The Bellus by UD

So I have been consistently writing good things about the bellus on this forum and thought I would explain just why I'm in love with the tank.

First off it is top fill. I have a goblin mini. The taste is great. Filling the tank is the worst offence UD has made in design. I mean a tiny little screw from the bottom? And then the mini only holds 2 mm of juice. Never again.

Aitflow on the bellus is from the side - not the bottom. Now it is very adjustable. I usually set it half open at 35 watts on dual coils of 24 gauge built between .25 - .3 and get more than enough airflow. This setting produces a dense cloud and a lot of flavor. Is it as good as the mini. Well, the tank is slightly taller so maybe, just maybe the flavor on the mini is a bit better but not enough to hinder my enjoyment.

The construction on the bellus is top notch. The atomizer base is on an o-ring and just pushes in - you can work on the atomizer without losing any juice.

Now, my bellus has never leaked when filled. However, when filling you should close the air flow - It is open right through. You see the juice channel from the tank to the atomizer base is really wide an open. This is good guys. On my first pulls from my first build I made seven or eight very hard fast pulls - Never a dry hit. I still have yet to experience a dry hit on the bellus.

Building the bellus is easy - velocity style deck. But the deck is small. It will not easily accommodate fancy coils. That is okay. It does not need fancy coils. Build your coils a little high, centered and close in. Wick thickly but stop the wicking at the deck by the juice holes. Those juice channels are huge.

The looks of the bellus - in my opinion - is stunning. It does not have the silly vape band air flow adjuster of the aromamizer. It also has better flavor. The aromamizer I think, is a cloud chasing RDTA. I chase flavor. Not that you don't get decent clouds off the bellus.

Okay. Some cons for the bellus.

To top fill it is is best toi use a unicorn bottle although I have filled it with a glass dripper often. You just need to be a bit more careful the juice does not flow down into your center hole. Even if some does you will just get a bit of a gurgle the first few pulls.

For the most part the o-rings and threading is very good but the top cap is abit finicky. You need to set it on right - then it is smooth.

It is not entirely flush on my mods - it has the tiniest of gaps.

I am buying a second bellus. Rumor has it that a black version is on the way - if not another SS will do me fine. It is that good a tank I want one on a few different mods. This is something for me to say. I'm a real RDA guy. I love mech mods. I even took mech mods to work and dripped. Now I take my DNA200 with my bellus and vape at 35 watts all day - no recharges. No carrying extra batteries. Just as good flavor.

I'm happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

I have a few questions, I see a lot of pics showing the red large o ring in the tank...does it come with clear o rings for the top and bottom of the tank?

Second, I'm torn between the Goliath v2 and the bellus... I don't know which to order!!!!

You actually hardly see the see the o-ring at all but yes there are clear ones. Yes, it drinks juice relatively fast because of the exceptional airflow. You can build a single coil ( has an insert much like the goblin mini. This will drink a bit less. All RTAs are juice drinkers in my experience. This is average. I am a lung hitter - build a single coil and cut of a lot of the airflow and you can MTL.

How would you compare it to the Goliath v2?

I like mine a lot the air flow is crazy open but can adjust to w/e you like. I'll do a review after a week of playing with it. It's my 1st dual coil rta so got a lot to learn but I do get leaking while filling (prob just my wicking) but never a dry hit.

Any tank or rda with sub ohm coils, set to relatively high wattage is going to drink juice. Nature of the beast.

I much prefer it over the Goliath. Now the Goblin Mini has absolutely the best flavor of any TDTA. But it has a small juice capacity, a so-so deck to build on and I hate how it fills. It also tends to leak more. The bellus has excellent flavor when built for it properly. You can use a single coil too.

You get leaking through the air flow control if you do not close it off when filling the tank. If you close off the air flow there is no issue.

And yes, it is hard to get a dry hit of this tank. It really wicks well.

Can someone help me, which 1 drink more liquid?0.5 coil or 1.2 coil?isnt more wrap more ohm means more surface to burn liquid? Sorry for my english.

I believe lower ohms will drink juice faster.

I've noticed this in my lemo v2. My first .8-.9 build the tank would last me over a day...

My new twisted coil build (same juice, same vaping time) at .4 ohms would only last me half a day.

Well wraps arnt the only thing that affect ohms. The thickness of wire plays the biggest part in ohms and bigger wire eats more juice.

Id say if you use them at the same watts they would be about equal. Bc the power would be the same just with the 1.2 ohm the power would be more spred out.

fucking Youde......years ago they made a genny called the aga-t3 I think ...it was a great flavor atty and had really good vapor in some ways it was like the in'ax and the nextgen the wick was in the center of the tank it was a great little genny,BUT it had a tiny little tank, and it was hell to refill...I finally drilled out the fill hole because it was so small there wasn't enough room for juice to enter and air to escape......it could have been a great atty if they had worked out a few kinks..... but is the flavor on the bellus better than most RTAs and sub ohm tanks.

So I managed to fit a dual clapton .17 build on the deck - tight but doable. I can vape it on a mech mod now if I hoose to ( not a hybrid, lol).

So one prob;lem i encountered. You have to be careful pushing in the deck - it does not screw in. It lines up with grooves , pushes in and if they are off the atomizer will leak like crazy. Very annoying albeit a user error you can avoid.

What size clapton and what size bit did you use?

What kind of builds are you doing?
I recently got back into using using stainless. I was getting that metallic taste and muted flavor too. Today, FINALLY, I got SS to give me the flavor I remembered.
