RDA with IPV D2? (Beginner with some Qs!)

Hello, just signed up here. I have an IPV D2 with a Sense Herakles Tank with the .6 ohm coils. I'm interested in getting into RDAs and I have NEVER made my own coils before. The RDA I want is a Lone Wulf RDA in Copper. As I was looking for tools needed for RDAs I saw that I needed to purchase an OHM reader. My question is, my IPV D2 reads ohms so would I need to still buy an Ohm Reader? I plan on making builds between .2-.4 ohms (since the IPV D2 only reads down to .2) and I am also wondering if it is safe for me to use an RDA with my IPV D2? Here is the link on what I plan to do with my coils.
. Also what watts would you run at with a .2-.4 ohm build? I go up to 60-75w with my .6 since I use max vg 0 nic juice but I was wondering if those watts are necessary with an RDA with the .2-.4 build? I have an IMREN IMR 3500mah 30A battery. Thanks so much I know I asked a lot of questions.

First, lose the Chinese rewrap battery and get a real battery such as a Samsung 25R or a Sony VTC, just to name a couple. There is NO such thing as a 3500mah 30amp 18650 battery. Second, if you're looking to get an RDA, consider a larger mod. Not saying the IPV D2 can't run an RDA, but it can't run it well. If you're a Pioneer4you fan, consider the IPV3 LI or IPV4S.

What do you mean by well? I plan to install my LG HG2 in it and my coil build will be at .25 ohm which should work very efficiently with the IPV D2?

If 75 watts is enough power for you at .25 ohms, awesome. Just not nearly enough power for most people with RDAs. Not to mention battery life is much decreased when compared to a larger, two battery mod.

Don't get me wrong. I'm by no means bad mouthing the IPV D2. But I have tested it with an RDA and was unimpressed compared to its big brothers.

For me personally, my two 75W mods (Sigelei & VCT Mini) are working fine with an RDA. But then, most of my coils are in the 0.3 Ohm range, and I'm usually between 50-65W. The only downside is the battery life. Therefore, if I need adjustable, and higher power, I'm using one of my dual battery mods (Sigelei 100 Plus, 150W, and IPV4S). Otherwise, I'm using one of my mech mods, due to using my RDAs mainly at home.
As already mentioned, you should get different batteries for your mod. I usually get mine from liionwholesale.com.

Yeah, that combo should be fine ... the LG is an awesome battery, and should work well with that setup. I can't estimate the battery life though as I use my D2/LG combo with a .12 ohm Nickel coil in TC mode, so I don't know what it will do with an RDA.

First, I'm gonna agree with @VAPEROXX on the battery - stick with a trusted brand and avoid rewrappers claiming fake specs.

Second, I think you'll be able to do fine with the D2, as long as you're okay with shortened battery life - I run 55-65 watts most of the time like @Neunerball with my drippers, though I prefer a dual-battery mod for longevity purposes.

Third, while your mod has an ohm meter built in, I'm of the better-safe-than-sorry camp and prefer to test my builds on a dedicated meter to keep things honest. USA Ohm Meters seem to be the gold standard as devices go, and when my China cheapie dies that's the route I'll be taking.
