Probly another $250+ 20w mod that cant fire below .5 ohm, lol

sent from my XT1080 via Tapatalk
It's confirmed to be over 30w so far that's all that's confirmed
How far over?
Amp limit?
How low it'll fire?
So far though, this one should at least fire an Atlantis coil well.
Either way, if they made this one for their pure customer base, they'll love it. If they decided to do things to expand their customer base, it could be interesting.

Ive watched the vid twice....WTF

Is it a tube or a box?

radius usually implies circles in my mind. I am so confused. the asolo made more sense then this video

Well, they did a full circle to develop a regulated mod that will have more than 30W. It might be too late anyways.

Be nice if it was 60w and could fire down to .2 ohm..
Be even nicer if it had a TC mode as well..wishful thinking, lol

if they reversed engineered a dicode tc device, they might have a winner. Some people really like that mod.

If they used anything resembling a dicode I'm out.
It has a plus and minus button so at least you wont need a timer to navigate the menu

Definitely has a "box" mod look to it in the few flashes they show. *If* it is anything like the original line, it will sell well. Provari's were always rock solid, and performed well for what they do. Pricing is going to be high, that is the Provari way, but if the device can compete in the market space, it just may be one to own, and it should last forever, given their previous engineering philosophy, standards, and quality control.

But as tough as the Provari is its grossly under powered and highly over priced... I mean if the Chinese can produce the 75w IPVD2 under $60 or so why can't ProVape??

Their goal was always rock solid performance, reliability and consistency. For the price of the Provari, they hit the mark, as any owner can attest to. They just have not kept up with the market space, while everyone was jumping ahead in technology and lowering costs in the battle for market space, they rested on their reputation.

They (the chinese) can produce many things...

Getting them to work reliably for any length of time has eluded them though.

Very true! Working great for a couple months is not the same as working well for several years.

Ummmmm dude you know good and well that generalizing it that way is grossly ignorant. Albeit SOME are simply not built to last - but not all. Sxmini comes to mind.
Best part is they fire an rda and give you vapor. My Provari lasted so long after it came back from repair because its been in the coffin... I mean box, for the last year.

Lol, I even have a p3 that gets used only for business functions . Not that they are built bad, not by any means, but, they aren't the end all be all of build quality, and fall far short of performance. -

If ProVape would have come out with a dual 18650 box mod that was able to fire 100W+, when the Chinese did, I would have bought a ProVari. Now, that I have my 100W+ devices already, I will not. Same with 75W devices.

I've never said they don't. But lets keep in mind that's 2...out of how many just on this forum?
All three of my provape products have had to go in for repair. But i still say the product is well made.... But currently useless to me.

Agreed, but nothing's perfect. And at least provape will repair it in the US. I just wish they made a more powerful mod

Here's the way I see it:
It'll be one of two things.
Either something to keep the tootlepuffers happy and hold the current market share they have
Or
Something to open their market share back up to people they lost-like myself and most of us that went to the dmz before 'the exodus.'

The latter seems to be an idea that angers the 'provari people' which makes no sense. If you love a company don't you want them successful?

From what you can see in the video, but what see looks cool and of course being Provari, you know it's going to be reliable and built well, but sure it will be too expensive though.

Funny they have a thread over in their subforum. Apparently good salesmanship is having someone knocking any other mod and insulting anyone that uses other gear. ---that's good marketing! Maybe they can hire gracechen

I used to wonder where the elistist bullshit came from, I finally understand

I mean if the Chinese can produce the 75w IPVD2 under $60

my D2 has already been sent back coz that dam cheap ass piece of crap died,

if it were from provape i'd already have it back nd be happily vaping on it .wait a minute if it were a provape it wouldn't have died

That's my point... If Provape made a 75w mod it would definitely be better quality than the Chinese $60 D2..I have two Provari's that are so low powered they are useless.. I'm vaping my D2 as I type this..if it dies oh well ...it's to be expected that it won't last forever...

They will only go to 40 watts, for a user replaceable single 18650 mod.

And that is a hopeful number.

I've owned a 60 watt single battery mod before, and was very disappointed in the short battery life when vaping higher watts.

I moved onto dual battery mods, both parallel and series. And battery management is a pain.

I would like a simple 40 watt mod, that lasts all day.

Ummmm.... What about a mod that does 60w but with a button you can use to set it to 40w?

See my point? The max power of the mod doesn't dictate battery life. Where you set it does.
That way if someone like me doesn't mind carrying an extra battery or two they can go ahead and set it higher.
