Also, in reference to the driptip threaded top, I was wondering through some vendors sites and found they have metal (not sure aluminum it stainless) but in black or raw finish, cost was around $6-7 vs $3-4 for plastic type material. Of course they were sold out, but I didn't look too much, so I'll start looking again today. If anyone has one and could post their opinion, and possibly where it was purchased I'd appreciate it.
Would love to get one if you come across another inbox me the link plz

Monkeys slap attys together at the factory. I always take them apart brand new. Watch youtube if I'm not sure!

I saw what I thought was a leaky bag of silica in a atomizer box once. It turned out to be rice. Some dudes lunch. Eww.

Love my supertank. Had my first go with temp control coils this week and very pleased thus far. Still waiting for the disassembly to get easier though lol.

... - certain mods (Esige Eiffel T1, SMY TC60) will not detect the tank - I'm assuming a center pin issue...

There are two issues that I have come across that are easily fixed.
1) The Center Pin insulator is not seated properly and pushing the Center Pin off at an angle.
Fix: using your finger nails, remove the center pin and adjust the insulator
Note: DON'T lose the positive center pin during the process - It's tiny and will, indeed, try to escape.
2) The coil/atomizer (not the tank) is not screwed in far enough.
Fix: When screwing the coil into the base, apply more pressure
- And / Or -
Fix: After complete assembly, screw the top portion of the tank tighter (this is my usual issue)
Note: The coils will be tight after this and only noticeable when replacing/removing the old coil. " #@#%$%^ "
[EDIT] After tightening everything and then trying to remove the coil and severely cussing, you may have to use tools. This guy does it like I do.
Run a small screw driver through the airflow slots on the base. Hold the top of the tank and use the screwdriver to break it loose. After doing it the first time, it comes apart much easier in the future.

"Easier in the future" ? YMMV

[/EDIT]

it also depends on the coil i know my Triton coils came with two o'rings i have to remove one of them and even then sometimes condinsation builds up in the bottom of the base causing a bad connection use a qtip to dry it off an it can help

I just use the hex wrench that comes with the atty and fits perfectly if it is being stubborn.

Huh, never had an issue with the triton/atlantis coils. The bottom oring doesn't touch anything and the top oring is the one that seals everything off so you remove the bottom oring? Just kind of confused on what removing the bottom one would do... assuming it's the bottom one you're talking about removing.

yes its the bottom one that fixed the problem on one of my tanks not sure why it worked but it did the local shop told me to do it

That's odd, wouldn't think that would have an effect on anything. I'll keep that in mind if I start to get fluid collecting in the base though, thanx.

So in anticipation for delivery of a STM I ordered, I went out and bought some supertank 0.2 coils. Well, looks like I won't be getting the STM after all... but I have an Atlantis v1. Anyone tried one of these coils in the Atlantis? I havent vaped that tank in a year.... but maybe with an improved coil it can be a pocket carry again on the Ipv D2. Thoughts?

Can you recommend a starting wattage setting for these coils in that tank? Remember, I never got to use them in a super tank so I have no baseline experience.

I run the .2 coils around 60 watts. Should work well in the Atlantis.

The only thing I can think of is that the "crap" tank isn't as clean as the better tank. Otherwise I have no clue.

I only use the .2 coils myself, and run them anywhere between 55-65W.

When I bought my first Super Tank Mini (Now I have 6?! Lol) I Googled Super Tank Mini review. Vaping360 did a review on it, and has a pretty good guide to go by as far as wattage goes for the .2 & .5 coil!

Directly from Vaping360:

"Vaping the Mini Super Tank 0.2ohm Coil (Recommended wattage: 30-150W)

30W – Not much vapor at 30W

40W – Ok vapor now and you can already taste some nice flavor, looks promising!

50W – Tonnes of vapor already and yet a nice cool vape with good flavor.

60W – Vapor getting slightly warmer now and massive plumes of vapor with delightful flavor.

70W – flavor is immense at 70W! A warm vape now and huge clouds.

80W –Amazing flavor again, but the vapor and drip tip are starting to get seriously hot. There is now way this will vape at 150W!

90W – The vapor is just too hot for me already and the drip tip gets really hot. I won’t be trying to vape this any higher than 90W.

I’d vape the Tobeco super tank mini on the 0.2ohm coil anywhere between 60W- 75W.

Vaping the Super Tank Mini 0.5ohm Coil (Recommended Wattage: 30-100W)

30W – Okay vapor, but not too much on the flavor front

40W – Flavor coming through now and big clouds already

50W – Lovely flavor and nice luke warm clouds

60W – Flavor is amazing and the vape is now getting on the warmer side

70W – This is now verging on warm to hot and the drip tip gets hot on longer inhales as does the vapor

80W – Verging on a burnt hit for me at this wattage, so I won’t be vaping it any higher. The vapor is also very hot.

Again the recommended wattage is way out on this coil. There is no way you can have a good vape at 100W on this 0.5ohm coil head. For me the vape was best around 55-65W. The flavor, as on the 0.2ohm coil, was exceptional. We are really impressed by this little tank."

Can anyone tell me if they know of anywhere to get replacement o-rings for the Super Tank Mini? Are they the same as the full size Super Tank? I found replacements for the full size Super Tank. I am only needing the o-rings that seal around the bottom and top the the glass. I have 6 Minis (Can you tell they're my favorite tank? ;)) But each one over time has gotten the juice that I had in each specific tank "stuck" in the o-rings and I can taste it when I try to use a different juice in my tanks.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Look at all the nice color options the Super Tank Mini is available in now!
I've got two white, a black, SS, green, and a dark blue in the mail on the way! I think I might need the green splatter next :D

Check out the nice replacement glass colors too! These are next on my order list.

ecig-city has them. $19.99 for the tanks, $3.00 for replacement glass, and they also have replacement tops in black and stainless for $4.99.

Has anyone tried the vaperesso ccell coils in a super tank yet I'm buying another super tank and debating if I want to try these vaperesso coils or do the Atlantis claptons. The vaperesso coils supposedly fit any tank that uses the Atlantis/triton/ etc tanks

I saw a guy using the Vaporesso CCell coils in the super tank mini on youtube. Seemed to work really well.

In fact, I might skip ordering the TargetV2 kit and just go for the mod + a supertank mini. I'll let you know how I go.

I got the vaporesso coils in the supertank. Flavor is good. But really tight draw no matter how u adjust the airflow. Not an airy coil at all

I just got my TST mini this morning from my local vape shop. been using a dripper for the past year and a half and decided I wanted to try a tank again for the ease of use... not having to stop and redrip every 5 minutes. got the TST mini around 11 am. so far running it with the .2 coil at 45 watts. I have to say this tank rocks. hopefully it will continue to behave like it is. may experiment with different wattages as well but this is the best tank I ever had so far. no leaks and awesome airflow

This Tank is soo dope hands down.. had the subtank mini and i just can't even go back to use that one no more, cant compare it at all. Altough these are the first 2 sub tanks i've had. Out of curiosity i bought one of the atlantis coils in .5 and I didnt like it at all. Don't know if its just me or what. Is that the way the atlantis vapes? never tried it before but if feels Airy af for me on the mini, I even tried closing down the intake but I just can't enjoy it at all even the flavor I can't taste it like with the coils that came with the mini. I ended up burning that coil for cranking it up higher then the 30 watts that atlantis recommends since it wasn't tickling me at all that low.

Now I gotta order them online and wait since no one around seems to have these coils.. like whaaa?!

Try the original herakles coil or the aspire Clapton coil. They are airy but good. Or try the vaporesso ceramic coils. U probably like those. 35 watts max and more of a mouth to lung hit.

Anyone else like their full size better than their mini? I just stole the base from my mini to put under my full size top. Best of both worlds.

I seen that the herakles coil don't have the threading on the top though... won't that strip the threads on the chimney and without em how does the top part stays stuck with bottom of the base/glass?

On a side note, I couldn't log in with the account from here idk why. Had to log in with tapatalk.. weird.

I could see it happening, maybe bring a dripper for to and from the airport and just pack your tank in the bag dry?

Will be interesting to hear, I would think it would hold since it doesn't rely on vacuum as much as traditional rta's but best to be safe and not have a pocket full of joose ;)

after asking about which coils I could of used.. that same day I ended up ordering two 5 packs online and then went to a B&M the next day where I got two extra coils to get me by meanwhile my vape mail came..

The 2 I got at the shop were perfect, popped em in and den vaped on flavor was good as always. Now that I got through those first 2 I already started on the packs I got from the vape mail but I feel like the flavor isn't there like with the other coils. don't know if I'm tripping maybe or they were DOA maybe?
They vape and all but the flavor feels lacking compared to the others I had.

Do the Tobeco Super Tank 0.2 ohm coils offer anything above and beyond the other compatible coils, such as various Aspire (especially the Triton 0.5 Clapton), Herakles, Starre, or Playboy (which I have not yet tried)? I don't need another tank in this class, but what about the ST coils?

Starre coils are expensive, if you can find them at all (even online or Ebay), and nice when they are not duds. However, the Starre holds plenty of liquid, and has alot of airflow into the tank, so I'm inclined to try something else in it before putting it aside.

In my experience I've found the Starre coils don't work at the advertised wattages. Anything passed 60 starts to get dry and they don't seem to last very long. I've only been through 4 packs of coils; two of the .25's and two of the .5's. However, the Ni200 coils work very well, almost as good as the Crown nickel coils. I don't vape nickle very often so I just use Atlantis coils in my Starre tank.

Alright where is the best place to order this? I got one from my B&M but they kill me with their prices. WOV dropped the ball albeit unintentionally with my first and only order with them (two weeks for an istick in stock? Really?) So im needing a good source for my vape needs!

Hi, I found this forum after looking for info on the Tobeco Super Tank Mini. Looks like this might be exactly what I'm looking for in terms of neat little tank for evenings out to replace my slightly oversized and underperforming Kangertech Subtank Mini.

Just a couple of questions if I may:

1. Would those who have experience of them both say this would be a significant improvement over the Kanger?

2. Afraid I was too lazy to read through the whole 9 pages, but can I use an RBA on the Mini? Saw a couple of comments saying I can could an atlantis, but another saying they leak, and not sure what the latest is on that.

Thanks!

I own the og SuperTank (full size) but mini uses the same coils. I will say that the SuperTank is 10x better then the kanger subtank. I hated it, the coils couldn't handle max vg juice and airflow was next to none. I love the coils and airflow in the ST. Coils last at least twice as long as well. I don't have the rda for it so no comment on that.

Hi, im new here . i rectly got the super tank mini and love it! my orginal mod a istick 50 quit on me and then i got pissed and ended up breacking the glass on my gav tank! It was a arctic, i have been using that tank for about a year. so i went on line and found a good deal on 2 artic in black and ordered them. then a day later i found a new mod a istick TC100W and it came with the STM, had never heard of it so didnt know anything about it but i wanted that mod so bought it! I got the artic tanks in and then a day or 2 latrr got the mod and STM in, now i had always thought that i couldnt find any better tank for flavor with the juice i run (high voltage shock treatment ), i have tried, but to no avail! But i filled the STM up and WOW! BAM!! IN MY FACE!!!! The taste is freakin awsome!! Wish i wouldnt have wasted the money on the artics now, i tryed one of them now and dont know how i loved it so much before! but anyway thought i would put my 2¢ in!

I recently got project s80 I put my super tank and check Atomizer. So the stock that came look a little funny. So put a new coil in and same thing.
But the tank works fine on my istick 60w TC. Does anyone know why it's not working?

Anyone know if there are any EU sellers of this device?

Searching around it seems the only way I can get one is via US based ebay sellers, then pay double the price in delivery charges.
