are you are vaper ??
Yes, for 9 months now. Used IPV2 Mini with Atlantis, now changed mod to eVic VTC mini (which I love)
Sometimes rebuild my Atlantis coils, but prefer using out of the box (easier); 95% of the time mix my own juice.

How did the terms like 510 threading come about? Ask any machinist, and they have no clue what 510 means in terms of threading. At least none that I have asked.

510 = 7mm X .5mm threads
801 = 9mm X .75mm
901 = 8mm X .75mm

Kind of complicated :) 510 is easier!

But 510 is arguably the crappiest of those choices...kind of a shame that's what we settled on as a standard. Something like a 10 mm post with 0.5 mm threads would have been so much more durable...

^^^^ agreed! This post is painful, but, the p3 connection would be much more ideal. Inevitably I would love to see an industry standard for length, it would alleviate a ton of issues. Some issues being that of safety with hybrids and hard shorts. The p3 connection, for all of prorapes shortcomings in power and technical offerings, is one area they did get right. The thread pitch is enough to prevent an atty locking down and the diameter gives the post plenty of strength.

Googled:
Length of connector = 5mm
Number of threads = 10
5mm + 10 threads = 510 connection

The vaping device should have made for easy using for customers. The things describe here is amazing. I am using Ichor Liquid brand of e liquid. It is nice. But I want to learn more want that.

to be able to light the mod with a match even in the rain.
looks cool like a light saber
has a bitchen scary sounding name like the "soul reaper"
it must come in black...so it goes with my t-shirts
huge and clunky so everybody knows I'm a vaper
and it must be able to make me a latte.....and a frapaccino.
be able to plug it into the computer, because everything should
and must give me the exact same vape everytime ,because I like consistency and hate surprises.
Oh yeah..it would be nice if it talked to me like my car does.

I like the feature I've found in devices that use Yihi boards, the "memory presets" feature -- because although I vastly prefer mods that can be adjusted by .1w rather than .5w, it's nice to have those presets for the settings used most often.

So far I only have 3 mods that have this feature; 2 iPV Minis and an SX Mini M -- all three have Yihi boards or chips or whatever you wanna call it.

The 510 connector is a weird choice. I suppose it makes sense on a device made the mimic the size of a cigarette ( I'm assuming that's it's origin ). But they still could have used the much more common M7x.75.

The original eVic and eVic Supreme have memory for customizable presets. You can customize 1 VV and 3 VW settings in addition to the standard VV and VW option. The presets were ahead of their time as you could emulate boost, start cool and ramp up to hot, drop it back down - or do it the other way around... Set it to do whatever you wanted over a 10 second period.
