So, recently it seems as if I have been favoring my Russian 91% v2. I seem to like the MTL type vape a little more than lung hits. I have been using rdas for a about 9 months and love the flavor and the time I get to build. I find it relaxing and sometimes challenging. I guess what I'm trying to get at is has anyone else had this? I'm thinking about to stop the use of my rdas and pick up another Kayfun style rta. Also, any suggestions on some good Kayfun style rtas?

Slightly different question, I've been stuck on the spaced and connecting coils. Using 28g. Any new coils I should try? Does a 26g coil have a big difference compared to 28 in a Russian?

Funny, I was just dusting off my r91 to set up for my wife. I have a kayfun that is still new in the box at 1+ years old. I'm a tanker when out for the day, and dripper at home.

Yea I still enjoy it but the ease with the Russian is nice and convenient. I'll probably keep my mutation but may give away my tugboat clone.

My wife likes tank cracker flavors, and I do too. I went to FT to get a quartz kit only to see them discontinued. THAT is disappointing. I'm waiting on vape mail for a velocity clone. I feel like I'm the last person to try one. I have a couple Magmas that got me started on the rba flavor quest, I still use them for testing flavors, but only need one. I should pif the spare. I should pif the kf also.

I picked up a few extra tank sections from kidney puncher as the original one was slight cracked. Haven't had a problem and they are clearer than the stock one. I want to pick up another one so I'm not out of not having one.

I just thought about it. I never used the solid tank section because you can't see. Well I have several temp control devices that this would be the ticket for a nickel build. Poor vape quality, re-fill time. Now I can vape my citrus without worry. Problem solved...

I use my kayfun every morning. Switch to an rda with different juice after coffee time is over. I do use the kayfun when having certain alcohol drinks. The past year has been kind of crazy with all the new gear that's come out. I think the sub ohm tank craze will settle down a bit and the kayfun will make a slight comeback. It's still a great mouth to lung device.

I still have 2 of them I use once in a while. This post made me pull one out and give it another shot. Easy to use for sure. Fill it and lasts me all day!

I see all the subtanks coming out and of course want them all, but tbh, I really like my Aqua for it's capacity and ease to build, maintain, and like my few rbas I have. But I am going to start using the r91 also. I guess for me, flavor is king.

The monster kayfun from what i understand is a joke....You have 2 huge air flow holes on the base and still have this tiny tube to get air to the coil...I would consider it more of a conversation piece than anything.

I have a collection of Kayfun (clones of course) and I always come back to them. The only other tank I use at all is my subtank mini. I have found that the 3.1 and Lite work well with TC builds. The V4 just doesn't work with TC. I think it's the way the spring connects to the positive pin. But, it's still a great atty for vv/vw. I have finally stopped buying attys just to find out in the long run I'll go back to my Kayfuns. I especially like the lite with the nano kit that is stamped "Made in Germaney". No, I didn't spell it wrong :)

My ehpro kayfun 3.1 has a couple features I really like that not all kayfuns have. Two coil mounting options, two filling options and the condensation and leak collecting bottom cap. It's slightly longer than a lite, but that bottom cap makes for zero external leaking. Even laying it on it's side for awhile, the cap completely contains any chamber leakage. It's worth the extra parts and length to me. I might try a nano tank kit for it one day. Hmmm... I wonder what kayfun goodies fasttech has? Haven't checked in a while. Click-click

My EHPro Lite V2 is probably my favorite Kayfun. Never leaks and just vapes great! I love the 2 airflow adjustment screws on the bottom. Any chance you have a link to the 3.1 you have? I notice even the clones are cloned so I'm not confident just finding the Ehpro clone.

I was never able to get 26 to capture under the screws. And while I loved vaping my kayfun I found it a horrible pain in my ass to rebuild. Much better luck with the st mini for me.

Exactly why I like the way they built mine. I can capture under the screw heads or use the holes and screw down on top of the leads.

Fasttech still has some nano kits but alot of them are being discontinued..Actually alot of popular items are.

I have times, yeah, when I want a heavy subtank hit...but most of the time I end up using my squape rs, kayfun v4, or Taifun gt II. I have an Ehpro Evil Eye coming in the mail, really curious about that one and it looks like a nice vape for my 26650 mod. Just something more satisfying about using rebuildable tanks. Alot of satsfaction when you get the coil and wicking just right.

Actually the airflow on this is far better than a normal kayfun. The 2 big holes are unnecessary but the center shaft is bigger than normal. I ordered a base only from FT and have been very happy with it. I used to like the EHPro V2 with the dual airholes until I ordered one of the FT clones. Its airflow is far superior to the EHPro.

Well, I finally got me a Monster V2, and It's vaping like a champ, in between it being a Juice Whore.
Still torn between this tank and the Lemo as my go to. Both work pretty good, but did have some
leaking with the Monster v2 at first.

You need to lead some of the wick down the juice channel. Just need to work thru how much! I put the top cap for a Kayfun V4 on all 4 of mine and I top fill them all without any leaking or gurgling.

I use an orchid v2 clone I picked up on eBay for $7 shipped. In dual coil mode its too airy for MTL but I converted it to single coil by stuffing the air hole and juice channels with cotton on the empty side. The juice is seeping into the cotton and still coming out the air hole, so I need to find a non-porous material to plu the airhole, but as far as coil builds and wicking, I've noticed something that makes my rda produce better flavor that may work in a tank as well and I'm going to try it in the orchid as soon as I figure out what to plug the air hole with. Anyway, I used to build my coils on a 2.4mm and do the Scottish roll method for wicking. It worked ok, but today I built a coil on a 4mm pin, six wraps of 26g and it ohms out at .99. Scottish roll and the flavor is 10x better. Scottish roll I think only helps flavor if you're building a certain diameter coil. Smaller diameter coils and the Scottish roll just doesn't work as good. I've been rebuilding or rewicking almost every other day for a month and finally found a method that I'm really happy with. Like I said, gonna try it in my orchid. I'm thinking maybe supergluing the air hole shut might work. I've got no plans to ever use it in dual coil mode again, as it drinks juice way too fast.
