Ok i am currently stuck using my rda because my tank wont fire. My setup is the tesla two sub mod with triton tank running .4 coils or using my twisted messes rda. The coil was just put in a day before. I had used my rda and went to swap back to my tank and wouldnt fire. Cleaned all connections and even cleaned my tank and swapped to another coil, still no fire with the tank but fires without issue with my rda. Any pointers on where i need to look?

Dont currently have a way to. Im off on military training and had stocked up on supplies to last me while im here. The rta for my tank fired perfect before and so didnthe .4 coil that was in it. Took the tank off to use my rda then when i swapped back the tank wouldnt fire.

Try going to see the Coms guys....The center pin may be your trouble maker .

Any way i can check it with an normal ohm meter. I might be able to use one out of a tool box. I really hope nothing is seriously wrong with my tank as i dont think I have enough to last if i only use my rda.

Yea already tore it down and cleaned it thoroughly. Everything looked fine and swapped the rta in and tried again but still didnt fire.

Have you checked the spring loaded center pin on your mod? The rda may have a longer pin and pushed the spring loaded pin too far down and it didn't come back up.

How would i go about checking that?

First, you could hold the tank and dripper up side by side and see if the threaded part and pin is longer on one or the other. I'm guessing the rda has a longer pin, since it is still working.
Now on your mod, press down on the pin and let it slap back up a few times. If you can see the bottom of the spring loaded pin in the battery compartment you may be able to push up on the bottom of the spring loaded pin. I would try cleaning that pin with alcohol and work that pin. Hope this helps.

See if you can push the 510 out some from the inside of the base of the triton sometimes they can be pushed in. Then make sure the rba section is screwed in tight so it keeps it pushed out far enough. They can float being it's not threaded. Most all of the 510 like those can be pushed in when screwed in real tight on the mods.

First thing I would check is to make sure the RBA, or coil is screwed snugly into the tank. My Kangertechs, and Herakles have both done that before. If that's not it, there should be a multi-meter in the toolbox, probably what your calling an ohm meter. Set it on volts(20) and trace it starting with the 510 connection on the mod. You need to push the fire button to see voltage. When you stop seeing voltage. The problem is the connection before that. Common places are the tank not mating to the box, and the coil not mating to the tank. If you have voltage all the way up to the coil, then you have a bad coil. Hope this helps. Chuck USN, RET

If you have never checked voltages, theres not enough to hurt you on a mod, but you could short your mod if you accidentally short the hot leg to ground. Get a TRON or one of the techs to give you a hand.

Ok i got it figured out. The center contact on the mod was pushed in just enough and would stick. I would have to tap it upside down on something to get it to pop loose. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
