Hasn't been a big issue for me, a good quick trick though is take a razor or hobby knife and carefully cut slots into a vape band only where you wish airflow. leave the areas you wish blocked solid ^^Got the Exthermal yesterday. Aside from the size and weight and looking like Sputnik the build quality is nice. I can't say I'm a fan of the airflow system with all four slots being equally open at all times. I have to agree with Todd's review on that. I've played with a bunch of different builds on it and finally settled on stuffing some extra cotton along side of the negative posts to restrict the air slots there.
yeah lol i had a little of both left so a mixed their vial hopefully my 100vg vanilla custard comes in tomorrowpsps doh I think you meant 50/50 of the two juices....its late here. Glad another person enjoying the Exthermal....and not calling it Robodick haha
....but I am 90% of the time now vaping DIY recipes, mostly from here and 70-85VG.
i think my next pay check im ganna try making some for the first time because i go through about 10ml a day lol.
That thing sure is ugly you are right about that! Looking at the way it is designed I bet you get excellent flavor though. I have a similar clone and it's amazing flavor! It's not the same externally but it is ugly none the less! LolI havent used many drippers. Have owned 7 different ones, half of which were pretty dissapointing. The best all round and definately best for flavour for me would be a surprise to many. Innokin Exthermal. A guy on a popular UK facebook forum raved about it and he is part of a couple of people that do youtube juice reviews. Outside of that forum I never see this dripper mentioned, maybe as its ugly, Innokin or just not known about. But a lot of people on that forum have bought one (I have two!), and every single person that has done so seems very happy to have done so. Cheap, easy to build on and maintain, seems to perform very well on both low and high wattage builds, VERY deep juice well and decent vapour but most importantly it has improved the flavour of 90% of the juices I have tried on it in comparison to the other drippers I still use (dark horse and derringer) by up to 25% on some! Mod/tank/dripper wise etc etc this is the one and only product I have to recommend as from my limited experience it is the one product far superior to any others I have tried in the same category.
I'm going with the velocity I have 3 of different colors cause the flavor is so good and the turbo is great too and I'll know about the tugboat tomorrow

Velocity clone. Cheap, great flavor and easy to build. Mine came with the wrong size Allen key so check if you get one.

Wow - I've been thinking about picking up a Kennedy... I guess now I will. What's the flavor difference? Same build in both atties?and the difference was night and day.
Boy, have you ever got that right. So, just a suggestion: use the same build when comparing atties and juices. Different builds make a HUGE difference in flavor. Also the mod.
So, just a suggestion: use the same build when comparing atties and juices. Different builds make a HUGE difference in flavor. Also the mod. 7.6 volts on my Noisy Cricket will give a different vape than 7.6 volts on my RX200, for instance.
That's the next thing on my "Gotta Have It" list.In the RTA category i can recommend the non other than the Geekvape Griffin.
I love mine, too! Got a 0.5Ω dual coil build (2x28/40 fused Clapton) in it right now for the Noisy Cricket.I love the twisted messes black and gold for flavor!
I saw a few of your posts and you mentioned "my 100%vg vanilla custard from the UK" ejuice. Might I ask the brand? I get a few of them from the UL too. I am a Vanilla Custard Obsessed Freak that has tried so may versions that I am no longer posting how many I have tried because I think it looks too cocky or like I think of myself as the authority on them. I can only be the authority on what I like so I am starting to just say the obsessed VC freak part leaving the number out. I am however always willing to try a new brand or series when I see someone that has found one they really like and from what I saw in your posts it seems you have found your favorite or one of your favorites. My favorite that has not been matched or beaten on my personal favorites is from the UK as well. I am one of the few that can message with a request for an order and he will fill it any time as he knows of my absolute unbreakable commitment of calling it my absolute favorite and he is a good guy. That being said I do like to use other vc's as I like different versions that are unique and they also provide contrast to my favorite that allows me to avoid flavor burnout. So can or would you please consider sharing your favorite UK 100%VG Vanilla Custard? If anyone else reads this post and wants to make a suggestion for a good VC please feel free and let me say thank you in advance. My exthermal came in today and its F&%*ing AWESOME! Ive got all the flowholes open i was excited to vape it so i just threw together a dual 25ga kanthal 7 wraps 7/64 drill bit 0.4Ω 4v 40w mixed 50/50 charlie noble blue bay and savage walter white. Cant wait till my 100vg vanilla custard comes in! This thing tastes greatView attachment 24686
I prefer single coil coil builds and my favorite is the Vicious Ant Cyclone AFC. Much better than my Freakshow Mini. If I was buying for duals I would get a Derringer or Madhatter over the Freakshow because it leaks like crazy and it's harder to build on.
