles and do your change a little different to each of the 5ml bottles. Pick your favorite, and do another test bottle to see what other tweak can be done to improve the mix.

I'm more interested in a cinnamon toast crunch vape. I have an order coming in tomorrow with some of my ideas. Some have already been mentioned. One thing which has not been mentioned is waffle. I ordered the fw and cap versions to test out. My hope is one often will have a real done waffle taste. I'm hoping it will improve the toast taste in the mix. I also order French toast to see if it could be useful.

I just wished I had more time to mix and test. Let's keep the killer ideas going in this killer thread!

Sigelei 150@70 watts in a [email protected], 22ga 5 wrap. Been on this setup for months in all of my attys.

I think its vapors tongue @KeyserSoze ...nothing is tasting right or I should say tastes at all.

Maybe I missed it, but is anyone here playing with TFA's Lucky Leprechaun or Silly Rabbit? Just mixed some Leprechaun standalone and it had some promise around 6% but was weak - bumped to 8% and I think that with some FA Marshmallow and some creams there could be life...haven't even tried the Rabbit yet.

Silly rabbit is decent mixed with fruit circles between 6-8% and your favorite cream concoction.

I typically do:

7% silly rabbit
6% fruity circles
5% sweet cream
5% marshmallow

Surprisingly silly rabbit over powers the lemon in fruity circles and makes it more bearable

Cool - that's along the lines of what I was hoping to hear! I've been using Berry Crunch to tame the Fruit Circles, feel like after that I'm left over-sweetening...

Ok guys, I had to go back to the drawing board. The last two recipes I made were great in the beginning, but the steep knocked them flat on their faces.
Too much cream and mid level tastes drowned out the high notes of the citrus.
So heres my latest adventure....
JACKSTER'S REVISED VERSION
FW Hazelnut 2%
FA Meringue 2%
FA Bergamot 1.5%
FA Orange 1%
Cap Tang 1%
FE Lemon 3%
FW Yellow Cake 2%

Its very good as a shake and vape. Im really enjoying this recipe, but I know its missing something.
Im going to replace the FA orange with FA forest fruit and see what happens. If it doesnt work, Im going to keep trying other things to replace the orange. I also have FA bilberry, tfa strawberry ripe, and tfa sweet raspberry.

I think replacing the orange may help keep the balance, which I like, but bring up the berry note, which Id like. The yellow cake and hazelnut combo is really good, It really brings the 'cereal' flavor.

Update: after mixing the V2 (replace orange with forest fruit), it doesnt have the kick I expected. I added an additional 1% tfa sweet raspberry to help that.
Ill report back with results in a couple days.

As soon as I read the words "Forest Fruit" everything went all slow motion as I dove for the keyboard and mouse to type nnnnnooooo Ppppppaaullyyyyy nnnnoooottttt ttthhheee fffffoooorrreeeessstttt ffrrruuiiiiittttt.

By that time it was too late though and you had already done the deed. Why in the name of all things holy did you not use Citrus Mix, Mandarin, or a half dozen other FA's before you tried Forest Mix? I bet I know why. You're on some next level shit that I will only understand after many more months of mixing.

Bilberry has no place in a cereal vape (FOR ME... but only because it tastes like a blueberry that someone soaked in sock sweat). I don't taste sock sweat in cereals, personally. Strawberry Ripe and Sweet Raspberry, however, have plenty a room in a cereal recipe IMHO. Strawberry Ripe and Graham Cracker Crust 2:1 is how you start making Crunch Berries, after all.

2% FW Yellowcake overpowers all citrus flavors for me. I use 0.5%ish but I'm still figuring that one out. My next cereal mix will replace FW YC with TFA Sweet Cream, EM and/or TFA Sweetener in smaller amounts to see what happens. I tried some juice by Spanked called Brazilian that gave me that idea. It tasted like a combo of Fruit Circles and FE Lemon with TFA Sweet Cream and EM. It was simple but good.

Nope, no next level shit here. Just tinkering and this time, fucking up like usual. The elimination of orange and the introduction of forest fruit did nothing for the mix, it actually took alot away. Im still learning the flavorings interactions with each other, and this one was another learning experience. Honestly, this recipe is great all by itself, but im still fucking with it, in attempt at ultimate greatness.
I added strawberry ripe at 1% to the entire of the recipe, ill report back on the results.

I may take dudes advice and try it with FA mandarin. Fa orange tastes like donald duck orange juice to me (not the best orange juice, but not the worst)
I really like it with the orange atm, but im gonna try it with the mandarin anyways.

Ok guys, for the sake of science I went off the deep end.
I replaced FA orange in four different testers. I replaced it with tfa strawberry ripe, tfa sweet raspberry, fa mandarin, and fa lychee.
This recipe doesnt seem to need much of a steep, so I should know what works later on this evening.

I know its so overdone but I i tried botbotboys recipe and toungefuck. Looked through countless threads. Two things I was considering: Tfa Dairy. Newer flavor. Some don't like it but i thought it was smooth. Mixed at 12% gave a slightly sweet thick feel. 50/50. Flavor west. Not a fan of flavor west but tried fruit rings. Less lemon than fruit circles. I think it has more orange. It has a better flavor. If you've tried it post.

probably not Pauly. I have tried using van bean in numerous recipes without "quite" hitting the mark for what i was looking for. the vanilla swirl is absolutely amazing. i now add it instead of french vanilla cream and custards when going for a bit of smoothy soft cream. a must have in your cupboard :)

Yup Vanilla Swirl is a good one and it seems to be more potent than the FA Fresh Cream.
Can't compare it to Vanilla Bean Ice Cream as I just got it and haven't used it yet.
Many of my early recipes used 2-3% TFA Vanilla Swirl and 1-2% TFA Sweet Cream.
Good combo for Blueberry & Blackberry Vapes.

just an FYI as this is not the thread for it ... i have adapted a number of recipes including a delish strawberry campino candy by replacing the bavarian cream with vanilla swirl. i find sometimes the bc can make things taste "chocolatey"

Lol... I tried that version when I first joined this thread... That is more like the cereal left after eating all the marshmallows out of lucky charms IMO. Thanks for trying

Bilberry has no place in a cereal vape (FOR ME... but only because it tastes like a blueberry that someone soaked in sock sweat). I don't taste sock sweat in cereals, personally.

I have to LOL at that! I'm not a fan of that flavor either. Even at low percentages I still detect the "sock sweat".

Been following along on this tread and have something to contribute that some of you may enjoy. If I had to explain this one it would be a close trix vape but it probably needs a litttle more cereal. Possibly a touch of AP.. I am enjoying as it as and will experiment with it the next time.... here it is
TFA Fruit Circles 7%
TFA Berry Crunch 2.5%
TFA Bav Cream 2%
CAP Sweet Cream 1.5%
FA Vanilla Classic 2%
FA Fresh Cream 2%.

Its very fruity and the cream is def there. If you try it, I would be interested in your thoughts. I did heat steep it and let is sit for a few days for some of the fruit to calm down....

Thanks for reading
